This stand is SO awesome! I bought it to use in bed so I wasn't going to bed with a kinked neck every night. I LOVE it! I do have an older, pretty small kindle. I feel like the clamps to hold it are pretty strong. I actually keep my kindle case on while holding it with this and it is great. It only falls if I knock it really hard or forget it is there and hit it with my head. Haha. I have used it for my phone too - just great. I also move it around the house if I need to read in another room. This is saving my neck and arms.Lazy? NO! Brilliant? YES!

This is a really nice stand. It’s well constructed and pretty sturdy. I like that it’s not too heavy and can be moved easily.It holds my iPad 10 inch pro with ease as well as my Nook for pain free easy viewing and swings away without effort.What I like even better is the stand base is thin enough to slip nicely under my chair.I absolutely love cuddling up in my Lazyboy with a good book. This stand makes it more enjoyable as it’s hands free so I can enjoy a nice hot cup of Joe too.

This is a great stand for my iPad Pro. I was worried it wouldn't stay stable on the floor and couldn't hold the iPad well. But it can do a good job in fact. I can adjust the height easily , and the gooseneck is flexible. The base is quite heavy and sturdy, it doesn't shake when type. I am very impressed with the connector which behind the holder, it allows me to adjust any angles I want. Finally I can relax my neck and enjoy watching videos on iPad or use it for music in the kitchen. There are so many uses.

Bought this after reading that SAD lights work best if above your head pointing down at your eyes. I was afraid the gooseneck would droop under the weight of my SAD light. but it's very strong and sturdy. Works perfect!

Recent surgery left me temporarily unable to walk. This held my iPad and was an immense help relieving boredom! I’m having some issues with my iPad dropping downward at times, but I can make adjustments, and it tightens up. Same for the white pole connections sometimes need tightening. It gets tippy if you have angles wrong, which they address in the instructions. Glad I bought it!

I have used similar products for my Kindle Fire tablet. Found this holder to be unstable....user MUST have gooseneck lined up over center of the floor plate, or it will turn over. The floor plate is not round, and made of lightweight material which does not stabilize the unit. Yes, the gooseneck can go 360 degrees, but if you do not shift the floor plate, it just tips over when you start moving it around.

I am on my work computer all day. At night or on the weekend, I am glued to my iPad, as I can see better using it, rather than an iPhone. No more stiff neck or hurting back or arm pain! For the person that has everything, this is more of a necessity.I took a few stars off as I wish it was more stable, meaning it topples over unless you set it up just right. Balance it. I just prop it against the couch.

I never write reviews but had to for this. I was hesitant to purchase this...thought I'd regret having it sit around my place since it is not exactly small and I hate clutter. Well, no regrets! This thing is great!! I use it ALL the time. It is awesome for video calls or reading in bed. I've even used it in the kitchen for convenient viewing of online cooking videos or recipes. It is strong and sturdy enough to hold my iPhone OR iPad, yet light enough to carry from room to room when needed. It has a nice size base, yet it is flat so it can easily slide under the bed or couch. It was one of the few I considered that came in white, which I love because it is visually light and unobtrusive. The arm bends nicely. It is strong enough to stay in place but not too strong that it is difficult to maneuver. I highly recommend this item.

A sturdy and functional piece, however the clamp will not take the iPad in its protective case. It is just millimetres too small. You have to use the iPad on its own. Versatile and can be used for phone as well.
