This is a crazy good product. No more rings on our nice wooden tables when guests get brain farts and forget to use a coaster. (and as much as I love my friends, they forget stuff like this way too often) I actually couldn't believe how well these worked, so I loaded up a glass with ice and cold water and set it on a napkin. All the ice melted. Napkin was dry. They ONLY way I got them to have any sweat at all was to take them outside into the 90 degree, 90% humidity weather we're having now. So - if you really are creative you MAY be able to get them to sweat. Really, that's not why they're made, but it's a really nice side benefit.And yes, they keep things cold way, way longer. I like the way they feel in the hand, and the way they look besides. They've also survived 8 months of clumsy husband and wife loading the dishwasher - I'd expect to have broken one of them by now, but these suckers are sturdy.I'm buying a set of 4 of the larger ones, and another set of 4 of these. Would so love a big clear double-walled coffee mug...

This is my second order from Sun's Tea. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the smaller 5.5oz double wall glasses, which lead me to these. Being a whiskey (scotch, bourbon, old fashioned) kind of guy... I wanted to expand my collection of appropriate drinking glasses. I have sets of the glencarin, multiple tumblers, and cocktail glasses... but nothing quite like these.When these Manhattan style glasses arrive, the first thing you'll notice as you unbox them... is the immaculate presentation. After a little research, I found that Sun's Tea is not only the seller... but they actually manufacture all of their glassware. Which, means they can afford to present these glasses to you in a high quality manner.Honestly, I'll use these glasses for a lot more than just drinking cocktails... because there's something unique about making something like a latte, cappuccino, or chai tea... and watching the different levels in this glass settle, with the creamy foam on top. And since these glasses are made for hot and cold temperatures/ drinks... they also make good glasses to use while hosting or entertaining guest. You'll get that, "Oh.. wow... these are pretty cool" look and response. At least I did.Overall... the quality, weight, look, design and ability to use these in a variety of ways are why I'm giving them 5 stars. They'll make a great addition to any kitchen or collection of drinking glassware.

Best glasses ever. Love that they stay cold and don’t sweat. Ice seems to stay a tad longer too. Buying more of these as gifts.

I want a glass that will keep my ice cubes from melting away before I can finish the drink. Thermos metal, etc. are out of the question for everyday use. Plastic feels cheap. I prefer glass. That means a double wall construction but all that I read says that they are very fragile,( do not put it in the dishwasher, keep ice cubes from landing too hard, etc.). Reviewers here confirm this for other brands. I ordered Sun Tea because there were no such complaints. I am an engineer with the highest praise for their engineers because they have dealt very well with this and ither anticipated problems. They accomplish their objective by delivering a product that keeps things cold at least twice as long as normal while avoiding bad trade offs.They deal well with trade offs. You would expect a thick lip on a double wall but it is not noticeable here even on the 16 oz size. You cannot tell this from the ordinary. The glass does not sweat and it does not feel heavy I can find no fault with the rest of their everyday design.The packaging reinforces the observation that this is a class outfit. I am not on anyone's benefit list; I just want others to benefit from my experiences.

I have several sizes of these double wall glasses, this 9 ounce size is my new favorite. Great for coffee, milk, juice, and vodka screwdrivers among other drinks. I'm ordering more of these. They are stronger than the Suns Tea taller glasses like the 13oz and the 16oz. I've washed them several times and left them in the freezer over night many times with no problems. They hold up to large ice cubes dropped in from several inches. In the past I've had lesser made double walled glasses develop a leak at the bottom after going thru the dishwasher a few times, not these.I have no issue with the thicker lip, its like a coffee cup, actually a thinner lip than the old school thick diner mugs I have. I have large hands and the size is perfect for me, my wife has small hands and she is fine with this 9 ounce size. Keeps my coffee hot and my drinks cold, not like an insulated thermos, these have no top. But longer than a regular coffee mug or glass tumbler.The tall 13 ounce size is also nice, perfect for a cold beer. I had one of the Suns Tea wavy 16 ounce fall 3 feet from the freezer to a tile floor and explode, care should be taken not to drop these on tile as they will explode with a pop! Both of us and our dog were fine, not a scratch. I will update this rating if there are any issues going forward, 5 stars for now. These were not free for my review, they were purchased here on Amazon.
