XUJI Transgender FTM Breathable Cotton Elastic Band Colors Chest Binder Tank Top (M-6XL)

Been getting these since 2018 and love em they’re great they are pretty comfortable compared to others I’ve tried and it’s not too thick I do wish the the top part was a bit thinner though because with some shirts it kinda pops out but maybe I’m the only one noticing. It does get sorta hot but make sure to wear them safely so that you don’t get too overwhelmed or heat stroke lol. The material is pretty nice it’s not too thick and it’s not too heavy it’s pretty stretchy and has that elastic sorta feel to it. It fits kinda weird but I’ll explain what I mean. so I weigh about 180lbs and I’m about 5’6 I don’t have a big chest but I don’t have a small one either, I usually get a M (medium) because I want to keep my chest as flat as possible without hurting myself. I did try the XL(extra large) and the L(large) but they were just a bit too lose for my comfort I would suggest to maybe get two sizes and see which one fits your body best and there’s no shame in getting something that isn’t what you like.

Me: Non-binary trans masc, 5’7, 44” bust, around 200+ lbs. Let me start by saying this doesn’t fit the standards for a “safe” binder, as the elastic goes all the way around the rib cage instead of only compressing across the front. I would urge anyone who purchases this binder to order larger than they think they need. Binders that are too tight can restrict breathing and can cause harm to your rib cage and lungs. Knowing all of this, I chose to make this purchase anyway. I ordered two of these last year and was generally very happy with them. Lots of euphoria with a flatter chest, and overall a comfortable way to achieve it. I’ve gained some weight and was getting tired of fighting with bra extenders so I ordered three more in a larger size this week. DESIGN I was excited to discover the new black and white ones are longer than the ones I ordered last year. They have 11 clips instead of 8, so they cover more area and reduce roll-up. For some reason, though, the teal color did not have the 11 clips like the other two (despite all being the same size), which was disappointing. I agree with other reviewers who have mentioned the elastic line at the top being a bit annoying, but it’s not unmanageable for me. I like the coverage and can breathe pretty easily, but it is important to take breaks from wearing it. MATERIAL The solid black and solid white colors are a t-shirt like material, and the teal is a slinky sport material. I made the mistake of putting my old binders in the dryer a few times, which is what I attribute the curling to, so I’m hopeful that with proper care the new ones will hold their shape better. DRESSING & FIT The best way to put this binder on is to clip it first, and then put it on over your head like you would a sports bra. Then adjust as needed for a flatter look. Unhook all of the clips to remove. I like the amount of coverage it has across the back. The longer design does cause some digging/irritation at the bottom edge of the clips, especially if you’re a larger bodied person (expect more rolling up, as well). I will update this review later on after I’ve worn and washed it a few times.

LOVE this binder! I bought it in black at first to test it out, immediately purchased another in white upon try on. They’re definitely true to color as pictured, and I don’t mind if they show a little under my normal clothes because they genuinely just look like tank tops. No weird smell right out of the package either. For reference, I’m five feet tall, fluctuate in weight from 89 to 92lbs, and am a 32A in bras. This gets me VERY flat, very comfortably. The fabric on the outside feels similar to any t shirt. The inside is soft, smooth, sort of slippery, but not in the way that means it will slide around on you. Just more like its intended to not absorb so much moisture or oils into the fabric side that touches you all day. The compression portion across the chest is stiffer than the rest of the fabric but not insanely thick, enough to tamp down the breast tissue. My own breasts do tend to come up over the top most part of the compression rectangle throughout the day, giving me that sort of muffin top chest look, but it’s no hassle at all to adjust my tits back down lol. The lowest portion of the binder comes to the most outward potruding part of my rib cage. It’s easy to take on and off, easy to clean, a little warmer to wear than a long, black binder I have from Spectrum Outfitters. But seriously, at this price point, this quality is amazing! All three levels of compression are comfortable on me, I just select one according to my mood honestly. Can NOT recommend enough. Will continue buying this brand from now on, the price, quality, and accessibility is absolutely worth it.

This product has a lot of good potential- the binding front is pretty thick, the fabric is decently soft, its pretty lightweight, and its overall a simple straightforward product- hence why its gotten any stars at all- but the snap on the sides!! Ow :( I got the right size and everything and it has no issues fitting- but as soon as I had it on, I immedietly could feel a sharp bite into my skin from the metal hooks. I ran my hand over the seems and couldnt find anything out of place- but the entire time I had the binder on, I could feel something sharp and uncomfortable slicing into my skin on the inside of the binder. Luckily, its not too hard to just wear a tight tanktop beneath it or try to add some thin extra fabric- but still, that overall adds more bulk and it sucks to even have to do it in the first place. Still, if you just need a straightforward cheap binder- its really not a bad one. I dont even know if i just got an unfortunate one and the others are fine but I know mine hurt on its on!

I bought it for running and it’s perfect. As everyone with boobs (as in having a D cup or more) knows, sports bras aren’t made for sports of any kind. But that’s where this comes in. I would wear it all day if I didn’t designate it for running, thus making it all sweaty prompting me to remove in between my runs. It’s just that comfortable and functional. It’s like if sports bras actually did what they were made to do. And I can breath in them. It actually works more like a “sports bra corset” bc it actually provides lift as well as pushing them in, more so than any other kinda bra you could actually wear, including a push-up bra and is more comfortable than you can imagine than one too. I do wear my high impact sports bra underneath it - that of course only provides enough support to walk around the house in and not doing anything else - and my shirt over it. It’s still breathable and moves as I move. Like I said, it’s comfortable like a sports bra, but is as secure as a corset. I do however clip it to be in the middle setting, giving it more of a flat corset shape to it, it would make me flatter if I put them all on the tightest clasps all throughout but doing so can be hard for me and I realized that I don’t need to personally so I never did. That said if you are trans, it does help to flatten, especially if you made it all the same row like it’s designed, but it may be hard to make it look like you got nothing if you have a lot up top like I do. But even wearing it the way I do does help in feeling like they there less, and they don’t get in the way either, but the bigger you are cup size in proportion to your band size, the harder it will be for it to make you flatter. But wearing a sports bra underneath it may help keep them together and in place when putting it on. Update. Okay I’m now 150lbs (was 170-175) and I keep it on the tightest clips. It’s not as tight as it was before but still works well. And best of all, it holds up great in the wash. As for washing, I wash it in a top loader with other things that the hooks can’t hook into, like sheets and things. And I hang it to dry. It’s held up really well.

First Criticisms: I thought about taking off a star because of the description, but I don't think that would be fair. I do recommend the manufacturer's change the description though, it says "Wearers often include mastectomy, transgender, FTM, tomboys, Ts, lesbians, or stage performer persons"... the target demographic should be FTM people, not "tomboys" or "lesbians". Sure they can purchase one if they want, but branding it as that is kind of spitting in the face of those who need it medically. It would be like branding prescription drugs as "Often used to treat medical problems, but also works if you just wanna have some fun too!"... not very appropriate. You wouldn't see a listing for a dress that says "Often worn by male to female transgenders!", because that's just dumb. The same logic applies here. The Binder: I've only just put it on, but my first impression is it's pretty comfortable. It's very thin which is nice, because it makes it lightweight instead of hard, bulky name-brand binders that are very visible through shirts. The wide neck allows me to wear most shirts without the straps showing, which is very relieving. I like how flexible the fabric is, it compresses instead of just putting up a flat "wall" like name-brand ones do. I also really like the ability to tighten it, whilst having it on. With over-head slip on binders, my big ahh head always ends up stretching them out, so it's nice I can avoid that. So far, it is well worth the price. Although, I have a small chest, so I'm not certain on whether it would be suited for someone with a larger chest. My expectations for the durability are pretty low, though. Although the thinness and flexibility is nice for comfort, this makes me doubt it will hold its shape for very long. In a month or two I will update my review on how it holds up. 4 Months Update: It's held up pretty well, obviously it stretches and loses its compression abilities as time goes on, but that is expected. I recommend wearing a thin shirt or second "smooth" binder underneath as the metal parts can dig into your skin and be uncomfortable. It's definitely my favorite binder I've purchased, I will be ordering these from now on.

This feels like a high quality and durable garment right out of the package. After a few wears, I have a good sense for this garment. The compression is solid and supportive, and the overall construction feels sturdy. I also really like the adjustable side clasps, which help fine tune the fit. The wide straps are comfortable on the shoulders and distribute weight nicely. That said, the fit did not work perfectly for me. It runs a bit short, and I found that it did not fully cover as much as I would have liked. It tends to ride up a bit high, and wish the length was a bit longer. It may not be the best option for larger chested individuals unless you size up. The material is slightly on the more abrasive side, so that is something to keep in mind depending on your sensitivity. Overall, I think this is a well made piece with good support, but I would personally try a larger size next time for a better fit.

This is only the second binder I’ve ever used, it is a major upgrade to my first which was also a XUJI. The padding inside is very comfortable and the fit is snug, but I don’t feel like I’m being suffocated. I also love that it’s adjustable, great for if you need to unbind for a moment but don’t want to take everything off. I usually try to not bind for over five hours as it can be dangerous to go longer. With my past binder, I experienced a lot of chest pain even after an hour, but with this binder (which I ordered the same size) I’ve been feeling a lot less pain, almost none. My only complaint is that the wire hooks are very flexible. I had an instance where I leaned against something and the bottom hook shifted and dug into my skin, which was really uncomfortable and I couldn’t adjust since I didn’t want people to know I was binding. It could just be that mine was defective, but it’s something to keep in mind. I had it happen a second time and had to tuck a bit of my shirt under the clasp so it would stop digging into my skin, which isn’t ideal since that makes the binding uneven on your ribs. I think it would be better if maybe there was some sort of thin cloth divider that could go underneath and keep the prongs from touching your skin, or maybe something to go on top of the prongs to keep them from attaching to your shirt. But over all, I would recommend, especially if you bind for longer periods of time. The material is comfortable and if you get the right size it doesn’t feel like it’s suffocating you. I was also very impressed with how flat it made me look, since my other one didn’t make much of a difference. For reference I got a medium, I wear it on the loosest setting, and I’m pretty skinny. It flowed with my shape and looked super natural, I don’t think you’d be able to tell I was even wearing a binder, which is exactly what I was looking for!

Bought for another and they really appreciate the different fittings that this can do. They say it's comfortable and binds nicely.

This is the second time they are great never get loose but if you have a big big chest you need to take big size mine size D i have to take next time 3xl

I have a medium size chest and am pre transition, trying to reduce the upper curves, this product works. I recommend the 2 sizes up rule, it worked for me. 5 stars for sure
