Easy Renaissance Pieces For Classical Guitar Book And Cd: With a CD of Performances Book/CD

Easy can be a relative term, especially for highly trained classical musicians whose "easy" can mean hours of painstaking labour for the rest of us mere mortals. Its is nice to see that easy means easy in this book. A basic knowledge of classical or fingerstyle guitar is what you need for this book. It is a wonderful collection of pieces, some well known and others not so well. It comes with a cd, so you don't have to be able to read music either. Tab and standard notation is given throughout the book. The arrangements are simple but still sound wonderful and they can be embellished as you get better as a musician. There are 61 pieces, so you can build quite a repertoire from this book. All in all, for me anyway, there is hours of enjoyment in this book, and it is well worth the money.

A lovely series. I really like the CD which helps with getting my playing right. Shame CD s are being phased out.

This book is full of wonderful tunes that are fairly easy to play. Well worth the price.

Well tabulated Jerry, purchased this yesterday & am enjoying working through it, nice arrangements & not too hard for the intermediate player. Must say that I'm enjoying extending myself adding in the trills and ornaments that are now stretching my existing skills. Holds value for all mid skill, intermediate point classical guitar players.
