FONDX Fondant, Vanilla Flavor, Baby Blue, 2 lb

Arrived fast!! Packaged great!! The quality was exceptional, fresh, flavorful, easy to work with, held color well. Rolled out smoothly. No cracks when dried. Definitely recommend. I will buy again. This is my new favorite fondant!!

I've purchased pre-made fondants before and while they are easy to work with, they taste terrible. This fondant FONDX is both tasty (subtle vanilla flavor) and really easy to use. I bought white so that I can have the option to color. A few drops of gel food coloring and a little bit of kneading to mix the color in and the fondant was still malleable. I've also added other flavoring like orange, almond, or more vanilla to make the fondant taste pop.

First time using from this company. I hate covering cakes in fondant but this by far was the easiest to use over any that I had before. Had a few issues tearing at the bottom when I was trying to get the elephant skin out but I chalked that up to not doing it often and when I rolled the fondant wasn’t completely even - so user error.

I know everybody has their preference of the product they like , but I really I'm not looking forward to use this fondant. I would not recommend it for a beginner as well. the fondant is kind of sticky when you try to manipulate it you have to use a lot of cornstarch in order for you to be able to do it right. It tastes good it smells good but when I try to cut sharp shapes out of that fondant they usually stick to my cutters. I have used this fondant very successfully for cutting things out that they need fast drying although I have to leave the fondant to dry a little but itself before cutting Anythink to get the sharp edges that I need. The advantage of that fondant is that it dries relatively quickly and it turns hard Acid Rock. You can airbrush it after it dries and I have beautiful results out of it. Still I would not completely swap my other brand satin ice for covering the cakes and more detailed work. Overall it's a good product just a little stickier than what I would like to work with.

Love how easy this fondant is to work with. Super easy to maneuver. Clients have said the taste is good. I will take their word as im not a fan of eating fondant.. i use for covering cakes and decorating treats. Firms up well. It is a more expensive brand and therefore i recommend more seasoned cake decorator and treat makers use because it is a more expensive fondant.

A pleasant flavor, and wonderfully rich color. I bought green and black to decorate a cake as a card table for my nephews birthday. The effect was great!

Was my 8 year olds first experience of using fondant. Didn’t require a bunch of kneading to get to useable consistency. Wasn’t sticky and easy to use with minimal effort. Color was great and tastes like regular fondant.

The taste is ok, but its difficult to work with. The product dries out very fast, even when properly stored. I was recommended to try renshaw, and found it to be a lot superior to work with. This fondant was a good starting ground.
