I received my order today and the lid wasn’t sealed , should I return it or is it ok to consume?

I wouldn’t use anything if the lid wasn’t sealed.

Is there shellfish in this??

As far as I can tell there is no shellfish in this product. The fish are baby ice fish. It is a delicious product! When I run out I will order more!

Do I need to refrigerate after opening?

I refrigerate mine after opening. Since it does have small fish in it, I would rather be safe than sorry. Hope this helps!

How long does this product last after opening?

As long as you refrigerate after opening and adding some oil it should keep for a long time. When you take it out of the refrigerator leave it out until it becomes liquidity. After that if you still have more left again, add a little oil and refrigerate.

Delicious, and mildly spicy

I heard about it, and had to try it. I can take a lot of heat, but generally prefer things only in the 1000-10,000 Scoville Unit region. This seems to be near the bottom of that range. Very nice!

I bought this just out of curiosity, and now I’m at a point where I can’t imagine living without it. I wish I could buy this in stores in the U.S. Not like eating anchovies in my opinion. Very well balanced and a nice little bit spice. This is my favorite product from this company.
