Bought this cause I've been growing out my brows but they've always been rather light. I'm a natural brunette and filling in my brows is the only makeup I'll wear on a daily basis. This purchase did not disappoint! I bought it as a treat to myself and tried it out yesterday. I mixed an equal portion of the dye with 10 Vol. developer I happened to have ("Super Star Cream Peroxide Developer 10 Volume 16oz" to be exact). I read that 10 Vol. developer = 3% peroxide, as this calls for (SWEET!) I think using a ratio of slightly less developer would be better so it's thicker, but it didn't drip. I mixed the two carefully for a few minutes and then set my alarm for 7 minutes as I started to apply it. I used an angled makeup brush and wiped off any excess on my skin so the dye mixture itself looked like a shaped brow. I decided to wait 1 extra minute because I didn't want to have to re-apply. Wiped off with a dry cotton pad and then followed with a wet one. I'm so happy I did this! A relatively "subtle" change actually makes a big difference. The dye is on the darker side but looks completely natural, and definitely brown (not black). I can get away without filling in my brows with this stuff, but on a night out I will perk up my less-than-full areas - but seriously hardly using or needing any makeup at all. Treat yo self! (And make sure you remember the developer/oxidant...) EDIT: The holidays came and I gave this another go. I got so many compliments on my brows from my family! I got so excited I took the plunge and tried my eyelashes as well. While my eyelashes are already on the darker side, it does help to emphasize and define them even more - no mascara needed. :) I was careful not to get any near my eyes and used some castor oil to remove any dye from my lower eyelids. I love this stuff, it's honestly a lot of fun, I almost wish I had to use it more often! Don't underestimate the power of feeling beautiful, especially when you're going "makeup free." It's like cheating, or something. ;) Edit (2020): I’ve had this for four years, hot damn. I’m not even halfway through the bottle yet. This stuff lasts forever.
