CERBERUS Strength 9mm Extreme Knee Sleeves (Pair) (5XL)

These are no joke knee sleeves. I don't squat unassisted anymore and need at least knee wraps otherwise I get joint pain. When they broke three months ago I decided to try sleeves. Ordered a good 7 others since then and every one has been wrong size, won't go over my calves or shockingly bad quality. Most sleeves on Amazon are £30 plus, maybe £40 depending on size and brand. Beast Gear looked the part but won't fit and dont have my size but allot of reviews show tearing. I have a Cerberus Strength velcro belt and I thought for the sake of an extra £15, £20 why not. When they arrived I thought there definitely a bust as they must be wrong size, these are massive. Even for 4XL there huge but there bang on. They just slide over my calves and are firm but not circulation stopping when in position. So other then leg pressing last three month I've done no free standing squats so thought I'd take it easy and go light. My max is around 163kg but I ark up in big pyramid sets to avoid injury. Problem with these sleeves is they felt so good with the belt too, which I havnt used for squats before that I was almost back upto 163 in minutes. Even then I used to get 2-3 reps at a push. I did 6 reps with these on and other than being nakared it felt like nothing. I ended finishing I. 177kg for reps before pyramiding down and hitting the leg press. Was stupid as i was feeling it two days later but less than a week later and I got upto 183kg yesterday for reps. I genuinely rate these things and Cerberus strength and I'm not sponsored or anything I just lift alot in between work and these things helped me squat just over 400pounds only the second time using them after a long absence from squatting. I'm on a bit of a change of work out as I'm getting older so I'm buying more wraps and aids to look after myself more and I'd just had some Beast Gear wrist wraps delivered too, I've already returned them in favour I've Cerberus. Again it might not sound like it but I'm not sponsored, it's not a paid review, it's just honest. All there stuff is quality, it's mostly strongman rated so it's a built to last. The item quality on these sleeves are legit.

I have used a lot of different knee sleeves, with these and SBD been the largest two “names” Not directly comparable to SDB due to them been 9mm vs 7mm. If however you don’t need comp spec thickness these are really very very good. Well make (just as well as SBd) and very stiff. 5/5

Excellent best I’ve ever used, bit of a technique getting them on but worth it big time!!!

I used these for back squat and then hack squat today. I’m 6’7/270 and 1rm 365. Set 5x225 felt like a dream. 5X315 felt even better. My knees are normally hurting a little by the time I get to 365x1. Today I hit 365x3 then 365x2. Then sets of 8-10 all the way back to 135. They’re really comfortable and perfect fit fortunately. Then I did hack squats @ 225 & 315. No knee pain entire workout, and still none. I was skeptical, but these things kick @ss. Thanks for another great product Cerberus :)

You get what you pay for... High quality neoprene material and stitching! These knee sleeves are 50% thicker than the 6mm ones and offer incredible support and bounce. I was able to squat a few more reps and sets compared to raw, and was able to go below parallel more. I would say they increase your 1RM squat by at least 5-10% compared to raw. One drawback is getting the right size. If you get them too small they become a problem to put on. If you get them too large you get that annoying crease in the back of the knee. Also they start to smell rancid if you don't hand wash them after a few workouts, but that's standard with neoprene material and sweat.
