This brand will do it everytime! Great thick paper that handles all the mediums I use (acrylic paint, gouache, oil pastel, colored pencils, etc..). I love the black color, it really makes my art standout. There's also never any warping, never any product issues as a whole. The paper also cuts nicely if you need to resize. Overall, I love my purchase and will continue using this brand.

Originally it wasn’t the color blue that I was expecting. I wanted a brighter blue for mixed media. I also wanted an 8.5x5.5 size. But the more that I work with the paper, I love using it. Maybe it just takes a bit of time with the paper. I decided that I’m willing to cut it down in size a bit. I might buy more in the future.

Great paper. 5 stars. But please note that Amazon’s product page says this is 140 lb. paper. This is incorrect. It is 184 lb. paper, much thicker and better than regular 140 lb. paper.

Love to draw on this paper. The colors really pop and the paper is thick and sturdy.

These are my favorite sketchbooks to use for mixed media. They’re especially great if you use alcohol-based markers; the pages don’t bend and don’t bleed through. The only thing keeping this from a five star is the sketchbooks came in damaged due to thoughtless and nonsensical packaging. Ive included pictures showing how the paper packaging cause the books to come with bent corners and creased pages.

This was the first time I’ve tried mixed media paper. I’m not an artist, I’m a calligrapher…so i wasn’t sure how my inks would behave on its surface. I actually love it…it’s very heavy paper (which is nice), and I found that my inks performed quite nicely on it. The price is “stupid cheap” for such a heavy paper, with a very nice writing surface.

Nice quality paper, heavy weight, no bleed through. Reasonably priced, I would purchase this again.

Love this paper. Works like the other colors of mixed media paper. The only downside: it tears easily when removing masking tape compared to the other colors of Strathmore mixed media paper. Strathmore mixed media papers are my go to. I tape down the paper to a board, and use gouache or watercolor. Even if i use heavy washes, the paper dries flat. I dint have to prewet the paper before I tape it.

Pensavo di acquistare una confezione di carta "multicolore" come indicato nella descrizione, cioè mista con fogli bianchi, grigi, terra ecc. invece sono tutti bianchi. Buona qualità ma per il prezzo pensavo di acquistare ben altro.

Papel de excelente qualidade. Comprei para testar com tintas acrílicas neon. Ainda não o fiz, mas testei iniciando uma mandala com caneta branca. Tenho certeza que ficará linda!
