Love our new vacuum so much we named it "Harold"!!
This was the first robot vacuum we have owned, and for a long time we were apprehensive if the investment was worth it cost-wise...but it has been MORE than worth it!! I wish we would have bought one sooner! This cute little guy is incredibly thorough and gets to everything in the house. We have a 100yr old home with large baseboards and outlets that jut out. The Coredy's sweepers completely get to the baseboards, corners, around the outlets gently, around table legs, etc etc etc! I was surprised how well it completely cleans into corners, edges, and crevices. It is also nice and slim and gets FULLY under our sectional, ottoman, dining room table and hutch, coffee table, and even under our clawfoot tub!! It is such a help in the entire house, and it gets all of our hair in the bathroom. We have a pet dove that is always shedding fluff feathers everywhere, and the sweeper gets all the feather fluff mess. Where our floors go from hardwood to tile there is a bit of a bump-up ledge between the two rooms (bathroom & kitchen), but this awesome vacuum four-wheels it and with ease hoofs it up the ramp at the door threshold and back down afterwards without issue! It also transitions from vacuuming the hardwood to the area rug with ease and gets our rugs totally vacuumed. I LOVE having a consistently cleaner floor and knowing that crumbs are not sitting wayyy under the couch for a long period of time. Just put a barrier or close doors if there are areas you do not want the vacuum to go. It totally understands its perimeters when you have a simple barrier. I don't run the vacuum on a schedule. I just pick when I am ready to turn it on, because I have a son that is always playing with Legos and Nerf darts which would be problematic if the Coredy sucked up, so I like to double check that there's no stray toys before engaging the robot. Like many other reviewers have said, it helps the kids be more consistent about picking their junk up, and they treat the robot a lot like another pet in the house. Our son named ours "Harold". I like that this particular vacuum has a HEPA filter, and it is easy to clean and change out parts. The instructions that come with the robot regarding when to change out parts and how to do maintenance is super easy to understand and helpful. We want to be sure to keep this robot in good shape for a long time because it is awesome!! There are other fun settings with this robot too. For example if you break or spill something you can put the robot on the spot and put the "clean a spill" setting on. The robot will then clean in a circular radius out from the center of the mess to completely clean things up in that one area. You can also use the remote to move the robot to vacuum exactly where you want first...or you can let it go through the whole house. You can choose to have the robot clean the house on a regular schedule...or just turn it on when you want it...lots of options that are easy to select. Comes with a handy remote control, and everything is totally user-friendly for a technologically challenged person like myself. The robot knows when it is low on battery, so if it is still cleaning but is getting too low on battery it will automatically take itself back to the docking station before it dies. It is also very quiet when it operates. It is much quieter than any other robot vacuums we have seen at family & friend's homes. I also think this one is much thinner than others I have seen, and it fits under everything. Highly recommend this awesome robot, it does such an amazing job!!

R3500 a good value and adequate performer
I have an older Dyson upright and one of the rechargeable Dyson handheld and between the combination, our 2400 Sq.Ft. upstairs stays reasonably clean - for the carpet area. The kitchen, breakfast nook, and dining room are not carpeted and the Dyson is just not fun to use; getting down on the floor to stick the bare-floor head under China cabinet and hutch is tough on knees and back. And so, a robot vacuum seemed like an ideal solution... and it needed to be thin. One could spend a long time trying to select the right unit... so many choices and such a wide price range! First, realize your expectation: in today's market, an under $200 unit is unlikely to compete in specifications with a $500+ robotic cleaner, but the less expensive unit may be fully capable of satisfying your cleaning needs: basic and maybe a few wants, too. You must match your expectation to the product: otherwise you will be disappointed OR pay for features you may never utilize. The Coredy R3500 exceeded my requirements: basic hardwood cleaning in 3 areas. It is not sufficiently sophisticated to learn room layouts as digital maps, but its well designed hardware and software seem to get the job done after 2 or 3 daily runs. The R3500 runs in obstacle avoidance mode, when it gently meets an impediment, it changes direction. It can escape easily from most entrapment. The motions appear to be designed on covering (maximizing) cleaning area over time. In one run, it may not fully cover 100% of the floor, but it does seem (in default mode) to find the underside of wall-placed furniture. Be patient, by the end of day 3, it will have visited most everywhere it can roam. The remote control does allow you to become the operator and direct the robot to a target area (or under one.) Read the paper manual, modes are explained. Keep the main brush clean of human/pet hair; a nice cleaning tool is provided. I find my handheld Dyson perfect for cleaning the brushes and underside... just 3 or 4 minutes to empty the waste bin, suction clean the main roller, and use a lint free cleaning cloth to remove dust from the sensor area. After the first few days, you may find that you can go to an every other day for the human touch. But, run the robot often as modern HVAC units seem to push dust toward the baseboard and under cabinets. Very satisfied with this product and happy to have saved money over more expensive units with features I do not need.

Good Buy
The Pros: Price, Efficacy, Ease of use, Packaging/Contents (extra brushes and filter)/Washable filter/hard floors and carpet/Set Up Simple Cons: Takes a while to do the job (though this is minimal as who cares when all you do is push a button or program the unit-just don't expect this to be a 10 min job-allow the time) I have only run this unit 2 days. Once (day 1) downstairs which is mainly hard surface. It was learning and did a decent job. There were still a few small pieces of debris but hey, when I get done with the real manual vacuum I leave a few myself. It is not intended to do a deep clean so don't kid yourself someday you will have to do that. It does maintain-which I believe is the purpose. To help in the daily life process and that being said it did an astonishing job dodging chair legs and dogs to get this done. Day 2 involved upstairs-which is mostly carpet. I was amazed it did a better job than I anticipated. I have short very thick carpet yet is still left tracks. Once again this is not a deep clean though I felt it was very adequate for a daily sweep and made me look forward to being barefoot as I prefer indoors. I am a very hard person to please in terms of a device and its abilities-so the 4 stars may be many 5's. I just honestly believe there are very few 5 stars in life. One has to weigh length of time running with suction power to get the most advantage of use and this does a pretty competent job of that. For the under 200$ cost and honestly the model R3500 is more than adequate who cares if I use my phone or the remote and I can program via the remote or call the unit home. So no need to spend more for bells and whistles of little value to me. As for the long haul use-not sure about dependability. Perhaps I will return in a year to update. This will get daily use and I may buy a second unit for the upstairs-depends on how it holds up and my satisfaction several months from now. It does seem will built - it is made in China if that matters to you. It did not to me, though post Covid now it will. I will pay more for American made starting in the near future as we all need to. We have to employ our peoples and have them for future crises to support the USA. Lesson Learned.

Great robot vacuum, my floors are finally hair free!!
If you're like me you're confused and a little overwhelmed by all the options for robot vacuums. After a lot of reading I figured out some things: Price differences: why is there such a price difference, under $200 , $400, $ 800... what's the difference?! One of the major differences is that the higher end models map out your house layout, when the battery runs low they go recharge themselves, and once charged, go back to the last spot they were and continue cleaning. The 'lower end' models vacuum randomly, the don't remember where they've cleaned and where they haven't. They clean until the battery runs low at which point they go back to their docking station to charge. But that's it, they're done cleaning at this point. This particular model, the R3500 vacuums in this random way. Does it matter? It depends - for me this model works perfectly, I have a nice open space for my kitchen, living and dining rooms, that's what I need cleaned on a regular basis. If you have a large house with many different rooms you'd like the robot to clean in one go (while you're not home for example) a higher end model is a better choice. If you have more open than closed spaces, this vacuum will work great. It really doesn't matter that it cleans in a random pattern, after a certain amount of time it will have cleaned the entire floor space. A few things I really liked about this Coredy model: *I have a few areas where the vacuum can drop, including stairs. The robot knows it's a drop and won't fall down. That said the owner's manual asks you to place a barrier to prevent it from falling, I'm assuming they're trying to cover all basis. They also sell magnetic strips that stop the robot wherever the strip is placed - I haven't tried them though, I don't really want those glued to my hardwood. *Floor saddles, I have 2 the robot needs to go over, I was afraid it wouldn't be able to but it does. I'm super happy because this way it'll clean a much larger area than I anticipated. *Rugs: admittedly we only have one medium sized area rug, and two small ones, the rest is hardwood. It does a good job with them though. *Remote control: easy to use, it has a number of different functions such as spot cleaning that I really like. You can also guide your robot wherever you want it to go by using the arrows on the remote. Kind of fun if you feel like you should be doing something instead of just watching a robot clean for you. There's no app for this model but you can set it to clean at a specific time everyday, before you get home from work for example. Cleaning the robot itself: the brushes easily come off for cleaning which is great because I seem to shed even more than my dog. My hair does get tangled in the brush but Coredy comes with a nice little tool that makes it really simple to clean. The dog hair gets picked up beautifully btw, I haven't seen my floor this clean since before we adopted our beagle mix 1 year ago. The dirt tray is easy to remove , empty and put back - my 6yr old daughter can do it. It also has a filter that is also easy to remove. You will get an extra filter and extra side brushes in the box. I can't speak for durability since I haven't had the robot long. Hope the review helps! I highly recommend this model.

Worth every penny
Reason for buying is that I have a dog that sheds constantly, so sweeping is a necessity on all hardwood flooring. This is only my second day using it. However, it has done such a great job at picking up dog hair, sand, and dirt. I made sure not to sweep the week prior to getting it. It has since picked up everything. The shipping was fast, next day delivery. Packaging was very nice, instructions were easy to understand. It is a bit louder than I expected it to be, nonetheless it is much quieter than your standard vacuum. If you have a tv going or fan in the room you can't hear it. I set the timer for it and woke up to it working (shows how quiet it is too) It can shut itself into a room if you have to leave the door open, so keep that in mind. But that has only happened in the bathroom since the door can't open all the way. It's pretty simple, just set it for a time of day you want it to clean, let it do its thing for 2 hours and you're good to go. The battery actually lasted 2.5 hours for me. It gets under my bed and dresser which I normally don't do on a daily basis. I have low profile furniture so it doesn't fit under there but that's not it's fault. The power of this thing is impressive. I don't see any problems with it for the future. Just make sure cords, lose clothing, paper, and anything that can get snagged under it (or anything you wouldn't run a regular vacuum over) is picked up and out of the way. For the price, it is well worth it. If you have a multi level home, I'd invest in 2 of them, one on each level, just for convenience. But it is definitely possible to just put it on the other level also. Update 08/27/2020 Nearly a year later and I would buy it again in a heart beat. I think this would also make a nice gift. I am thinking of purchasing a second one for another level in my home actually.. My initial review holds and I wouldn't change anything about this vacuum. With it being ran everyday, I find myself only emptying the bin every 3-4 days and cleaning the brushes once a week. The front caster wheel did begin squeaking but thankfully you can pop it out and clean under and around it. With that said give this a good cleaning at least once a month depending on how dirty it gets.

Great vacuum for my apt. with 2 cats!
Several years ago I had purchased a Neato vacuum can't remember the model number that I bought at Walmart. It was the worst purchase I ever made. Within 15 minutes after it started running I got an error message and every time I try to reset it it went right back into error mode. Rather then give myself a nervous breakdown LOL I brought it right back to Walmart for a refund and swore I would never buy another Robot vacuum LOL. However as the years have passed and I've done a lot of research I see that these things have gotten a lot more sophisticated and much better with new technology, so I decided to give this one a try. and I am so happy with this purchase. The price on Amazon was terrific when you consider that so many of these cost hundreds of dollars more. I will admit the much more expensive ones have more features but overall this thing does a great job. It has no problem going from my carpet on to area rugs & into the bathroom area and does not get stuck. I've only had it a few days and I am quite amazed at how perfectly it manages to travel back to it's charging station as soon as the battery gets low. It has a great flashing light that is so easy to read you you can see instantly when it flashes pink that it needs to be charged and then it goes right to its station. When it's fully charged the light turns a bright blue so easy to see. Emptying the dirt bin is as easy as can be you almost don't even need to look at the instructions! When you pull the thing out you can see how easily you can snap the filters in and out when needed. I will also mention that the motor is so quiet and actually has such a pleasant sound for a mechanical device that you could actually use this vacuum at 6AM in the morning easily and not disturb any of your neighbors if you live in an apartment.

Strong suction! But scheduled runs no longer work <1 year later
UPDATE 5/9: Less than a year later and this vacuum no longer starts automatically based on the schedule I set it for. I've emptied the bin, cleaned out the hair on the roller, and let it return to the charging station on its own. It still vacuums if I hit the power button manually, but I liked coming home to a clean home after work because the vacuum was supposed to run while I'm gone. It's becoming less automatic and I would like a resolution to this issue. ------------ OLD REVIEW: It's only day 2 and I'm already loving this new vacuum. Bought it to replace my old China-brand (inLife) robot vacuum that lasted ~4 years before the battery died (and I couldn't find a replacement online). Honestly feel that there's no need to spend half a grand on a Roomba when these last so long. First of all, these brushes seem substantial and low enough towards the floor. I was initially nervous that it'd push cat litter around but the sensors are pretty good on this thing (on light-colored hardwood floor) such that it'd reposition itself in order to suck up the cat litter. Secondly, this vacuum really gets around the edges quite carefully! The patterns it runs by make sure that it gets as close to the edges of your floors as possible. It also seems to do a great job on my low-ply carpet, getting all my long hair that was caught in the carpet when my old vacuum failed in doing so. If anything changes, I'll update this review, but so far so good!

Does what its made for! Pretty Cool!
I am a house keeper and a single parent , so coming home to clean is one of the last things I want to do; however I cant stand a messy house. I needed something to help me keep my place clean, so I decided to get the best vacuum robot I could afford. I came across the R3500 Coredy with its 1700Pa. I have been anxiously waiting for it to arrive. I just got it in yesterday evening and I am happy I bought it. Coredy cleaned my tile floors downstairs with out a problem. It is pretty quiet to were I wont bother my neighbors but I can still hear it; it gets louder when you pump up the suction power also. I was able to play a little and direct him to some larger problem areas. I was curious to see if it would pick up dog/cat food. It did not seem to have an issue there. I was impressed that it did not knock the water out of the water bowl; on its own. I did however knock the water out when I drove it in that direction. You will notice that it picks up speed when you do this (whoops). It did not seem to have a problem rolling over the water that did spill; but I dont think I want to try that again; just in case. Cool thing was I also had time to mop after which is huge!! I never get to mop! Today, I put it in my room, which is a medium carpet. It seemed to have covered my whole floor space. It stopped due to a full dust bin. My upstairs, since it is all carpet, usually fills up my shark duo, so Coredy being filled was not a surprise. Cleaning the robot took some effort since there was hair in the rollers, but I appreciated the little cleaning tool that it came with. The roller was easy to get out and get back in also. I had seen some other robot vacuums that had other features that I thought were cool. I had bought this one for the stronger suction power for the carpets. I do not regret that. All in all I think I am happy with this one and I like the remote. Watching it dock is one of the coolest and strangest things ever, lol!

Extremely satisfied with performance
It finds dust even if the floor appears to be clean. Easy to use and kids clean the house while playing with it as a remote control robot. Unfortunately price has more than doubled in just 10 days of my purchase of 1st unit for my parents.
