From New York Times bestselling author Mark Cheverton, comes a book that will take boys and girls who love Minecraft on an incredible adventure into the game they love. An ancient jungle temple holds the secrets to stopping the evil Herobrine! Gameknight999โs true enemy has finally surfaced: Herobrine, an artificially intelligent virus that wants to escape Minecraft and destroy mankind with their own creationโthe Internet. If he is able to escape the game and get online, Herobrine will infect millions of computer systems and turn machines and weapons on their masters, threatening all of humanity. After facing Herobrine in battle and nearly dying, Gameknight realizes heโs going to need much more help to defeat this seemingly invincible enemy. His NPC friends tell him of the ancient Oracle residing in the oldest jungle temple in Minecraft who knows the secret to defeating this terrible threat. The path to the temple is fraught with danger, with zombies, spiders, and creepers lying in wait behind every tree and bush. Gameknight will enlist the help of his friends on his quest, but will they reach the Oracle in time to stop Herobrine? Gameknight999 will be tested to his limits, and perhaps beyond, in this spine-tingling new adventure. Sky Pony Press, with our Good Books, Racehorse and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of books for young readersโpicture books for small children, chapter books, books for middle grade readers, and novels for young adults. Our list includes bestsellers for children who love stories told with LEGO bricks, books that teach lessons about tolerance, patience, and the environment, and much more. We also publish books for fans of Minecraft and Pokemon GO, including books full of useful hacks, tips, and tricks, as well as Minecraft adventure stories for readers who love the fight of good vs. evil, and magical academies similar to Hogwarts in the Harry Potter saga. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home. Review: One of my daughter's very favorites. - The kiddo has loved this series and reads it voraciously. We bought this one because the library didn't carry it, but I may get more ebooks for her since she might even want to reread them. Started the series at 8, is 9 now. It's great to see her reading something she loves, and she will come to me to read to me and share favorite passages. Review: My son loves it and I kind of like it too. - I am a mom that cares for my son full time. He loves Minecraft, and I love to play it with him. We have spent countless hours through the years building, pretending, and hunting bad guys in Minecraft. When we started reading these books together, my son (who used to dislike reading) was ecstatic to read with me every night. He seems captivated by the vivid descriptions and always eager to find out what happens to Gameknight999. The book arrived in excellent condition. As an adult with a slightly more mature taste in literature, the reading can be a bit over-descriptive and repetitive. Also, there are a few grammatical and spelling errors within the books that can make reading aloud to children awkward, or make comprehension difficult for young readers. Overall, even with the errors, I still truly enjoy reading the series and find myself sneaking a peak into the next chapter after my little one has dozed off. For that, Mark Cheverton has earned my 5 stars.

Great books!
My ten year old loves these books. He reads two a week. He says theyโre his favorite books and theyโre great for Minecraft lovers because in some of the books they teach you stuff about Minecraft that you may not have known.

Questionably "New" ??
Bought it "New" and it looks like this. Not a big deal because this was bought as a replacement school library book that my kid lost. But otherwise it doesn't appear to have been opened and read. Maybe the dents and dings are from shipping but there is some sort of dirt on the front and the back seems like someone pulled off a sticker ripped the cover and tried to clean the sticky off with some sort of anti adhesive so it feels weird. Dunno if that sort of thing bothers you when purchasing brand new. Again I don't mind because I'm not buying it for anything special but if I were to buy it as a gift I'd be pretty peeved about it.

Having my son willing to read the book without me having to force him to is the best praise I can find for any
If your child likes Minecraft these books are a must. My teenage son is not a big reader, but the books by this author he has read many times and keeps asking me when the next one is coming out. He is now trying to recreate the world from the books into his Minecraft world. Having my son willing to read the book without me having to force him to is the best praise I can find for any book

The Jungle Temple Oracle
I am a fourth grader named Lyla and I really recommend this book because it is full of imagination and Herobrine's monsters. On the quest through the treacherous jungle, Gameknight999, Monet113, and their NPC friend's, no, family have to battle huge waves of monsters Herobrine sent, including the spider queen and Herobrine, the Maker, himself. Does Gameknight and his impulsive sister have what it takes to meet the great Oracle and face Herobrine's bright, white, glowing eyes?

Well...
In my opinion, i think mark is just trying to STRETCH the chapters out TOO much. And, also i think he talks about how SCARED Gameknight is WAY to much, for example: dought flooded gameknights mind and made him want to curl up and cry, but then i voice filled his head saying focus on the now, not the what if. Then strenght filled him as he rised up to attack his enemy. And it keeps on talking and talking about what he is thinking, and he thinks all of those things just to be defeated and almost KILLED over and over again he thinks that. And one more thing, i think that there should be some MORE action to tbe storie because the chapters are basicly talking about thoughts and the books kinda got silly after the 2nd book called the nether king or something. but its still a good minecraft book but, as i've said, needs some more ACTION to it all.
