To germinate your seeds. Be patient. They are spectacular plants.
1.Place the seeds in a sealable sandwich bag filled with moist perlite. Store them in the refrigerator for two months.2Sow the arctic kiwi seeds after the chilling period has ended. Fill 4-inch plastic pots with moistened, sterilized potting soil mix. Scatter three or four seeds onto the soil of each pot. Cover them with a 1/8-inch-thick layer of soil.3Cover the pots with plastic wrap to keep the soil moist. Place the pots outdoors on a bright porch or inside a lightly shaded cold frame. Warm the pots to 75 degrees Fahrenheit using a propagation mat, if ambient temperatures stay below 60 F.4Maintain light, and constant moisture in the top inch of soil, during the germination process. Avoid overwatering. Watch for the first arctic kiwi seedlings in two to three months. Thin the plants to one per pot once they produce a set of mature leaves.5Grow the arctic kiwi vines in a bright, sheltered location during their first summer. Provide one to two inches of water each week. Acclimate them to direct sun in late summer. Transplant them into a permanent bed in autumn.
