Love this mousse!
I am a fairly pale person and this mousse gave me a natural tan. I applied after exfoliating and didn’t shower till the next morning. I highly recommend using a velvet mitt to apply, it makes it so much more even and goes on easy. The smell is not too bad.

Is It Really This Good!?
Wow! So far, I'm loving this self-tanner! It's very affordable, has great color, lasts fairly long, and is easy to apply - can't get much better!I was once a sun-worshiper and really enjoyed both the process and the results, but I feel those days are behind me now, at least a true baking session under the golden sun. And since I've resolved to go the way of sunless tanning, I've been searching for a tanner I could live with. Before this, I was using B-Boat spray (directly onto my skin), so it was easy, and looked OK, but I did get a few "orangey" comments when I over-did it. This St. Moriz looks so much better! I bought some mitts (and "kabuki" brush, but it hasn't arrived yet), and even using a washcloth this St. Moriz did a good job on my guy face, with a little care. Use Medium if you're lighter skinned, and dark if you're darker toned. And it drys pretty fast, so work in single major sections of your body at a time. The "bronzer" (that shows where you've applied it) is a perfect shade, and not too different from the actual tan. I can't say enough about how much I like this - I'm almost looking around the corners to find the negative side. But all good for now! Highly recommended! And only 4 stars because... I save 5ers for REALLY extra special items, but this tanner may just be sponge-worthy! Time will tell...UPDATE: Six weeks later, and I'm still lovin' this tanner! I find the best way to apply is to use a kabuki (foundation) brush! No need for gloves, and you can apply in such a way to be streak-free, and it's easy-peasy (but I only apply to face, neck, arms and hand backs.) Good stuff!

Looks great!
I am very pale and decided to try this after a recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. Looks great and easy to apply with a mitt and some practice. Lasts for about a week. Definitely recommend.

Works!
I really liked the ease I could use this product. I’ve never dabbled in self-tanner before, and this came out so natural looking! The color was a perfect “return from tropical destination” color IMO, it moisturized my skin well, and I’m on day 3 and it has barely faded. The color block color is beautiful as is, and I only left it on 3 hours before washing off because I was going out and I just looked naturally sun kissed. I also used an old wool sock to apply (lol) because I was too cheap to buy a mitt and honestly, the color got on my hands really badly and I was terrified, but I quickly washed it off with just soap and water and there was no trace of color on my palms! I did my face, hands, and feet with an old foundation brush, but the rest was just using the sock with circular motions, like I watched in like 14 YouTube tutorial videos and it was easy to blend, and probably took ten minutes total. I did my whole body twice, let it dry, put on loose clothing, then went about my day until 3 hours later, rinsed it, and I was ready to go with a new tan! Much better than sun damage and super affordable!!

Not horrible but not great either
I tried this product in hopes it was a dupe for st.tropez (I’ve used st.tropez for years but with the price tag now being almost $50 a bottle I was looking for a more pocket friendly option)This product goes on really well and I like that you have immediate results which makes it nearly impossible to miss a spot. It’s not streaky and doesn’t dry sticky like other self tanners do although it does have the typical self tanner smell. I love the final color BEFORE showering. As soon as you rinse, the color is gone (I bought the medium shade) Ive made sure to not scrub or wipe the color off while rinsing but it doesn’t make a difference. I’ve also tried to rinse and then do another layer but again, I’m back to my normal skin tone after rising. I am going to try the dark shade to see if it’s any better but if not I’ll be trying another brand.

Perfect bronzed glow!
I have a naturally light skin-tone and have to watch out for self tanners that make me too-dark-too-quick or the dreaded oompa-loompa-orange, EEK! I’ve had many bad experiences, especially when I was a newbie. I like the self tanners that gradually give you a faux tan that actually looks natural. The St. Moriz Instant Self Tanner is a mousse. A mousse self tanner has a little different application technique. You need to use a glove or tanning mitt to apply. The mousse will quickly stain your palms without one.How to apply:Shake the closed bottle well.Pump a small amount (1-2 pumps) on your mitt or gloves.Apply to the body in a circular motion being sure to cover all areas of your body. I like to start at my legs and work up to my face.Apply sparingly to your ankles, knees and elbows. I like to bend them to prevent zebra stripes later.Allow to dry for 5-10 minutes.Scent:One of the drawbacks of most self tanners is the scent. I am always looking for ones with a light and fresh scent, this one is close to perfect. The scent is light and is barely, if at all, noticeable the next day.Consistency:The St. Moriz self tanner is a super light mousse and within minutes you won’t be able to feel it on your skin. Because it is so light, it has no moisturizing properties, be sure to moisturize.Price:$6.05 for 6.76 fluid ounces or .90 cents per ounce. I have only found this tanning mousse on Amazon. Results:Although application was a little more time consuming because of the foam, it gives amazing, natural-looking color. I was concerned the first night I used it as it looked so dark. But with blending it all smoothed right out and I looked like I went to the beach the week before. I have had zero streaks and zero patches since using this (could be because of my fabulous prep work, read post here). It has given me a gorgeous medium-dark tan just after one use. The best part about this self tanner is that it actually looks BETTER after a shower the next day.

WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL BECAUSE OF THE PRICE BUT WOW😍😍😍
I love this so much, I've tried most of drugstore self tanners but they made my skintone an unnatural colour or it just didn't show up on my skin. Purchased the medium and dark for an even tan since my skin isn't even toned so it does the job(: Used it once during the winter, almost a month ago & it lasted me almost 2 weeks, so I was very please. I hardly ever see reviews of darker skinned ladies writing a review or video reviews on these tanning products, but for color reference I'm the shade sienna in becca ultimate coverage. I love getting darker in the summer but laying out in the sun can be damaging no matter what skintone you are, so fake tans is a great substitute!!

St Tropez self-tanning excellence without the price tag.
I must say I was sceptical when I bought this. At a fraction of St Tropez one of the best brands on market for self-tanning products. I didn't expect it to be as good, but went with the positive reviews, I figured since it's cheap I'd give it a go. I know some peoples ideas of what constitutes a *natural* looking fake tan differ greatly and I'm quite fussy. My first attempt wasn't great and I was almost dismissed the product as rubbish. Even using the recommend mitt I wasn't able to get an even distribution and it came out a bit too dark, streaky, clumpy, and basically unnatural looking on my face. HOWEVER, a second time provided really impressive results and by the third attempt, I'd mastered it fully and had a convincing looking fan, like I'd just stepped off a plane from a hot country! The tone is perfect, not orange or weird, just natural sun-tan skin colour, with absolutely NO noticeable scent. It does takes a bit of trial and error, so expect 2-3 goes and be patient. You have to learn the knack of applying it.Here's how I do it.. first of all, LESS IS MORE. Just use a little tiny blob on the mitt and start somewhere on your supper arm or somewhere covered up, so you can see how dark it will come out and how thinly you can spread it. The more thinly you spread it, the more natural it looks, but the lighter the tan is. However if you want it darker, its better to re-apply layers, rather than try to use loads on the first application. It doesn't seem to matter if you have a tanned area (drying) and a white area, you can re-apply, overlap and it blends perfectly! That's really neat. So, here's my technique from trial and error.. I use little blobs on the mitt, rubbed gently into my face and neck after exfoliating, patting face dry. Then I use a simple Nivea for Men moisturiser and wait about 40 minutes and this helps even out your skin tone, get rid of any dry patches etc. I focus on the large areas first, the cheeks, forehead and then blended it down to the hairline, over the nose, around eyes and mouth last (around the nose and mouth MUST be done sparingly, this is where fake tan looks more obvious if you overdo it). For the neck area, I've discovered it's best to work from the bottom up, and again, use sparingly over the jaw line (especially if you're a guy with slight stubble).Don't forget to do all around your neck, around and over your ears, and behind the ears (do it sparingly again). If you neglect these areas its a tell-tale giveaway you have face tan if you glaring obvious white places next to tanned. The idea is to get an even, consistent look all around. The mitt is great for wide areas of skin but what I do is use latex gloves and have a bit on the palm and use a finger to just spread it over the delicate areas like hair line, ears, nose, eyelids etc.The colour comes pretty instant so gives you a fair idea of coverage. As time goes by, say within about 1-2 hours the tan deeps a little and looks more natural as your skin oils/sweat etc help. I find slashing water on face too after waiting about 4-5 hours is a good way to get a more natural tanned look and removes any excess. Just pat dry with a dark towel, moisturise again, and you'll look stunning and good to go.My brother just came back from Spain after I use St Moriz for the third time.. We were standing side by side and it was hard to tell the difference in tans, mine looked as natural as his people said and couldn't believe it came from a bottle.I would not hesitate to continue using this as my no1 tan product of choice now and recommend it to others. I think the bottle will last ages. Just remember, less is more, go slowly and see how much you need to apply to get the tan depth you like. Finally, it lasts a decent while, maybe 3-4 days before you need to top-up the tan. If you do get it on your hands, it's fairly easy to get off with soap if you wash them immediately. If you leave it longer than 5 mins, it dries and stains. And whatever you do, DO NOT wear light clothes or your best shirts, until it's properly dried which can take hours. Either wear a dark dressing gown, old t-shirt or a black shirt if going out.Happy tanning! Look turn heads with your healthy glowing tan and get admiring glances from people :-)
