Love these reeds. Especially useful if you double.

The Legere brand of reeds are very playable, easy to produce the sounds across all rage of the horn. Price is not very affordable, but they can last a couple of months of enjoyable music.

This is a solid product I bought one for marching band and I loved it even through concert band I still play it but if you play for say a 3.5 cane reed strength I would recommend a 3 or 2.5 synthetic reed depending on versatility my preference is a little firm but I got used to it. The reed itself is very strong I dropped this thing 5 feet up on a football stand and didn't crack and when it did it felt like a new reed these things a miracle you can have numerous cracks in them and it sounds like a brand new seen straight ou of the box

I doubted these would be very good but wanted to try to save money on practice reeds. I was shocked. It sounds great. I heard Derek Brown plays on these (which isn't surprising since he does a lot of slap tongue) but didn't know if they would deliver a strong sound for normal play. They do.

Discovered these senior year of highschool. Great reeds, last long if you take care of them. Rotate two around with my cane reeds. use it with my s80 c* and Rovner Versa. Would like to find an olegature for this set up.

I love the Legere reeds. The sound quality is good/great. Some people nock synthetic reeds, but if you have a Legere right strength, right cut for you and your setup it's golden. They don't care about humidity or temperature. They just work.

It works in a pinch, but I still prefer cane reeds. I used this exclusively for about 4 months, just to see if it was a permanent(ish) solution. It'll work, you can sound good. But I felt like there were many overtones missing in my sound, causing it to be a little more hollow and brittle. Altissimo was there, but didn't sound close to the sound I can get on cane. I definitely recommend giving these a shot. There's a nice comfort in having this in my case for emergencies.
