Manufacturer and Distributor Customer Service Nonexistant for Warranty Issues - Buy Another Brand
We purchased the Havana Twin Seat Glider Bench thinking that it's UK manufacture and incorporated headrest would be a better quality and design than the other bench gliders we can purchase for around the same price at our large home-improvement retailers in the US. While the frame design is very sturdy and the seat design ergonomically supportive/comfortable, the fabric tension is poor. It took two people about 30 minutes to assemble the glider bench, which was made easy because the factory assembles the seat section. However, our major issue is that the seat-back fabric is wavy and the seat-bottom fabric has a large dip on one side when the fabric should be smooth and taught. I verified that all the machine screws are properly fastened, but the sags/waves remain. I have tried to receive help from the manufacturer and distributor to no avail. I typed in the URL for factory support listed in the instructions, and the website no longer exists. I went on the distributor's website and found an email address for warranty parts, but it's been four weeks since I wrote the company about the fabric issue and I haven't received a reply. I emailed the distributor directly, but it's been two weeks and no reply. Aside from the fabric, the dog-bone pivot arms that create the gliding/rocking motion are made of a thick, hard plastic with ball bearings. We love the ball-bearing movement, but we're concerned about the longevity of the plastic. These arms hold the entire weight of the seat, so metal would be a better design because plastic will likely fail after years of use. Basically, we are in a position where we either keep the glider bench with its seat flaw and suspicious pivot-arm design and hope the fabric doesn't get worse and the pivot arms don't break, or we return the item to the seller. If the fabric weren't an issue and/or if we actually received any type of customer service for warranty issues, we would keep the bench glider in a heartbeat. However, with no response from neither the manufacturer nor the distributor, we are not pleased with this bench glider.

This glider style seat is so much better than the traditional "A" frame swing seat it was purchased to replace. It is so much easier to move and store, the main reason our old swing seat needed replacing was because we were never able to cover or store it adequately over winter, this glider seat is easily moved around the garden whenever we want and is so easy to just lift it into the shed in winter. It takes up a lot less room on the patio than the old swing yet the seating area is bigger. It is much easier to get on and off than the swing was and the high back makes it very comfortable. It has a nice gentle rocking motion which is so relaxing. It took about an hour and a half for two of us to put together, but it wasn't difficult we just took our time. It's well manufactured and once built it feels very solid and safe. I like that they also provide little plastic covers in the same colour as the frame to go over the screw heads. Well worth the money.

Seems well made and is comfortable, assembly a bit fiddly as the instructions aren't great. I assembled it on my own assisted by some blocks of wood but 2 people would be better. Tips: assembly stage 5 is not an instruction on its own it is part of stage 6 and is to put the spacers (H) between the armrest holes and the seat holes the sequence being, push bolt X through the armrest hole then through the spacer then through the hole under the seat then a washer and nut and a nut cover. Make sure you put the armrest on the right way, I can only explain this is to put the hollow side facing outwards. And, leave the nuts bolts etc in the pack until you need them. Good luck, it's a very nice, relaxing seat.

Fantastic product, great price, well packaged delivered by curteous delivery driver as per tracking details. The chair was assembled in half an hour by my nephew as I am in bad health. The colour is even better up close and I prefer it to the previous glider it replaces in black, which due to the fact it was left out for 6yrs in all weathers and not covered up to protect it I think I more than got my money's worth. It is the most comfortable garden chair that I have had over the years and I spend quite a lot of time in it as I can't do very much else these days. More often than not the glidiing motion sends me off to sleep (pity they don't do an indoor version to put in my bedroom). I highly recommend this quality product the customer service is outstanding and the great price it is available for, which is considerably less than the previous version including the p&p.

Though it was hard and lengthy to assemble (instructions also not very clear), we were initially very happy with this seat, once it was built. It is comfy and glides smoothly, it is easy to keep clean and it is light enough to move easily to various parts of the garden, it has a small footprint so takes up minimal space (compared to a full garden swing bench for example) and it is really quite cheap! However, one year on and a key hinge has broken. It has snapped off so we cannot fix it. We havenโt used it heavily nor treated it badly. This has rendered the seat entirely unusable. Therefore I would say that it is a seat for one season, in which case the cheap price is less enticing. If you want a bit of garden furniture to last, Iโd suggest to invest in a sturdier option

This bench is sagging on the seat after only a few weeks of use, don't Believe this will stand the test of time. We bought a bench very similar to this one 12 years ago from a local garden centre Which was left outside in all weathers and used almost every day. It started to deteriorate in its 12th year so we looked for a replacement. This looks identical but not of the same quality
