TruKid Dancing Detangler - Natural Detangling Spray, No More Knots or Dry Hair 7 oz

This stuff is great! My son has naturally curly hair, so I have to spray it and brush it every morning. I had been using Suave for kids, which worked well enough, but noticed that he was breaking out on his neck where the spray hit him, and it was causing my hands to break out. So I searched for a more natural product and found this little gem! Not only does this stuff NOT break us out, but it smells amazing, works really well on his hair, AND actually makes his hair and curls even softer. His hair hasn't looked this good in a long time - I actually might have to start "borrowing" it for my hair! ;)

The detangling effect is terrific, excellent slip. The spray bottle works well; it's a fairly wide mist. Helps immensely to detangle, define, & defrizz 3B curls. Leaves a pleasing shine. Fantastic natural ingredients. Note: The initial aroma is quite pleasant - juicy oranges! Unfortunately, that quickly fades to a bit of a odd musky smell - likely the oils, maybe the calendula, but that dissipates, and leaves nothing. Generally, this is good as I've found most kids' detanglers are super fragrant, but I wish the orange would linger for longer. Bottom line: I'd purchase again.

I use this on my 15 month old daughter's hair. Her hair is still quite fine, and wakes with a huge rat's nest in the back every morning. I spray a very small amount of this detangler on the hair on the back of her head, brush through and give it a scrunch with my hands. There is no perceptible difference in the texture or oiliness of the hair that was sprayed vs that which was not. The curls come back, her hair smells nice (fresh, not overpowering), and the rat's nest is gone. I definitely recommend this detangler for fine toddler hair.

I bought this product in large part due to the positive safety reviews on the Environmental Working Group's "Skin Deep" website. It smells delightful (but the smell is not overpowering, a light citrus scent). Apart from being safe for my kids (as opposed to many popular products that have all sorts of unhealthy chemical ingredients), it actually WORKS. I don't have to struggle to try to get knots out of my daughter's hair before school anymore. It works just as well, if not better, than other products that are not necessarily safe for children's bodies!

Works perfectly on my older daughter's short, straight hair. Is HORRIBLE for my younger daughter's curls. If anything, it makes them more snarly. It costs 1/2 as much as the kind I usually buy but I need to use 3 times more and soak her hair with water to even get a brush through. We do like the smell though!

I bought this for my daughter because she has very long hair and very tingly hair in the mornings and when I seen this I had to give it a try cuz I seen so many good reviews and I have to say for myself Doctor works really well I don't have to over spray for hair to get the tangles out BAND the bottle last for quite a while even how small it is. I am pretty satisfied with the spray and I'm going to continue buying it because I have spent so much money on detangling sprays and they don't work or they leave her hair very greasy and this is the great product because it doesn't leave the kids is hair greasy it makes it nice and shiny and I highly recommend it.

I read other reviews that liked the smell of the product, but to me it was not my favorite. I can't place the smell of this conditioner. A little citrusy, a little musky? The good thing was that the smell wasn't strong once my little one's hair was dry. The constancy is super creamy and after shampooing I take a dime sized dollop and use it like leave in conditioner. I like it because it weighs down my little one hair so in the morning his hair looks combed without looking greasy. So far I like the product and another conditioner by: Nature's Baby Organics Conditioner & Detangler, Vanilla Tangerine, 8-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) High chances I will buy again

3 girls, 3 different hair types...We have one with fine straight hair, one with long thick and wavy and another with super thick and long straight hair. This product smells pleasant and does a pretty decent job on taming crazy sleep messy hair. These were the same mornings that used to be filled with blood curdling screams in which our neighbors thought we were branding our cat. For us it is worth every penny to not have that daily scream fest. Now - if I could only figure out how to stop my 4 year old from wasting this spray on Barbie and My Little Pony...

My daughter still cries after using this so not really effective for me but might be working for others
