Ontel Armor Nail Gel, Pink, 0.45 Fl Oz, As Seen on TV

This product is excellent! A friend mentioned it, and I was glad to find it on Amazon. The first time I used it, it went on easily and stay on all week! I usually break several nails every week - with just 2 coats of this product on, no broken fingernails! YAY! When I removed it one week later, it came off much easier than I expected and I appreciated that. I then put on 2 new coats, and so far, so good. It makes my nails feel MUCH stronger and again, so far, no broken nails. Update: I've been using this product for over a month now - NO BROKEN nails~!!! It's actually making my thin, brittle nails stronger! YAY!

I don't remember if I've written a review of this stuff before, but I've been using it for at least a decade! It's so SHINY, dries almost instantly. Is a great base coat and then after applying a color, it's a great top coat. Gives a slight pink shine. Definitely makes my nails grow FAST. I can't say how much I love this stuff. There are so many other polishes out there that claim to shine and be nutritious for your nails, and I've ordered them all, but this one far exceeds everything else I've tried. Wear on bare nails, or like I said, wear with color. It's a perfect polish. Don't know why I don't see more advt for it because I'd be screaming from the mountain tops how great it is!

A year away from the big 6-0 and my nails have weakened, splitting easily. I stopped wearing acrylic nails 10 years ago after wearing them for about 15 years. While my nails were damaged when I stopped, most of that damage was gone in about a year. About 2 years ago, nail polish began peeling and chipping off the day after I applied it, completely off most nails within 4 days. I have recently been using the alcohol wipes to clean off any oils prior to applying polish and that has extended my polish wear by a day or two. I prefer to wear clear/clear-pink polish, but have been unable to find the darker pink tinted, clear polish in my area. I saw the Pink Armor and decided to give it a try. I washed my hands thoroughly, leaving them to air dry for at least 15 minutes, then applied the first coat. It did dry quickly, but I still waited about 10 minutes before applying the second coat. I then let that dry for two hours before putting my hands in any water. The next day I applied a third coat and allowed that to dry 15 minutes before using my hands. Two days later, the polish is still fully intact...no peeling or chipping. The color is not exactly what I expected. Under medium indoor lighting, my nails look healthy...natural looking pink nails with brighter white tips. But under bright lights and sunshine (I live in Arizona!), the pink color is a weird, almost neon pinkish lavender with really bright white tips...kinda takes away the "natural healthy" look. So I give it a 5 star for staying on my nails where other polishes won't, a 5 because my nails do look better, and a 3 for the color. While I do agree the price is very HIGH, it doesn't affect the performance of the product, so it does not affect my rating. UPDATE: Okay, I've been wearing this for about 2 weeks now, and for me, I do like this polish over others I've tried recently. The first week, the tips began peeling a little on day four so I added another coat...problem solved. On day eight, I removed the polish easily, and again painted two coats as described above. For the past week, I've added another coat every other day, and I've had no problem with peeling, chipping, etc. I've also noticed my nails do look better, and seem to be stronger. No breaking, splitting, or bending easily as before.

I have very weak nails. They constantly bend and then break. With Armor Nail Gel that does not happen. Two light coats actually make my nails so much stronger, and they never break when I'm wearing the gel. It has a very faint pink tint, which makes the finished nail look more natural and healthy, with a clear polish. A third coat would give a little more of a pinkish look. I have used this product for the past 25 years and I love it!f I keep 2-3 bottles in stock at all times so I don't run out. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, especially those who have weak nails, as I have.

I’ve been buying this for a couple of years and now I can’t get it bc they won’t ship here due to hazardous materials in the product. It works great to keep my nails strong and growing but I Hope I haven’t been introducing hazardous chemicals into my body.

Pink Armor Nail Gel in clear color, despite being inside the bottle looking pink. I love this nail clear base/top coat. I use it as a top coat. If I have sticker decals on my nails, then I usually put 2 coats on and 3 coats for jewels. It takes a while to dry. It almost seems as still wet, so you have to be careful for about 24 hours to prevent dings in polish. It's dry to the touch in about 5 minutes with no lamp, but underneath isn't dry and easily finds it scrapes off. So, just be careful if you want to your nails pristine, as we all do. It's worth the wait! It keeps my polish shiny and looking brand new. I used to only use Sally Hansen Advanced Strengthening top coat, but it would dull after about 5-7 days, depending on hand washing frequency, washing dishes without gloves, and using gloves while using cleaning agents in your home or similar. This polish stays looking shiny, which I love! The bottle has lasted 3 months, changing polish 1x per week/2 weeks on average, with 2 coats on fingers and 1 coat on toenails with sandals. The polish comes off easily with acetone- based remover. My recommendation: Purchase this product, preferably on about 2 months subscription refill time! Purchase! I promise you can deal with the drying time.

Really impressed with this strengthener so far. It is easy to apply and makes the nails feel instantly stronger as it seems to put like a thick coating over them but it is hardly visible, it looks like naturally shiny, healthy nails. It dries really quickly and you can apply more coats if you want to; I tend to apply 2 coats right away and then another on after a few days. It says to remove it after a week and so I did that but there was no signs of wear on the nail enamel at all, no chips or peels :-O, so I think that you could get away with doing it less often. I haven't tried putting nail enamel over the top yet so I don't know if it will make my full manicure last longer but I'm hoping it will. The colour is so natural that I think that it will look particularly lovely as a French manicure :-D.

I was very sceptical about the claims this product made but being as my nails were becoming so weak and broken, I thought I'd give it a try. My doubts about this product were unfounded, it actually works!!! The difference it has made to my nails in only a couple of weeks is amazing, they now feel strong and are beginning to look good. The name is very appropriate as it is like an armour protecting your nails, and you can even put normal nail polish over it. So pleased I tried it, and the bottle is large enough for it to last ages with just one treatment a week.
