Presto Dehydro Electric Food Dehydrator, 6 trays, white and black

This dehydrator has quite a noisy fan, so it's best used on the porch or in garage. I used my Presto dehydrator about 5 times over the course of a year. But just after the warranty expired, so did the heating element. The fan works, but if you can't heat your herbs or fruit, there's no point in running it. I'd purchased extra silicone sheets and screens, which luckily fit on my 40-year-old dehydrator of another brand. I had to transfer all the food that was not dehydrating to my old machine. Bottom line, I'm not buying a Presto machine again. Save your money for a better brand.

Nice product and easy use and store. I didn’t need something bulky or complicated and this fits the bill perfectly. So far, I’ve already dried some veggies to store for a rainy day. AND I made a large batch of homemade jerky, which if purchased would have cost mot than this dehydrator. Other that the electricity to run it, from here one out, dehydrating is at no cost. Best of all, I have food for travel, hiking and emergencies available.

I had previously bought just one and now this is my second. I have two running at the same time, they are easy to use and an awesome dehydrator. I bought a more expensive one at first for 3x the price of this and the Presto works better than the expensive one that I purchased. This is an awesome product and I usually dont leave reviews.

I really like all the controls, the trays are nice and big, comes with everything you need. easy to operate I received it today 8/8 and had it up and running in 15min. I think it was well worth the money.I just want to say the fan or drying part is a little loud, but I put mine in the garage on top of my clothes dryer perfectly. I would recommend this Presto Dehydrator to anyone who asks.Very Very Happy!

Bought this product to make beef jerky at home with the kids. It works very well, and clean up is easy. I just wish it was a little quieter. I just put it in the basement when its running.

The timer is a must have for me. I used it the first time on persimmons. Cut the recommended 1/4 inch. I checked at 6 hours and it was done at 8. It’s a little noisy with the fan, but no worse than turning on the dishwasher.

I bought this to dehydrate some of the bumper crop of apples I had this year. The trays are easy to load and the temperature and time settings in the instruction manual produced perfect results. Cleaning up was very easy and the trays store compactly together taking less storage space than my previous dehydrator.

Bought this last year for deer season. Used it one time last year and one time this year and it just randomly quit working! Not very pleased

This dehydrator is very easy to use and does an excellent job. I use it to dry my fines herbs. Unlike many others brands, the dehydrator dries with heat. Dry very well. The trays are nice and big. The digital temperature control is very easy to use. It makes noise when it dries but I put it in a separate room. Highly recommend this product.

It does what it needs to at a fantastic price. Now I don't have to wait weeks to dry my herbs upside down.Ps: Yeah, it's a bit noisy. I mean, it's a fan which dries out your food with hot air. What did you expect?

Nous avons fait l'achat de ce déshydrateur pour conserver fruits et viandes (jerky). Il fonctionne très bien et rencontre nos objectifs. Très satisfait et le rangement est facilité car le volume peut-être diminué en plaçant les trays un dans l'autre. De plus, le fils de connection disparaît sous l'appareil pour le rangement.

This dehydrator is very easy to use and does a great job. I use it to dry my green plantain then turn it into flour for porridge and African fufu. Drys very well. Highly recommend.

Works great , now I can make my own when I want to and be certain that it is done right and cost effective.
