No. Friction hinge fit, however nicely manufactured and not loosened over one years usage! Still performing as if new!

Do these darken while you are driving a non-convertible or motorcycle even that windshields block the UV light?

They do darken somewhat, the Yellow tint is Greyed out. They will remain that color until you either get into Full Sun or Shade.

Are they full frame or half?

The frame is along the top. See pictures posted by one of the reviewers. The bottom of the lenses are frameless.
