What is the best age for use?

Honestly unless your child is small for their age its like its built for a child of 24-36 months that's the size of a 9-12 month baby. My daughter is tall for her age and she outgrew it at 15 months. Its just too small to really be of much use in my opinion. Its like its scaled down from a larger version. Lesson learned I'm just going to build an actual swing set that she can use as she grows. This is the disposable razor of outdoor child toys. Cheaply made and unrealistically small.

I have a 5 month old and I live in an apartment so I am not able to buy a hanging swing. Would this be suitable for her?

Go to Walmart, that have a swing you can hang from ceiling, bought one for my 1 yr old grandson. He loved it.

We have nowhere to hang a swing on our deck for our very large, 27 lbs, 9 month old. Would this work?

My daughters are 2 and 1 and both fit the swing with room to spare. My one year old is almost 30 lbs so I understand your concerns. Yes this would fit but it's not a tall set so you either need to bend over or sit down to swing the baby or push the swing with your foot.

What would be the maximum weight this is rated for?

My 2yr old weighs 27 pounds but the swing barely handles him. The slide is better for him.
