Torchbearer Garlic Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce, 142ml

This is absolutely my favourite hot sauce. It is hot but not overwhelmingly so, which means you can use plenty of it without destroying the flavour of your food. It has a great, punchy element of garlic to it, with the reaper coming in after the garlic. I use this all the time and even do things like mixing it with mayo for people who don't like spice because the flavour is so good. I would also say it's pretty middle of the road in terms of thickness, not mash thick but certainly not thin either. I try so many hot sauces, and like a broad range, but this is one that's always in the fridge. I should say it does have a tendency to separate so give it a good shake before use to allow it to recover its brown/orange colour. I've had no issues with longevity and I certainly always finish the bottle before there's any chance of the sauce going bad.

Really freakin’ spicy! Was worried it wouldn’t be spicy enough after reading some of the reviews but it’s perfect for me. It’s very hot but a tolerable, enjoyable heat. And it has so much flavour too - really impressed with this sauce. Wasn’t as spicy coming out as it was going in, so that was a nice surprise!

This hot sauce is spicy and it is made with current hottest chilli peppers in world The Carolina Reaper so please treat it with a bit of caution and respect. This sauce slightly sweet, tangy, spicy and is packed full of garlic flavour. You can add this to loads of different kinds of sauces, stews, pasta to add a bit of a kick. It is amazing in burger sauce it will liven up any kind of dish it goes well with chicken, steaks, pork you can make a marinade with it for a barbecue overall and extremely tasty, spicy versatile hot sauce that you could eat with almost anything.

I've wanted to try a hot sauce from the YouTube show Hot Ones for a while, and came across this one on Amazon. I picked it because I love garlic in everything, and I think most (if not all) of the sauces are sold in America primarily? This was #7 of the 10 hot sauces in season 8 and is 116,000 on the Scoville Scale for anyone wondering. The sauce has a bright orange colour, with a fairly liquidy consistency. The flavour tastes garlicky, but something else in it seems to compete with it. I want to say it's a smoky type of flavour, but maybe it's just the taste of the Carolina reaper pepper because apparently there aren't any smoke notes. As for the heat, it's fairly hot - the type of heat that will stay on your lips and gums for a few minutes. If you're looking for heat, this will give you it temporarily. I've been using it on my veggie burgers, but I'm also going to try it in my homemade veggie curry at some point. I'm getting used to the flavour, but I will probably branch out to others.

I bought this expecting a similar heat level to Encona Carolina Reaper sauce. I was wrong. This is a proper reaper sauce; the heat is immediate, long-lasting, powerful and cleansing. The sauce itself has a really nice taste but the heat also amplifies other flavours. Be cautious if you're not experienced but be brave and give it a go.

I can taste the garlic somewhat but it isnt as hot as i thought it would be. Looking at the scoville units its listed as 116,000 scovilles which is ok but its not going anything to get excited about. Value wise fairy expensive for what it is. Will finish it but you probably need 1/4 bottle per plate to get some heat. There ar emuch hotter reaper products out there around 1.2 million scovilles which is my preferred breakfast sauce.

I love this sauce ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have always loved super duper spicy hot food stuffs. And upon seeing this on the show "Hot one's" I immediately ordered the sauce and boy-oh-boy was I impressed. . . it tastes amazing. The garlic content is pretty decent aswell, so it has a really sweet initial taste and then BOOOM!!! Your face melts off of your skull by the tongue. Top marks from me 💖💖💖💖

Hotter than any Hot ones sauce by a long way

Perfect level of heat for chasing the dragon without going overboard, and actually pretty good flavor for a sauce of this heat level.

Heat hits you immediately, not too spicy but a lot of flavor. I recommend giving it a try!

Very very very hot! The sauce is very pale which made me think it was going to be a flavour over heat kind of sauce. While very flavourful, don't be deceived into dumping it on your pizza - it is SO spicy!!!!

This is currently one of my top 2 hot sauces. Okay, it's actually my number one now that I think about it. I haven't used any others in my kitchen in months. It is very HOT and you only need a tiny drop or two for heat and flavor. Depending on personal preference. I can eat spicy food, but this is HOT...and I love it. The garlic flavor and heat is top notch. I'm addicted to this. It's great on meats, rice, mix in with homemade dips, soups, etc. I hope this never gets discontinued. This smells good, tastes good and has a good *shelf life* but not as long as regular grocery store hot sauces that my be good for 2 years for example. **Note that this needs to be refrigerated after opening.

This is the absolute best garlic hot sauce. Nothing comes close. It's a thicker, smoother consistency so be careful on the pour because it has a very high heat level. There is no other hot sauce like it when it comes to capturing that garlic flavor, almost as if the pureed batches to make it. Absolute must buy.
