Good quality
Easy to put together and install.

Sturdy storage device
Well made and functional storage device. This gives you 2 sets of supports so you might need more than 1 set for your application.

Great wood racks, but...
I bought 2 of these wood racks to store extra material from projects I'm working on before cutting it down to size. They were easy to put together and are very sturdy. My only complaint is that they do not include the mounting hardware. Thankfully other reviewers pointed this out as well so I ran to the hardware store and picked up some 1/4" lag screws 3 1/2" in length as well as some washers. After drilling the pilot holes it was really easy to install them with a ratchet and the lag screws. If you're getting the 4 level/shelf mount you'll need 4 lag screws for each set (I needed 8 since I bought 2 racks)

Good product. Bad listing.
Order some lag screws when you order these, or run down to the hardware store and pick some up while waiting for the shipment to arrive. Contrary to the listing (in two places), all needed hardware is NOT included. I had to stop in the middle of my install to go buy some screws. Knocking off a star for the inaccurate listing. My installation is drywall over studs so I ended up using 1/4 X 4 timber screws. They are a bit more expensive then lag bolts but have a slightly more aggressive thread and are black so look good with the uprights. I would not go with 3" screws as recommended for a drywall install since this leaves very little of the screw in the stud.I got two sets of these and wanted to make sure all four uprights were precisely positioned relative to each other. Naturally, I made a jig and maybe describing it will make the install easier for others. First, I held a piece of 1/4 x 3" x 4' cutoff against the ceiling along a vertical level line and marked where I wanted the low end of the rack. I then used some #8 wood screws to attach one of the uprights to the wood with about 1/4" of screw sticking out the back. After locating a stud and marking a vertical level line, I held the jig against the ceiling with the screw points on the line and tapped it with a hammer to mark the holes. The marks don't have to be right on the line, just close enough to use as a reference. Then I drilled through the line at the same height as the reference marks. It took only about 10 minutes to find all the studs, mark, and drill all the uprights. The install checked out as perfectly level across all four bars. This was so much easier than trying to place the holes by measuring that I'd use a jig even if I had only two uprights to install.Because the horizontal bars fit around the upright, spacers are needed to hold the uprights away from the wall. These are round and indented in the front to hold them in line with the upright post. I found that the spacers have a habit of turning with the screw and if they get wedged out of alignment you have to back the screws out, line the spacers up and start over. Unless you have tiny fingers holding the spacers in alignment while tightening the screws is not an option. My solution was to thread the screws through the uprights, then slip the spacesr over the screws and attach them to the post with a small dot of CA glue for each. This not only kept the spacers aligned but also kept the screws from falling out. After installation I loaded them up with several 10-ft 2x6 & 2x4, plus some 6-ft pieces of the same, as well as all my long pieces of rough-sawn hardwoods, and a bunch of molding. The racks took everything I had to throw at them with no creaking under the weight and no visible flexing of the components. I'm very happy with the design and performance of the racks and would happily bump to 5 stars if I ever notice the listing corrected to state *prominently* that the buyer must supply mounting hardware.

Product is easy to install and sturdy, but came used and repackaged, but I'm good shape
UPDATE. I knocked two stars off, because I ordered a second set of these after having ordered my first set a couple days ago, and the second set also came used, and repackaged. Only this time, it was damaged. One of the gray brackets was bent in where the holes are, and the end caps were both broken because somebody had tried to shove them in after bending the bar. One of the orange horizontal bars also came scratched up. Just really bugs me when I buy something new, and the store tries to sell me something used. I have no problem buying something used, but sell it to me at a cheaper price, and give me the choice to buy it used. Don't try to sell me things as if they're new when they're not. This is my first time using this company, so I'm not too terribly pleased given that this happened with two separate orders. I put in a phone call to the company, but they're closed for the weekend. So now I have to wait to finish a project that I cleared my weekend to complete. And probably will have to wait a couple more days for the new delivery. So I'm a very frustrated customer right now. I'm hoping they'll just send me out the replacement gray and orange bar, so that I don't have to take down what I already put up, because I didn't notice that the fourth bar was bent until after I'd already had the third one up. The first set, as you can see in my initial review below, had been opened and repackaged, but wasn't damaged at all, so was able to be used without a problem. Hopefully the company will send me out replacements quickly, and won't require me to have to take this off and send it backThis product is fairly easy to install, and seems pretty sturdy. I like the size, but wish they had little end caps that angled up, to stop the wood from falling off. If I remember right, I think you could buy those separately. It would be nice if they were just made standard with the product. I'll probably make my own. I knocked a star off, because this came in a box of clearly had been opened and retaped. I think the product might have been used, but it seemed to be in good shape, so no problem in the long run. I just don't like to buy new products, that come to me used. This is my first time using this company, so hopefully these things will do the job, and last! This company was recommended to me on a website. I'm a 56-year-old woman with only moderate experience in handiwork, and these are pretty much a breeze for me to put up. The hardest thing was leveling them by myself. It wasn't too difficult. I would definitely recommend these. I'm going to order a second set, because I have some pretty long boards, and I think it would be more secure having four across the side of my barn, instead of two. Definitely glad I got these.

Great way to get some extra space
This works really well. It hangs in my garage and stores my wood out of the way and gives me some extra space since I like to pack my garage with extra stuff. I've had it for awhile and no issues I don't think about it. Setup was easy the hardest part was figuring out where to put it. I decided to put it up high where I need a ladder to get the top shelf.

A great rack!
Solid, simple, versatile and great value compared to alternatives. Already loaded up with lumber for much better shop organization. Looking forward to installing more!Only minor downside is not coming with screws for mounting, so be prepared when it comes time to assemble and install!
