Size 312 Hearing Aid Batteries (80 Batteries)

I used to buy my hearing aid batteries at Costco (Kirkland brand), because their prices were so good. However, the last batch of these batteries from Costco were in different packaging that made it very hard to get into without scissors. They made them childproof, and in doing so, made them virtually impossible for older people to get into them. That is why I switched to these RayoVac batteries that are in easy to use packaging (not childproof). These RayoVac batteries last longer than the Costco batteries too, so when you take that into consideration then the price is reasonable. If you have children in your home, then you may want to get the Costco batteries and fight with the packaging every other day to get a set of batteries out. Or, buy the RayoVac batteries and hide them from the kids.

Some of these of batteries only lasted a day. Some didn’t last two hours. And two of the packets had batteries that didn’t have any charge. I have ordered batteries from this seller many times in the past year or so and never had any problems. But this was terrible. I was constantly removing and installing batteries in my hearing aids which is already tedious but to have to do it over and over in a short span was bad. I need my hearing aids to work and last at least three days. AND the worst is the new “human” proof packaging. As anyone who uses hearing aid batteries knows you have to use scissors to cut open the packets. The batteries are small and can fly out and get lost. You cannot do it easily in a car e en if parked AND you have a pair scissors handy. So imagine going through that process ten or twelve times in the span of ten minutes and still have no results.

For starters, once you remove the tabs from these batteries, let them sit for at least five minutes before installing them. That said, however, they often exhibit some very strange and unpredictable behavior. Most noticeably, these batteries sometimes appear to go dead within a very short time, ranging from a few minutes to a few hours. But if they are taken out of service for a few minutes, they often rejuvenate themselves, sometimes for a short period, sometimes for a longer period. With some fresh batteries, I have had to repeat the short-term removal several times, after which they started behaving normally. One battery recently appeared to go dead several times, so I removed it and put it on a table, replacing it with a fresh one. I forgot to throw away the removed battery, and a few days later, when I needed a new one, I retrieved the previously discarded item and put it in back my hearing aid just to see what would happen. Four days later it is still operating above 50%. I have also noticed that my iPhone often shows the batteries draining from 100% to 50% within the first hour or two of use. But they often stabilize at that level, and remain there for several days thereafter. I wouldn't be alarmed by that; the point is that they are still providing sufficient power. In short, these batteries (perhaps like other brands) exhibit a range of quixotic behaviors. When they appear dead, they may only be playing possum, so my advice is not to discard them at that point. They may come back to life while they're not being used, only to provide an unexpectedly long period of continuing service when reinstalled.

Works just as well as costco, is half the price - 2x as many in package. Lasts about the same amount of time 3 days, which I've heard from friends is comparable. I do try to take them out at night which makes some extend about a day longer. I like the sticky piece on the back of the battery which gives you something to hold on to while trying to put it in the slippery hearing aid Itself. The only downside is the batteries are REALLY hard to get out of the package. The wheel turning area that holds in the battery sometimes will not turn at all and you actually have to rip apart the container holding the batteries. That is aggravating since the Walmart and the Costco wheels turn around easily. But for the price difference I will keep using these

Use these for my hearing aids..Have bought several times....not liking how you need to remove with scissors to get into them..Understand that is a law now..that they be child proof

Cumplen con lo esperado

Hola, He comprado varias veces ésta marca pero este paquete de pilas no duran nada ... Con otros paquetes tenía una duración de 4 a 5 dias y con éste paquete estoy cambiando cada 2-3 días. Mala calidad... Voy a tener que cambiar de marca ...LO raro es de que con los paquetes indicviduales de 6 la durabilidad era mayor y ahora con los paquetes de 8 pilas la durabilidad bajo a la mitad !

Las pilas en si, no he tenido ningún problema, duran en los aparatos aproximadamente 5 días, sin embargo, cambiaron el empaque de ellas y es casi imposible sacar una pila cuando la necesitas. Horrible el empaque, nada funcional ni fácil de abrir; necesitas tijeras y desbaratarlo todo y no puedes sacar una sola, mal, muy mal su nuevo empaque
