It is a little on the goopy side, so you need to be careful with your application, but. it is very good! I used it to put a protective coating over my splices and lock stitched whippings to seal everything! it works very well, probably the best thing you could use on synthetic ropes! I am impressed with the end result. remember though,, several thin coats, not one heavy coat!

this is a great product for rope that doesn’t melt. i am doing some work with yacht/sail line and whipping the end with twine would have left me with a little puff ball because it doesn’t melt. i wrapped a piece of electrical tape right above where i wanted the end to be…so this product wouldn’t go above that point when i dipped it. i had to dip the end several times (to get the “hardness” i wanted) but the result was a end that held together and looked good. highly recommend!

good product. I love when a product does what it is supposed to do. I have used it with diff. types of rope and many leather projects, have had very satisfying (great) results, diff. colors are great for crafts, no more frayed ends. I also use it to secure leather and rope windings, works Great !!!

As the instructions note, your rope will require multiple layers. I didn't really understand that until Day Two. The stuff is runnier than I thought it would be and takes a LOT to build up.
