If you grew up in Turkey, the Balkans, the Middle East or Central Asia, you will be familiar with Soujouk, a wonderfully spicy, dried beef sausage. Also known as sucuk, sudžuk, and more – soujouk is revered for its dense, chewy texture and deep flavor profile. While many cultures enjoy soujouk an appetizer or in a sandwich (after removing the sausage casing), Turkish-style soujouk truly shines when cooked! We make our Kasap Halal Soujouk in the United States, with butcher’s-grade beef using the Apikoglu family’s traditional recipe. The secret to the goodness of our sausage starts with the premium quality beef and signature seasonings including garlic and hot red pepper. Pan sauté or grill our sausage sliced or diced – no need to add butter or oil – and the culinary possibilities for Apikoglu Kasap Halal Soujouk will inspire you! Grilling soujouk will release some of the fat and take the meat to new heights of deliciousness. Add to an egg scramble or frittata. Use as a topping on homemade pizza or flatbread instead of pepperoni or chorizo. Serve in a lavash bread or on a hot dog roll, with your favorite condiments. In Turkey, soujouk is a classic component in two delicious baked sausage and egg dishes: Sucuklu Yumurta, also prepared with cheese, tomatoes, spinach, onion, paprika and olive oil – and Menemen, a soft scrambled egg dish also made with chilis, tomatoes, peppers and lots of olive oil. Soujouk is also traditionally enjoyed with braised white cabbage and a side of mashed potatoes – and in Kuru Fasulye, the unofficial national stew of Turkey, made with navy beans and tomatoes. Once you try Apikoglu Kasap Halal Soujouk, you will find it adds smoky depth and beefy goodness to soups, stews and chilis. Review: Best Sucuk Brand of Türkiye - This is and was the best quality and tasting Middle Eastern sausage ever. I enjoy it with really thin slices in a panini with Turkish cheese and light tomato sauce. You can eat it by itself, with French bread, however you like. My suggestion: it has a lot spices in it, so eat it in small portions but cut it thin so it covers more space for the bread. And, make sure you cook it lightly. Raw is bad, cooked after it changes color is the best time to flip and it will change color faster on the other side. Consume hot or warm and don’t reheat so you get the best flavor. Too much comment for a sausage but the quality and the balance of spices is hard to find, and I verified this one for a lot of years. You’re welcome 😊 Review: Very tasty - The flavors are very good, would order it again

Not aged. Too fresh
I remembered a hard dry deliciously fragrant sausage one could slice thinly that lasted forever because it was so well aged and dense. What I received instead was very well packed and delivered early.. The taste was rough and overpowered by notes of cumin because the blending of the spices did not occur. A sausage soft and fresh out of the factory the color of a frankfurter instead of the dark brown skin covered with a thin film of white one wiped away. Big disappointment. L. Romney

It’s ok
I found this sucuk just ok, but it’s probably the best American-made sucuk I’ve had. The texture was a little softer than I would prefer as well. I guess it will do until I can go to Turkey and sneak some back in my luggage.

Smelly fatty
Too much fat. Wet sucuk. I did not like it. I won’t purchase it again. I’d rather buy salami from Other store.
