I'll start with a word of warning. The package is HEAVY! Upon opening, it was simple enough to set up (instructions are supplied but vague) and it is quiet obvious where things go. The package contains: The main jack. Two pole sections for lifting operations 1 Circular pad base (removable) 1 Lock Bar 1 Grub Screw for securing lifting handle. I tested this out on my Audi A4 Quattro. After locating the jacking point on the car, I inserted the extra circular pad base, manoeuvred the jack into position (which despite its weight, is very easy with the fitted wheels), tightened the bleed screw and pumped the lifting bar. This was also easy when compared to smaller trolley jacks I've used. Lifting the car was very easy and the jack stayed stable throughout. In the demo video I have included I did not fit the locking bar as I was not working under the car. For such purposes that require you to get under the car, it is advised to make use of the safety locking bar to ensure safety in the event of hydraulic failure with the jack. Releasing the jack was equally simple. Slightly raise the pump/release bar and twist anti-clockwise. The car drops steadily and the jack is released so you can remove it from under the car. A quick check over the jack showed that there were no hydraulic leaks and everything was in order. One thing I will point out though is that you will be limited with getting the jack under some cars. I tried it under my Nissan 370z GT and it wouldn't go under the car at all. Stowing the jack away until you next need it is aided by the ability to remove the pump bar by means of undoing the grub screw that secures it during use. This allowed me to store the jack away neatly in the corner of my garage when it takes up little room. Overall, I am impressed with the jack and it's construction. Ease of use is far superior to my older trolley jack and the knowledge that it can life 2 tons AND it has a 12 month guarantee give me peace of mind. Very pleased.

Yes it is "Heavy Duty". As mentioned in other reviews get it delivered to where you are using it, otherwise its a wo man job to lift while it is still in the box or just remove it from the box it comes in and wheel it. No assembly required just insert the handle and away you go. The handle can be fixed ito place with a very hefty screw making it easier to move around. The only issue is where to put the supporting bar when it is not in use. Small problem nothing major that effects it's performance. I have used this on both cars and a motorcycle and have had no issues wha so ever. It folds down flat so is easy store under a bench. Over all a great jack that will lift everything I need it to.

Wow...heavy duty car lift. This is a 2 ton capacity, power built triple lift. For any car or motorcycle. This jack, easily lifts cars, trucks, & motorcycles, It is great for working on, removing & replacing vehicle transmissions & differentials. It is compact. It has great castors for easily moving the jack into position. It folds down neatly to fit into a small space.

It should be obvious to most people, but note that this jack is very heavy, so we’d advise getting the box delivered where you intend to unpack it. Out of the box, assembly is a simple matter of fitting together and fitting the handle. The jack moves on solid metal wheels, the front two of which rotate for steering. It manoeuvres easily around a flat concrete surface, but it is almost immoveable on soil or gravel surfaces. It’s not the lowest jack in the world, and it just fitting beneath a Mazda MX5 sports car. That said, this is a heavy duty jack capable of lifting 4000Lb, so our test vehicle was not exactly the ideal. The pad on the top has a rubber tread surface that doesn’t yield under weight, so means you don’t need to put a piece of wood on top to protect the vehicle. Jacking up is a matter of working the handle up and down, with the jack rising a couple of inches with each cycle. There is a locking bar, which can be pushed through the jack to guard against sudden failure. The jack list a car with no problem at all. You just need some muscle to shove the jack around the floor. Lowering the jack is a matter of twisting the handle anticlockwise to release the pressure. We found it difficult to lower the jack gently. There is very little movement between gentle descent and sudden drop. That’s not great. For example, we were lowering the vehicle onto wooden blocks, but it was difficult to get the car to come down slowly to prevent the vehicle making a cash landing on the blocks. Now this is with a sports car. With a lorry on top of the jack, I’d be a bit concerned about that coming down a bit too quickly. This is a big meaty jack for the money. It is very solidly built, and sits very stably under load. Our only minor gripe is in lowering the jack.

Having unpacked the jack, it was found to be twisted and on level ground it wouldn't sit squarely on its four wheels. On first use. the rubber pad on the saddle came off. it wasn't glued on securely. On second use, having removed the saddle in order to use the square frame to jack up a chassis member, the rubber pads on the square frame split into two parts and fell off. I discussed this with the guy on their stand at the NEC Classic Car Show, he wasn't interested! Further to my previous review, the jack eventually failed completely because the cogs operating the hydraulic valve failed. The good news! I took it back to the suppliers and they changed it for a different model without question.

The height is the same as a 2 ton floor jack available anywhere, however, the stability is far, far better than and rolling floor jack. I used the jack to pull the transfer case and transmission from a 4x4 Silverado with only a leveling kit on board, while the truck was sitting on all four wheels. Smooth, easy operation

Changed wheels on a Chrysler 300 yesterday, it lifted the car easily and with fewer pumps than with a smaller regular hydraulic jack that I've been using for years. Much more stable than the regular smaller ones. I didn't get to use it on my motorcycles yet,which is the reason I bought it, but should lift a Road King & Heritage Softail with ease also. The rubber pad for lifting cars/trucks ensures no marks on jack points for autos. Very pleased!!!
