Any way to get them to stop squeaking?

Try wd-40 the corrosion inhibitor stuff. Tri-flo silicon lubricant also works well. You will have to re-apply periodically.

Which company is better to take Gripper - "Captains of Crush" or "Heavy Grips"?

I've never used captains of crush so I can only speak for heavy grips. The heavy grips are solidly built and definitely increased my grip strength. I started with 150 and now I'm able to fully close the 250 with my left and almost there with my right. Don't think you can go wrong either way

Would these be good for someone who can deadlift 300 pounds for 10 reps or 400 pounds for one rep? Or would the higher weight set be better?

Definitely... I bought this set 6 months ago and I do 15 reps of the 200... I can barely close the 250 a few times so I still have a ways to go before I buy the 300... I shrug 350lbs for 4 sets 10-15 reps and my forearms are shredded... give them a try... They do squeak after a while but I don't care...lol
