The metal cage is super sturdy BUT the straps are synthetic leater so don't know how well they will stand up to time and weather

I use this on my girl while we’re out and about. I couldn’t find this brand for a medium-sized pit bull…she’s a pit/American bulldog mix…so I just went with the large dog size. It seems a little big on her, but works the same. She is able to snooze in it, and drink water with it on, so those are both positive indicators. She also does not try to get it off, the worst she does is rub her head in the grass. I expected her to run away every time I tried to put it on, but to the contrary, it has now become like a leash…a positive indicator that it s time to go outside. She’ll stand still and wait for me to put it on. At some point, I will probably add one more notch in the main band to make it a little bit tighter and I would like to see a band to hold the excess leather after it’s pulled through the hasp. The main drawbacks are that it seems a tad too big and that I have difficulty seeing the holes in the main harness to ensure it’s tightened properly. However it’s the ONLY muzzle I’ve ever found that the dog isn’t constantly trying to get out of and in fact, she seems to be more calm in it and seems to like it because it means she’s going for a walk. Also, attempting to tie off the excess band is a bad idea bc it allows the band to loosen around the buckle, so for now it just let it hang down. Even though she’s never bitten anyone, I also use it while my grandson is visiting just as an added bit of protection bc kids can be erratic, or stumble or whatever. Because she doesn’t mind the muzzle, she’s fine with having it in while he’s here. She loves him, but I never want to take any chances just the same.

At first, I was a little unsure about this product, but it’s actually worked out really well. My dog doesn’t love it, but he doesn’t fight me when it’s time to put it on either. The quality feels great, and I’d definitely recommend it. I got it because my pitbull can sometimes get a bit rowdy with the neighborhood cats, and this gives me peace of mind knowing he won’t hurt anything

Would buy again! Excellent fit for my Chow Chow. He took to it very easily as it is not too snug on his face. I have tried a couple other soft muzzles that he has pawed off successfully in the past. We have had an ongoing issue with neighbors keeping their dogs off leash throughout the day. This has kept us on edge with constant look outs before heading out for his walks. Not a “bad dog” muzzle — it’s a “my peace of mind when others forget their leashes” muzzle 🐾 Save yourself the anxiety with an unpredictable world and control what you can: your home. Overnighting this item has made for a stress-free walk. Also solving the constant worry of him eating things tossed on the sidewalk. I am happy to have found the right product for my family.

By far the best fit for our rescue Pitbull. Pros compared to other muzzles: the side buckle adjustments looped through the leather strap surrounding the head, while others were riveted so no room for adjustment. Plenty of holes along the top strap to get the snuggest fit. The nose pad and wire cage sits comfortably on his snout leaving 3/4 to 1-inch of space in front of his eyes. The other muzzles sat so close he'd have to close his eyes if the muzzle moved much. Only con to the muzzle were 2 left over metal burs on each side of the muzzle cage that would come in contact with his face. A few minutes of filing to smooth those areas was all it took.

My pitbull was able to get it off during training, and it broke.

Me parece un producto de primerísima calidad y excelente diseño, permite al perro el jadeo de forma natural e incluso le permite olfatear libremente. Altamente recomendable. Comparado con lo que existe en el mercado es más costoso pero merece la pena pagar por un producto de alta calidad.
