A good replacement
This was a replacement for a slightly smaller version, which I have had running for 11 years. It was fairly easy to connect up once I had the correct hose & fittings, and I am hopeful it will be as good as the last one. I ran it for a week without the UV and it has now been going for 2 weeks with the UV. My pond had become completely green over the lockdown after the old UV packed up & I couldn't get a replacement filter for quite a while, but it is gradually clearing and I can now see my fish. I am cleaning the filter sponges weekly at the moment to get the worst of it out, but I am hopeful that a few more weeks I should be able to see to the bottom again.
