Now THIS is a nice RC car for your kids.
I purchased this car after a major disappointment with another RC. I tested it myself before I gave it to my grandson. Here's my impressions: * Wow this thing is fast. It is almost too fast to control. The nice thing about this is there is a switch on the remote that actually limits the speed (and extends the battery life by the way). Even at this lower speed it is pretty fast and my grandson LOVED it. * The remote has trim adjustments so you don't have to go under the car. You can adjust on the fly. The trigger works like a "gas pedal" in that it is pressure sensitive. The steering took a little getting used to but he had it flying around after about 5 minutes no problem. (Now I'm old so I prefer a 2-stick controller but this is the style that you get these days... however, opinion aside, it really works well.) * The car is durable. His first hour (more on that later) playing with it he had it all over my lawn, all over the driveway, jumping off the sidewalk, slamming INTO the sidewalk... just being an 8 year old. It took all of this and practically asked for more! * The battery life is great. He ran the first battery over 30 minutes as we guesstimated it and that was impressive. I actually timed the 2nd battery just to see if we were wrong and it timed out at 38:14. VERY nice! * You'll notice I said 2nd battery. It comes with 2 batteries and 2 charging cables. On the one hand you will kill both batteries before you can charge one back up (I think it took 2-3 hours?) but, honestly, he was done playing for a while after an hour anyway. The fact that it has 2 batteries so the "time factor" doesn't limit play is amazing. * It's not a 30 dollar car but it doesn't play like one either. It's worth the money to get something durable, quick and all terrain. * The instruction manual has a complete exploded diagram of the entire car. I LOVE this since you can order a part if it breaks rather than toss the car in the trash. I would recommend this to anyone and, seriously, if you can spend the money stay away from those cheap "FaSt Rc CaRs!". This will not disappoint you nor the child getting it. It's been 6 weeks and he still uses it a lot.

Sturdy , read it!
This is one of the best RC car I have ever own. I have a 1:16 scale RC car too, compare to that one , this one is bigger, wider, longer. Bigger wheel means it can climb bigger curb/step, and it does! But the size did not affect the speed, or acceleration , it is faster than my small old one, benefit from the dual engine, give it amazing power! But this is not the thing impress me the most! Yesterday I brought it outside , drove it on my driveway toward the road. A 100 LB kid was ridding his bike fast and ran over the RC car in the middle, I would never think it will still working, but it does, YES , after the two wheels on the bike ran over it with the weight of the kid, it did not break, only some scratch in the bottom, all I have to do was pushed the plastic top back to its shape! I did not purchase the warrantee , if it breaks, I donโt think the seller will replace it for me for this reason. But I donโt have to worry about that now! Very very sturdy! 5 star for this. It runs on grass, rocks, dirts, sands, everywhere๏ผ with 2 pack of battery , I can have about 20-30 mins of fun, with my kid racing each other. I donโt want to play more than that time cos the engine gets hot after 15 mins of continuously playing , I suggest you do that too!

Fun but a fair amount of work
Very fun rc truck. Very fast but I donโt think its 30mph. I bought 2 of these, one being the Hosim 9125 which is identical to this. My son and I run them outside and we have a lot of fun. They do break a lot. But parts are fairly cheap and for the most part easy to replace. If you donโt mind spending some time working on them then this is a good purchase for you. The front and rear differentials go out about once a month (weโve been using them for 3 months). The rear diff has been the most time consuming and expensive part to replace (about 30 minutes your second time) because there are 20 screws to undo. When parts break, I buy in bulk because I know the other truck will break too, and that has proven to be true. Parts from their website take awhile because they come from China, but the price is right. Parts that fail, besides the differentials (zj06), are the front steering cup (sj10)/lower arm (sj08) they pop out of socket, which a ziptie can keep them in place, wheel hub attachment (zj09/wj04). Wheels because the motors are so powerful they actually strip out the plastic hub where the dogbone attaches the wheel. Check the lugs, they work loose. I think the Hosim truck is better because that comes with oil shocks which are so much better, these are air and they are very loud and squeaky, and donโt work great when its wet out. But they can be upgraded for around $27. Basically its a fun truck but the parts canโt keep up the power.

Loving our first RC truck
I got this for my 15 year old for Christmas. Of course, in his true fashion, he decided at the last minute that he wanted a RC vehicle. His buddy has a couple and they've been playing with them at his house. I had to find one quickly and had absolutely no clue what to get. I tried researching, but it was all like greek to me. I totally lucked out, because all I did was find one that looked cool and read reviews. I ended up picking this one because it had the most authentic sounding reviews. He was absolutely thrilled, so I guess I did a good job. I love that it came preassembled, so all I had to do was pull it out of the box and charge it. Luckily, I remembered to charge it the night before, so he was ready to go Christmas morning. It was extremely easy to take off the body, charge and to put in the batteries. Since we are beginners with RC vehicles, I really like that it comes with an extremely detailed and through 23 page instruction manual. They even include the exact schematics for the entire truck, in case you want to take the entire thing apart. I'm impressed with the company's website and how much information is at your fingertips. Not only can you download the user manual, but there's an FAQ center specifically for your specific model. They also have an accessory area where you can learn more about the accessories, including models, purchasing links and videos of how to replace them. If you still have questions, you can contact their support team with your images or video of the problem. Take a look at their website and see what I mean. Now about the actual truck. According to my son's friend, this is the perfect starter truck. My son has been using it almost every day since Christmas and it's holding up great. The components are really well made, which gives the truck impressive performance. The remote seems to be very responsive and he hasn't had any connection issues. It took a little bit for him to master the remote, but once he did it was game on. As he was learning to control it, he ran it on low speed, so he got longer run times. Now that he's running it on high speed, he gets 30-40 minutes per charge. I really like that it's made with water resistant and waterproof electronics. The area that they're running these in has 3-4 inch high grass and can be soggy in spots. Considering the terrain they're running these on, it's much faster than I anticipated. I'm elated that I chose a high quality model and that it's performing at this high of a level. You won't be disappointed with this model.

Great looking toy truck with a good speed
I really like this toy truck. It looks great in blue, LED lights look awesome, good price point, good speed. However, the truck is flimsy or not well made. First truck's front arm fell off within first few try. I really liked the truck so instead of a refund, I asked for a replacement. Today, I took out of a box and went out with my kids to the playground and within 2nd battery playing, the left front wheel fell off. I wanted to try my luck and ask for a 2nd replacement but there's a exchange limit so Amazon processed for a refund. All in all, great looking truck with fairly good speed for a beginner as long as it holds up. It's unfortunate I had some product defects (or not assembled well). Things to point out: - Speed is not as fast as advertised 46kmh or 28mph. But definitely fast enough. It will tip over time to time because it's so fast. - The size is bit smaller than 1:10, it's more like 1:12 - 1st car's front arm fell off, 2nd car's front wheel fell off. Seems flimsy or not assembled well so make sure you tighten up when you first get it, like wheels - Great looking truck - Fun to play with while it's working - Good price point Update: One of the best customer service! They are very fast responding to your concern and will do their best to fix the problem. They sent me a replacement and I just need to make sure I tighten up all the screws to make sure assemblies are sturdy. Without a doubt, I will purchase from this seller again. Top customer service!

3/22/21 UPDATE - Low Quality Parts & Customer Service Silent
3/22/21 UPDATE - Thought this experience would be different based on the feedback the product has received. We had an issue with the car after just a few days (servo just died on us for no reason). Customer service was responsive the first time which was promising but then things went downhill. They sent a new servo that we had to install (which was a headache, especially considering the car was just a few days old). The car was still having issues so we were told by customer support that we could jump through the hoops of purchasing a new car and they would issue a refund via Paypal, but only once we left a positive feedback. This seemed like a weird bribe and we aren't sure why they couldn't just ship a new car themselves and it started to make sense how they have so much positive feedback now. We did receive the refund eventually and thanked them for their customer service. Much to our chagrin, the NEW car died less than a week after we got it from a completely different issue! We had to upload "proof" videos multiple ways for their customer service to be able to view it. After uploading to youtube (Search for "Soyee RC Car from Amazon - Quality Issues" to see the issue we're having) Once they saw it, they said that the differential was the issue this time and that they could send us a video on how to replace it, a replacement part and would give us "$20 for our troubles". We aren't comfortable taking apart the car completely, nor do we have the tools for this. We even asked our local hobby shop technician if they could replace it, but were told that they don't work on RC cars like these from Amazon because of how easily they break. The hobby shop in the neighboring city also gave us basically the same response. 5 days ago, we told customer support that this solution doesn't work for us and they have completely ghosted us now and have become unresponsive. We had high hopes for this RC toy, but learned our lesson the hard way and have spent more time at the local hobby shop troubleshooting and uploading quality issue videos for customer support than we have spent actually playing the the RC car in the yard. If you're looking for a toy that last longer than a week or so, look elsewhere!

It's pretty nice even with downsides
Honestly this car made me laugh a little bit ๐. It's VERY jumpy to the point of wheelies on grass (better grip than gravel). Good news is I didn't loose any parts or tools and it came with almost everything I need. Pros: -Pretty fast and strong. was skeptical when I saw online but decided to try it. -Twin motor gives more power to rear -Can plug in two batteries for longer run but I wouldn't run it into the ground due to heat suspicion. -Metal Hex for wheels -Lights are a plus with add ons for more in front. -Good batteries thank God -Bulky -Last but not least, no driveshaft whine, motor whine or wierd noises. (Bad whines) CONS: ๐ฎโ๐จ -Unstable when you hold it in your hand to test wheels.....Jesus it's jumpy and shakes Everywhere. Can actually cause parts to jangle and break. -METAL HEX...Its built into the dogbone. And must be upgraded or replaced with new dogbone for separate hex. -Plastic wheels....Man these wheels spin so fast that sooner or later the metal hex will tear right through it and make it round. -Twin motor heat. Idk how to better cool it because the whole thing is in a built in case which isn't great. -Instructions arnt updated completely. Shows a esc switch but it's actually a red button on mine. -suspension. Honestly just see if you can get metal suspension set. I dont know if this plastic will last long. Metal ones will be hard to find since not main brand. Springs are questionable also. -Lastly....God hooking up the battery packs is trouble for me. I got different ones and the esc's deans plug is a REALLY tight fit so I had to put in the dual deans plug adapter (comes with truck) and its still pretty tough to get on and off. Getting it off is a *****. Get your tool to wedge them off and maybe sooner or later it'll get wider. -Oh yea and uhh. This is NOT a 1/10. NO no. It's inbetween but really 1/12. Wheels are just huge. Overall.......๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฎโ๐จ I love this truck still ๐. Just don't like being lied to. I knew what I was getting into so I'm not mad. But it's 3 stars due to wrong size description. Love the truck though๐ฎโ๐จ not superb for beginners due to being super jumpy and needing upgrades

Amazing performance at a great price point.
This is one of my favorite blind purchases of all time. I had pulled some of my old toy grade rc cars out of the garage a few weeks ago and only one worked and it was really slow and had no ground clearance and useless in the yard. I decided it was time to get something new. I didn't need anything crazy, just something that would be able to go through grass and over small bumps and let my dog chase it or whatever. So hop on Amazon and start looking.... wow. there are a lot of rc cars. I had no idea where to start but after watching a few videos and reviews I started to dial in on this truck as a good compromise of speed, durability, and price. Let me tell you... It was more than a good choice. If you have never owned a "hobby" grade rc, you are in for a treat. The power and the suspension are amazing. It is FAST. It can go even faster if you put a 3s lipo battery in it, which I have not tried yet, however the 2s that comes with it still goes fast enough to have a lot of fun. It will do wheelies on takeoff if you have good traction and it will do backflips on a short wall ramp or a larger jump ramp. Not every time and driver skill matters, but it can do it. There are 2 motors and it is 4wd, so it puts down good power. It is a decent climber but geared a little fast even in low speed. Yes it has high and low speed which helps if you do want to do some climbing or are in a small space and don't want to crash constantly. It will take a beating and keep going. I have run it hard for a couple weeks and nothing has broken. I think i may have bent one of the drive arms that goes to one wheel a little bit but it still goes fine and just makes a little noise. For all the hits it has taken that is amazing. Get the one with 2 batteries and you can connect both at same time for a longer run time and it feels like a little more power to me. This might be a little too much for a small child to control safely but it is perfect for a young or old adult who wants to do some bashing at an entry level price. Be warned - this will lead to more youtube videos and more purchases as you see the bigger and faster cars. I followed this one up with a JLB21101 and it is kinda scary. You need lots of room and it is definitely not for kids, but it is pretty freaking amazing. I would say it is one of the best next level up for the price like this one. Similar build quality but bigger and faster. For my next one I am going small and getting an Axial SCX24 crawler. They are also a great bang for buck. Have fun. If you are reading this far - yes, you should buy this. You will love it.

Love this Soyee RC car
Even though when I ordered this car it didn't come with a shipping date, I did receive it 5 days after. This is a huge and nice RC offroad truck. It has no problem riding on pavement, grass (not taller than the truck itself), rocks, sand, mud, etc. You can swift the truck after you get familiar with the control. You can also manually switch the speed mode to high speed from the controller to enjoy the super fast speed (which is a wow!). I also tried sticking an action camera on the back of the truck and it was fun watching the truck going here and there. The purchase came with two batteries and each could last for 20-30 mins or so. They also provided excellent customer support and was able to resolve issues that I had with the RC car (wheel and steering servo problems) promptly. No complaint at all.

Great truck, but a wheel fell off
This truck is powerful and a lot of fun. My son and I like it a lot, unfortunately on the second day of use one of the wheels fell off. I am hoping itโs just a fluke, so we are returning this one and will give it another try with a new replacement.

Takes a bashing!!
This is my second RC truck. The first one I purchased 5 years ago is a "brand name" truck that was over $100 more with a 3000 mah NIMH battery. The "Judge" with LIPO batteries not only runs longer but takes a really hard bashing. It has run full speed into many solid objects, gotten wedged under shipping containers, fences, and run up and down and over 8 foot dirt piles, landing head over heels and bouncing multiple times with only scratches (many) on the shell. We take it on baseball infields and let it rip. I have not had to take anything apart to clean out stones etc. and nothing has broken. I am very happy and amazed with the abuse this can take and keep going. We get about 30 min run time by joining the two batteries together. When we take it to the dirt piles it will be crashed, smashed, bashed and thrashed over and over, and most often lands on its feet! We have taken it to a parking lot with a steel water catchment grate that acts like a jump. It will fly over the jump and land on the pavement and bounce multiple times, and maybe only loses a shell pin or two. All and all this is, so far, a really fun RC that you do NOT have to be gentle with. I am going to get a second one (red colour) so my son and me can have a smash up derby, and beat the living heck out of them...OH what FUN!!

Very poor quality
The first time my son Used this RC car the wheel flew off. We tried calling Amazon to see if they could send replacement parts and was told I would be contacted by the seller about it which never happened, and instead Amazon sent a return tag but my son didnโt want to return it he just wanted it fixed so my husband was able to find some parts to fix the wheel. But after a few more uses it began to have other problems the car would jump backwards when it was suppose to go forward and it ended up hurting my son when it jump back at him. One of the back lights also stoped working, my son was so disappointed that he wasted his birthday money on this RC car that kept breaking he decided to return it for a refund. We contacted Amazon to have the return tag resent and were told we would be receiving a full refund and an email would be sent confirming it. We Just received an email stating it is not going to be refunded, so I have contacted Amazon again to try and find out why? Amazon is saying that I will need to contact the seller and that it no longer can be returned even tho yesterday I was told by an Amazon representative that I would be receiving a full refund for this product. This has been a very frustrating and completely disappointing experience. My advise would be to not waste your money on this car it was poor quality and equally disappointing customer support.

Great Truck. Run on 3s Lipo
On the 2s lipo supplied with the truck it has a maximum speed of 20 mph. HOWEVER.. when I put in a 3s lipo it turns into a completely different truck. It easily does wheelies, spits stone 30 feet out and maximum speed increases to atleast 30 to 35 mph. Tonns on fun. Yahoo
