Great paddle
Great paddle for the price. I'm an old fashioned player (84 years old) and I really get some nice spin on my serves

A solid choice for friendly matches
This paddle has been a terrific addition to our collection, and I mostly purchased it for weekend games with friends. It is a popular choice in our casual tournaments because everyone who has tried it has remarked on how balanced it feels. Particularly when the rallies grow more fierce, I like how the grip fits nicely and improves my control. Even when I'm switching between forehand and backhand shots quickly, the grip feels steady.Control and spin were nicely balanced by the rubber surface. I discovered that it could add a little flair after I got more experienced, but it was also forgiving enough for basic shots. The paddle was good for casual games because I usually play with friends who are also beginners. It's smooth and the ball reacts predictably without bouncing off too quickly, making rallies easier and allowing for longer, more entertaining games. One of my favorite features is the grip. It feels natural, isn't overly large or slick, and the concave handle appears to be made for extended usage without being uncomfortable. My hand didn't tighten up even after playing for a few hours, which is something I frequently experience with other paddles. This characteristic, in my opinion, makes it particularly appropriate for someone who is still honing their grip technique. However, I discovered that dust is easily drawn to the rubber surface. I had to wipe it down frequently to keep its hold after only a few sessions, which was a little inconvenient. It's worth noting if you want low-maintenance equipment, but I suppose it's a minor amount to pay to keep the paddle in great condition.

World champion review...
I bought this and then won the world championship table tennis title. As soon as I took it out of its amazing protective shipping package, I picked it up, and immediately I felt woozy and my sight got blurry. All I could see was the word "downloading" in big red letters and instantly I knew everything there was to know about table tennis. I was not playing with the paddle, it was playing me. Every time I play with it everyone stops what they are doing and say "man I love that paddle," and I say "Thanks." This paddle has perfect balance, appearance, and the grip. It almost feels like it is holding on to me. Together with the paddle and I, we took on all of the worlds top players and eventually the entire Chinese Olympic team. I beat them all one by one. It feels good to be the world best table tennis player. I highly recommend this ping pong paddle.

Awesome paddle!
This paddle is fantastic.About me: I'm a pretty serious player (ITTF ranked). I'm primarily a looper and blocker, but I have a pretty well-rounded game. I have a couple of pro-grade blades that I play with - a Timo Boll ALL+ with Yasaka Mark V rubber, and a Black Widow OFF+ with Bluefire M1 rubber.I got this paddle to play around with at work (Yeah, ping pong at work... Internet company... lucky me!). I also wanted to try to slow my game down a little and add some control, and see how that works for me.What I've found is that the speed of this is perfect for me. It's a little slower than the Timo Boll. I'd rate this an ALL- or DEF+. And despite the $30 price tag, it's a really well-built paddle. It's a 5-ply, has a large sweet-spot, and really consistent power throughout the blade. The rubber is sticky, and although the "gluey" feeling it has out of the package wears off, the rubber maintains a nice surface for months. The power is more than sufficient for a looping game, and will deliver a decently speedy block as well. But this paddle also allows a good amount of control and spin to allow consistent pushing with good control (can't do that with the Black Widow!)Cons....I'm not crazy about the handle. It's a little too rounded out for me, and makes it slightly more difficult to know what angle you're holding your paddle at. I prefer blockier handles. The size and flare are fine... just the cross-section is a problem for me. It's also pinkish in color... not a big deal for me, but if that may bug you, consider it.The case has some hilarious poorly-translated text on it. Also no big deal, but may get you laughed at. =)No other real cons. Cheers!

Nice steady pre-built paddle
Obviously, this is not a custom built paddle, or anywhere near it. However, as low range paddles go, this is pretty good. It has a more tamed all around profile, but it really allows you to feel the ball. Much better than your average box store paddle. I have been using these to practice and play more casually for a few years now, and I quite like them. They are not particularly light paddles, but definitely not super heavy either. Just a tamed paddle. I recommend it for beginners, or casual players that want something that will last a little bit longer and give them more feel.
