I broke my tailbone when I was 15 and it has caused a lifetime of pain. I must have 10 coccyx cushions. Those that are wavy and made of memory foam are okay - for a while. Long term, like driving for 40 minutes or sitting at my desk at work, the foam is just too hard and unforgiving for my back. I need cushion as well tailbone protection. My cushion for work is shaped like this one and has lovely soft foam that bounces back, and is soft and easy on my spine but it's old and the cover is beyond redemption. It doesn't make my back try to adjust to its shape, but adjusts to mine. It is oversized for my frame but the most comfortable. I was happy to find this one that is so much like it. The opening is larger than shown in the image, and the little strap handle is a perfect fit for the handle of my carry-on bag. I leave on a long flight next week and am hoping this is going to make an airline seat less tortuous for me. Really happy with buy!

i am 9 months pregnant and my tail bone has been killing me at work. I sit 7-10 hours per day and my tailbone has not been happy and by the end of the day I am a wreck. I have now had this pillow for 2 days and there is little to no pain in my tailbone anymore! It does flatten quite a bit but if it didn't I would be sitting up to high. The only thing I don't love is the cover which seems like it will fall apart after a few washings. But, all I care about is the next few weeks.

I am a woman with arthritis and MS and am dealing with a crazy amount of pain and tightness in the sacroiliac (SI) joint. I traveled on an airplane recently and tried to simulate what this type of pillow would do with a jacket (no luck). I knew I needed to research and buy a coccyx pillow asap. I decided on this one over a ring shape because I thought that the shape and memory foam would be more useful in the car, on planes, sitting in meetings or just sitting at the kitchen table. It's been nice and provides a great amount of relief. I've been concerned about the potential for pressure sores for me (I do not use a wheelchair but sit a lot and have very little natural cushion on my tush). This is a nice cushion. Firm enough to seem like it will hold up for some time and with a durable cover and handle. 5 stars. UPDATE Jan 25 - I love this thing and am going to buy two more (1 for each car). I feel like Linus with his blanket ... I tote the this cushion all over the place :) Simple, logical relief.

I’ve bought 3 of these cushions and they help. one for boyfriend sciatica nerve, his mom tailbone fracture, myself back pain and sciatica nerve. It’s not a cure all but it does help some with the pain

I was very surprised when I received this product after reading all the positive reviews on Amazon. Let me start off by saying the item received is not the same item advertised. Item arrived is not "self molding memory foam" as describe in product description. The removable cover is not made of "soft polyester and rayon" and does not contain a zipper as stated in product description. The item also does not include the "transport strap" as stated in the description and shown in the picture. Here is a picture of what the cushion really looks like. [...](EDIT) I guess Amazon don't allow links, just look at "Customers Images" for the pic I posted. You can clearly see that the foam is low quality and not made of memory foam, the cover is not the same material shown in the picture..etc. This cushion is definitely not valued at $23.99, the price that I paid. Overall, the material of cushion's foam is very cheap and does not provide adequate support. It flattens out completely when weight is applied on it (I weigh only 155 lbs). The material of the cover/cushion also tend to retain a lot of body heat, causing your posterior area to be uncomfortably hot. Lastly, the cushion also seem a bit too wide and needs to be constantly adjusted to fit properly in the seat. For all those reasons above is why why I rated this product 1 star. That being said, even though the product itself was horrible, I would like to say Amazon's customer service and support is great. I spoke to an Amazon rep and I'm now shipping this item back for a full refund w/o having to pay a shipping fee.

I've been suffering with tailbone issues for 27 years and have been trying to find the perfect thing to sit on. I have tried regular seat cushions, I tried the "As you've seen on TV cushion", I've tried tons of things. I read the reviews on this cushion and decided to try it. I am now able to sit an 8 hour day with VERY minimal pain that only begins during the last 1/2 hour of work. And that is very minimal. During my day I only get 2 - 15 min breaks and 1 - 30 min lunch, which 1/2 of it I end up sitting at my desk anyway. This cushion fits the whole bottom of my desk chair and contours to my buttocks. I have a very boney buttox as I have just recently lost over 50 lbs so it is very uncomfortable to sit on any type of chair anyway (since there is no "cushion" in my rear). This cushion makes a world of difference. I am able to sit comfortably with no pain in either my buttock bones or my coccyx. I no longer have to stand up about 3 hours before my day is over and complete my day on my feet talking to customers - I work in a call center so am tied to the phone. I can remain seated and do my job. I am seriously considering purchasing another one to keep on hand in the car for when I go places and the chairs are wooden or metal and not comfortable to me. I truly recommend this cushion to anyone who either has a boney buttocks or a coccyx issue. You will see a tremendous difference the first day you use it.

As a person with both peripheral neuropathy and a job that requires long periods of desk time - I can say that this product has undoubtedly improved my quality of life by decreasing pain and discomfort. I was left with severe peripheral neuropathy after suffering a broken pelvis and damaging the nerves of my lower back. This burning pain, which manifests itself mainly in the soles of my feet, would flare up immensely when I was subjected to long periods of sitting. The pressure on my coccyx bone would aggravate the entrapped nerves and cause a great deal of discomfort. Now, using this cushion, the pressure on my coccyx has decreased quite a bit when sitting and I am able to remain sitting for much longer periods of time without noticing any flare ups of neuropathy. As I have only had this product for 1 week, I cannot comment on if the cushion will flatten out to any degree and become less effective, but for now the memory foam inside provides ample support and springs back to it's original shape quickly after I get up. I am therefore optimistic that the product will remain effective for a long time. I urge anyone who suffers from a similar condition as mine to try out this product. I am very satisfied with the purchase so far and, if this cushion continues to provide a similar level of relief as it has thus far, it will become my constant companion when sitting for extended periods is required!
