Kosta Boda Mirage Vase Green/Blue Large, 7040703

It is a pretty vase however is not the model shown on the picture

Looking for a contemporary and colorful centerpiece for our dining room table, and fell in love with this piece online. The reality did not disappoint - it's great! Price on Amazon was the best I could see, so very happy with this purchase.

Overall, very nice. However, not excellent (5 stars) especially for the $$$$. I got this for my mother's 70th birthday so after opening it and inspecting it, I mailed it to her. First, the color (blue/amber) is much more dramatic and brilliant in the photo. I looked at it in a variety of natural and indoor lights, it looks good, but not spectacular. There are two small bubbles in the tapered section, for this premium product I found that unacceptable. There are also minor irregularities around the opening of the vase where it is was carelessly beveled to get rid of what would be a sharp edge. Four stars, maybe approaching four and a half. I fully expected a five star product. I expected some sort of packaging too. Premium products that are manufactured with pride usually will have some proper box or wrap with branding and literature. It was simply wrapped in white tissue in a cardboard box w packing peanuts. It had a small Kosta Boda clear sticker on the vase. I'm just happy I didn't buy it from Nieman Marcus online where I first saw this while looking for upscale vases. They want $800!!!

It's gorgeous! Love it and get LOTS of compliments on it.
