Drops seeds everywhere!
I love the fact this bird feeder is plastic, because my last metal one rusted in the rain; this one won't.However, there are holes all the way around, in the base/tray part that's meant to collect the seeds as they come down from the feeder...This design is not great - I would prefer it if there were no holes on this base tray part, so the seeds remain in the tray, instead of falling through the holes, all over the ground. So, it's a very messy feeder & wastes most of your bird seeds, as they fall through the holes onto the floor.

... bought several of these feeders as the birds really like them, BUT
Have bought several of these feeders as the birds really like them, BUT, two came without the top cover and had to be returned. The last one came in pieces and I had to glue the clear plastic sides together. The top lid fits so loose that a good wind blows it off. Also, they are boxed in a package that is smaller than the feeder itself, and come with the top lid distorted. Very disappointed since these are Made in U.S.A. by Artline.

... about it's longevity but so far it's hanging and pretty solid.
Flimsy plastic and I wonder about it's longevity but so far it's hanging and pretty solid.

If you fill it, they will come!
Very easy to fill. Looks really cute and decorative. Holds 3 pounds of seed with no leakage or mess. Birds can feed from all sides and it supports multiple birds' weights without spilling any seed.

Plastic and easy to break
Feeder was a nice size and held a lot of seed. Unfortunately, husband broke it the first time he filled it. Not good for use by bull-in-china-shop types as it is plastic. I'm guessing that it would have broken anyway once we got our first really cold winter day.
