Not that cheap material....very good
Needed to put my shower on a higher position (I'm 6 feet tall), the box came with everything I needed to instal. Good material, nice quality.

easy to install
This works well to raise a shower head in an old shower that is really low. No leaks and easy to install

Good product 👌
Good. No rust and it's been long time since I bought it still looks like new. Great product 👌..

nice gasket on flange. I installed with plumbing thread sealant smeared on instead of tape.
I really like the gasket that keeps the trim ring on this firmly in place and precisely centered around the arm. I like the look of one with a wider Arc better but this one fit my particular shower design better so I installed this one. I think it looks great with the Kohler Forte shower head, I don't think a double shower head with a fixed head in the center and a handheld on the side will fit quite as well because of the more downward angle but I think most of you know that. I installed a Bower in the other shower already and I am considering it in here because of the forte is I bought like new open box and two of them people had changed out with a different gallons per minute which may or may not be corrected by changing the water restrictor. frustrated that Amazon didn't catch this one of the boxes look pretty trashed. crap I have to see if I already reviewed the Bower (generally considered a no name brand, but some of these ones are successful and build on here) although I wish that one had a pressure regulator that was in between what it comes with and none installed. yeah I got off topic but for some of you are changing this there's could be a 50/50 chance I think that you're also changing your shower head right now.I installed with plumbing thread sealant smeared on instead of tape.I actually think I had looked already I was hoping that they sold this gasket separately for my other shower that I just replaced with a new one that looked exactly like the old one the Chrome was seeming to just start to degrade, and the pretty trim plate is completely loose. I had a neighbor who does some plumbing help me put it in the wall just cuz I was anxious about the possibility of a behind wall leak and because this one was so tall it looked like one of those old handheld drills spinning, good leverage for installing. you can push the gasket up onto the wall before you push the flange and then just get the gasket just right as you snug it up to the wall (post installation of arm). the person who helped was annoyed at how hard it was to push when gasket was already inserted through the edge of the flange.

Not quite what I wanted. REVISED
The metal itself looked thick and shiny chrome. Unfortunately it is not very long from the distance it connects to the water and the point the shower head connects. It also sprays the water in a less desirable pattern.I wanted an extension that would move the shower a little more out from the wall and, most importantly, raise the height of the head so the spray is closer to an actual rainfall.I plan to return this purchase.Michael TurnerRevision: I initially gave this product 2 stars and received an email from the seller asking me to reconsider. The seller pointed out that the measurements were correctly presented in the ad. The seller did not sound threatening, nor offer any inducement for me to change my review. I respect his desire to protect his reputation as an honest seller and also am impressed that he didn’t try to bribe me in some way. After reflecting on my review and scrutinizing the ad, I owe the seller an apology because the product was AS ADVERTISED. It was totally my fault that I didn’t pay attention the the measurements of the extension that were clearly and accurately presented. From the picture, I imagined that this would raise my shower head to the height I wanted. Oops, my bad! I didn’t take into account that the connection for shower head itself was going to add downward length. I didn’t think it through. My opinion is that the extension is high quality and measurements are accurate. If the measurements meet your need, I think you’ll be very pleased with this product. Side note: I had planned to return the extension, but since it was my mistake to order this, I’m just going to keep it since I don’t believe the seller should be responsible for my error.

It's good and I think that I will like this, but,
If you are going to send a product that has already been installed you could at least try to hide that it is used. The pipe came with 2 rubber washers jammed into on end of the pipe and another rubber washer with the wire mesh strainer that was rusted.. Also had a couple remnants of teflon tape on parts and the little roll of tape was empty. If you would have removed the empty tape roll and rubber washer things and cleaned off the few little pieces of tape I would not have noticed this was used. Don't know why I'm telling you how to be better at this- but I guess I feel kinda sorry for anyone not clever enough to hide this.

Excellent retrofit for an older home. Highly recommended.
When I was replacing the showerhead in my master bath, I had to deal with a shower arm that was disintegrating from corrosion. When I was looking for a replacement, I noticed that there were all kinds of styles available! That was exciting for me, since the upstairs showers in my older home were apparently made for garden gnomes. You see, for whatever reason, the mount points for the shower arms are REALLY low. The Purelux Goose Neck Shower Arm Water Outlet PJ1202 (Brushed Nickel Finish) seemed like a perfect retrofit. The Purelux PJ1202 arrives in a flat box, with a gasketed trim cap, and some PTFE tape. There's not really much to the installation, but there are a couple things to consider. First, always wind PTFE tape in the direction of the thread, from the start, down. Second, slide the cap up the wall-side of the shower arm... even if it were possible to slide it from the other end, that would be stupid (it would take forever, and possible tear up the finish). I've included a couple photos of the installation. The shower arm is sturdy and has a really nice surface finish. The cap is decent, though not quite as nice as the arm. Highly recommended.
