Easy to use & quick fix!
I recently purchased this item to connect my older model Pacman game that did not have an HDMI cord to my tv. It works seamlessly! It was very easy to set up & doesn’t take up a lot of space. I haven't experienced any issues with the converter affecting picture quality or any shortages. Great quick & inexpensive fix!

DVD back
I loved this HDMI adapter I bought to connect my DVD player to the new TV. The installation was super easy, about 5 minutes. I only connected the RCA cables (red, white and yellow) to the adapter and the HDMI cable to the TV. And ready! The image looks amazing, very clear and stable. The 1080p scaling gives a modern touch to the old DVDs, they look like new! In addition, it is very small, so it does not take up any space behind the TV. So far I haven't had any interruptions with the signal or anything that interrupts the movie. If you have a DVD, a camcorder or any device with RCA output and want to use it on a TV with HDMI, I highly recommend this adapter! It is practical, easy to use and works wonderfully. You won't regret it!

Simple, affordable solution for older devices
This ABLEWE RCA to HDMI Converter worked exactly as expected for connecting older devices to a modern TV. If you have legacy equipment like a VCR, VHS player, older gaming console, or DVD player that only outputs composite (red/white/yellow), this little adapter does the job. Setup was straightforward — plug the RCA cables into the converter, connect HDMI to the TV, power it via USB, and you’re good to go. It automatically handles PAL/NTSC, which is helpful if you’re using older equipment. The 1080P output scaling makes the image compatible with newer TVs without signal issues. The picture quality is what you’d expect from composite video — it won’t magically make old content look HD — but the converter itself doesn’t add noticeable distortion or lag. Audio sync was solid as well. Pros: Very easy to install Compact and lightweight Supports multiple older devices (VCR, PS3, Xbox, DVD, etc.) Affordable way to keep vintage equipment usable Things to keep in mind: Image clarity is limited by the original RCA source quality Requires USB power (included cable, but you’ll need a power source) Overall, this is a reliable and budget-friendly solution for connecting older analog devices to modern HDMI-only TVs. If you understand the limitations of composite video, this converter performs exactly as it should.

I can confirm this works with retro video games
I can verify this works for the original Xbox, Wii, GameCube, Nintendo 64, PlayStation etc. etc. etc. It also works going into a HDMI hub which probably says more about the HDMI hub quality than this but it does work so I would say this is a pretty good purchase before you even consider the price… The price makes it just an absolute no-brainer in my opinion When it comes to something like this I don't want options, I don't want features, I don't want buttons or remotes or anything. I wanna plug it in and walk away from it and that's what you do. It feels a little flimsy but that's just because it's so light. And because it's so light it means I can't really control the wires. More to the point the wires control it so if you need to move a system don't expect the wires to stay put they'll just kind of move the little box all over the surface but it's light enough that he could probably dangle behind without putting any strain on the wires or anything. I say go for it Edit: the last 2 photos are proof that I have it plugged into an HDMI hub. The last photo is the universal AV wires that I use for super Nintendo PlayStation GameCube and Xbox and Xbox 360. I leave those systems hooked up and whichever one I turn on is the one that sends the signal through the AVI cables. The AVI cables (Red White and Yellow) go to this AVI to Hdmi adapter (the item you are considering purchasing and reading this review for) Then it goes from that device to my HDMI hub then from that hub to my TV. It works without a a single issue so far

PS2 gameplay
Tbh I’m not seeing much of a difference. I decided to play my ps2 on my 2k quality TV since it’s the closest I could get without buying a box 480i TV. I thought this would make a more clear picture but it looks basically the same. I’ll be trying other games as well to see if it works better. And also try it on a 4k TV

Clean, compact, and plug-and-play—solid adapter for old gear on modern screens.
This adapter’s a proper fix for bridging old tech to new screens—takes RCA (red/white/yellow) input and converts it to HDMI at 1080P. Setup’s dead simple: plug in power via USB, connect your source (VHS, PS2, DVD, etc.), and it’s ready to go. No drivers, no faff. Picture quality’s decent—sharp enough for retro gear without stretching or ghosting. Switch toggles between PAL and NTSC, so it works across UK and US formats. Build’s lightweight but solid, and the ports grip well—no loose connections. Great for van setups, testing old kit, or keeping legacy gear alive. Best used with a short HDMI cable—long runs can cause signal drop. 👍 Pros ✅ Plug-and-play—no software or setup needed ✅ Supports PAL/NTSC—works across formats ✅ Decent 1080P output—sharp for retro gear ✅ Compact and lightweight—easy to stash ✅ Ideal for VHS, PS2, DVD, STB, Xbox, etc. 👎 Cons ❌ Needs USB power—extra cable required ❌ No upscaling—just clean conversion ❌ Doesn’t support HDMI to RCA—one-way only

Buen producto.
En demás plataformas no he probado. Muy recomendable por ese precio.

Does the job!
I’m using this on my Nintendo 64 and it works great! The power cable is a bit short and the placement of the port could have been next to the HDMI port for convenience but still, it works!

It gives new life to connect my Sony PS2 to the modern HDMI input T.V's
This converter makes it possible to attach my aging Sony PlayStation 2 to a more modern Flat panel T.V. and makes it possible to enjoy and play games on the PS2 further extending its life. It comes with a upscaler chip to choose between 720 P and 1080 the the picture quality is good in both setting. The only drawback is that the converter needs to be powered by external USB cable ( Supplied with the unit ) and it takes up the USB port on the PS2. The other minor grievance is that it exposes the PS2 video output as primitive in the age where 4k output has become the standard. Besides that, It is a good buy. Thank you Seller for a really good product.
