Core i7-2620M SR03F 2.7GHz 4MB Dual-core Mobile CPU Processor Socket G2 988-pin

(Sorry for the delay in writing this.) I love my laptop but for one thing. The CPU. It's was an Intel B960 dual core with Intel HD graphics built into the chip.. Slow. For the most part it did everything I want too. On the upside, it has expansion capabilities most laptops don't. On is the cpu. The CPU in my laptop is actually in a socket, not hard mounted on the board. This i7 is one of the cpu's that can replace it. It's faster and unlike the B960 also supports Intel Turbo Boost and comes with the Intel HD3000 graphics chipset. More over, although this cpu is a dual core, each core itself acts like a dual core, making this chip appear and act like a quad. The best thing of all, it has the same power and thermal properties has the B960. My w7 laptop now out performs my w8.1 desktop and comes close to my custom built w7 with an AMD Phenon II 6core. Worth every time I paid for it.

It's a nice upgrade for an old Lenovo b470e which had a Pentium B940. The package was shipped not very elegant (Inside a plastic box and wrapped with bubble protection). However, it works and now i have a "new" laptop.

I upgrade from a i3 to this processor and i'm really happy with this, works good and i did not have any problems

Well. Took old i3 CPU out. Put this CPU in. Everything works as it should..

Worked fine, not much else to say.

ThinkPad E410のＣＰＵ換装用（元：Celeron）に購入 E410のCPUソケットはPPGA988なのでそれほど苦労なく換装ができ、動作も安定しています 因みに、この2620Mはターボブースト時に3.4GHzになるということで、コントロールパネル上ではベースクロック2.7GHzになりますので注意

HP dv6-6117tuのノートPCがCore i3 だったので、少しでもCPUを上げようと思って購入し、 換装しましたが、うーん。。あまり性能が上がったという感じがしない。なぜだろう、、、
