The first time I purchased these was during Covid. I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised with the look and quality of this product. Fast forward to August of 2025, I am purchasing another set to put around the perimeter of my backyard, this is in addition to the previous set. The torches from 2020 have been working every evening and I have not had any issues. None of them have broken or stopped flickering and they have withstood 107 degree heat, as well as rain and wind. Definitely a quality product that I highly recommend!

Good quality, durable, my yard is mostly shade, but it charges enough to last till midnight or a little later. Met my expectation. Flame look is nice.

These lights are of very good quality and the size is larger than most, just what I needed for my patio. The look ver lifelike and have just the right amount of brightnes. They just went through 50 mile an hour winds and a hail storm and weren't harmed at all so they are very sturdy. After a sunny day, they stay lit until well past midnight.

Had these more than six months and they are fantastic. They look real and are consistently bright and last all night and look exactly like flickering fire. Buy them you want regret it.

I’ve had these Tomcare solar lights for 2 years now, and 3 of the 4 are still working normally. The 4th has a problem with the switch, where it won’t stay on; if you physically hold the button down, it will light up, but as soon as you let go, it turns off. I’m guessing something mechanical in the button, that locks the switch in the on position, has broken. Too bad because the light still works, otherwise. I’m tempted to open it up, to see if I can find a way to permanently complete the circuit, since I never turn these off, anyway.The lights are very nice, with a very realistic appearing “dancing flame.” I wish they were a little brighter, though, as they don’t cast light on the surrounding environment like a real flame; in the dark, you kind of only see the lights, without much of a surrounding glow. Another improvement would be to add a randomizer to the dancing pattern, as if you stare at the lights for a few seconds, you’ll begin to notice the repeating pattern of the flicker.These are the best LED torch lights I’ve found so far, and may buy another set, although the long term durability is a question.Tomcare, if you’re listening, here’s a suggestion that would take your lights to the next level: incorporate an ultrasonic mister in the top of the unit, with up firing LEDs. This would create a realistic glow and smoke effect to complete the realism! On party nights, the user would just add some distilled water to “fuel” the effect. Only downside is that the solar panel would need to be relocated, perhaps to an external unit with a larger battery.

Unlike so many cheap ChiCom solar lights that fizzle out in a matter of months, these have lasted me well over a year, probably close to 2 years and still work great. They look cool, they last and that’s really all that needs to be said. Recommended.
