How this works
I've asked a lot of questions in the question and answer section of which some got answered some not. I just received the relay and think I have it figured out. Might save someone searching all over. My application is solar. I needed a relay to sense my battery voltage and if it drops to a certain voltage have a relay shut down or disconnect my inverter. The inverter is separate from my main house inverter. It's function is to power a Mr Cool Universal central air conditioner or a electric water heater. When the suns out my inverter solar charger charges at a higher voltage than the batteries are when the sun goes down. So I want the AC or Water Heater to be run by the Inverters 240 volt output. The inverter is a 48 volt DC (LiPo4) powered unit. While running the A/C or Water Heater the batteries are at 53.5 volts or above. When solar is removed the batteries drop to 53 volts which is the settled voltage on my 48 volt LiPo4 system. So the relay is the 48V/220V model which I will set to 53.5 volt under voltage thresh hold to trigger the bottom relay section to open turning off my inverter. My concern where does it engaged and close the relay again and would there be a loop as the A/C would pull the voltage down again. WELL there is a "hysteresis" setting! Had to look that one up, lol. That is basically the spread when it engages or disengage again. It has a range of 0.1-30V on the 48V model with a default of 2.0V. I can set it at say 0.3 to have the relay reset at 53.8V or wherever I like it. On top of that there's a manual, auto and auto timed reset. So it can auto reset on those parameters or I can have it auto reset with a timer buffer of 0-.999 seconds (17 minutes). The manual says the power on delay and the reset delay is the same thing. You can also set a delay time (same range) for the activation of over or under voltage. The other question I asked and the seller answered is are the relays independent of the input, and they are. Also the relays, 2 of them are independent of each other...nice! I was going to power a 80A 240V AC DPDT relay to disconnect the power out of the inverter to the A/C but after talking to Ean of Watts247 I am going to simply wire the relay parallel with the inverters on/off switch. Turns out even off the solar charger inputs from the panels to charge the batteries remain active.

Great Solar Controller
I have been running this for over a year and it has worked flawlessly. It is used in my Solar System to stop the Inverter from draining the battery. The Solar Panels charge the batteries during the daytime but if there are a few days with cloudy conditions then the battery does not get charged. This great controller then opens up the relay and that switches my transfer relay from the Inverter back to the Grid and I do not destroy my battery pack. Then once the sun comes out again, then this switches back to the Inverter. The great thing is it is totally automatic, and I do not have to bother with it. I purchased the 48 volt controller that goes with my LFP battery.

Very good product
Using it to monitor electric utility company low or high voltage to my house. If it is out of the ranges I programed into it, it will start my generator. The generator will run until the utility company electric power is back to normal voltage levels. Very easy wiring and setup.

I removed 2 stars.
I looked closely as I could at the details. The picture shows a precision of .1. Even the picture shows my model number, AD200. I clearly shows 48.0. It is not, presion is at one full volt. I also posted a question about this, and the company never responded. I ordered their model AD48 and it is a precision of .1 volt, as I needed. If you need .1, this is not it.

If you have any electrical familiarity with electrical symbols and their conventional functions, look at the face of this relay. It indicates that relay contacts 18/15 are normally open (NO), 15/16 Normally closed (NC) and 25/26 are NC. But that is NOT how this relay is wired internally in production. The functions of these contacts ARE OPPOSITE WHAT IS LABELED which is dangerous in any electrical situation. What you assume is safe can actually provide live electrical voltage where it is not supposed to be. I use these programmable relays on my solar systems. Past purchases of this product do no have this defect. The vendor, although recognizes this, states on the packaged literature that this may occur in some of the products, the programmable relay will continue to function. This is comparable to changing the gear selector on your car to mix up what gear you are in but told not to worry about it. From the package insert: "Note: Relay contact shown in 'Power Off' (Fault) condition. *For some version, relay contact position shown in "Power On' (Healthy) condition, which will not affect the performance of the product". This is in TOTAL VIOLATION OF ALL ELECTRICAL CODES IN ALL STATES, PROVINCES AND COUNTRIES! Some of these programmable relays are defective but this vendor, rather than recall or rectify the problem is attempting to flog all the inventory.
