This is false advertising. This is basically xylitol and they make you think that it's kabocha. Buy a kabocha squash, they aren't sweet. This sugar is xylitol extracted from kabocha! It's more expensive xylitol. I made the mistake of thinking it was pure kabocha. I was sharing with my dog now i'm horrified to see the bag says xylitol on it which it didn't before. Fraud! Dangerous to your dog!

The overwhelming majority of users will not experience any gastrointestinal negative effects from consumption of Bochasweet. However a small number of people who consume high glycemic sweeteners such as HFCS or cane sugar in their daily diet could experience some initial gastric negativity. Since everyone is different the degree of gastrointestinal effect will most likely differentiate from mild to uncomfortable. Sugar alcohols are a low or zero glycemic alternative to HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) cane sugar, honey, agave, etc  and therefore should be used as the primary sweetener for a diabetic or ketogenic diet. If someone chooses to consume high glycemic sweeteners in their daily diet while using a sugar alcohol simultaneously, that ill-advised mix could give the unfavorable results in a small percentage of consumers
