(From the mrs.) I have a walkerhound, about 60 to 65lbs. And for the past 2 months, he has been biting the tip of his tail, neat his but. So much that there was blood over it. I always just thought it was anxiety stress from the other dogs, etc...never the less, he's still biting...all day, everyday, 24/7 day!! I felt so bad for him. The closest vet near us, wasn't taking any new dogs till, sept!! I was desperate. And I was very skeptical, I read every single, good, and bad reviews. I did my homework. I was expecting it to be kinda like our shampoo, kinda water based. But it was thick like our conditioner. It wasn't a disgusting smell, just a different, pungent smell. Like when you stub your toe, lol. I'm a rebel, I didn't use gloves & my hands DID NOT fall off!!! I was also worried if it would sting the area where he's been biting raw & the fur has been coming off. It did not! Whew!! He had the roughest fur. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten jabbed in the fingernail by his fur! Now, it's, so soft! And his coat is actually shiny! In other words....EXCELLENT STUFF, BUY IT! YOULL BE GLAD YOU DID!! Got this for my dog because they smelt like Fritos. I was told it was yeast. The product eliminated the yeast and made the skin clear up. Very expensive but worth every penny

I adopted a lab that has repeatedly suffered with skin rashes and infections. He chews his hair off when it is shedding time and ends up with either yeast or staff infections on raw skin. This shampoo is magic. The vet was not a lot of help - selling me very expensive creams and sometimes pills to treat infections or "allergies". When I bathe him weekly with this shampoo, he no longer scratches or chews on his skin. It works like magic and is the only durable solution I've found. It smells a little medicinal, but leaves my pup with a 'clean dog' odor that I like.

Just switched to this because the shampoo I was getting my dog was so expensive and wasn’t as big as this container. It is scent free but not a huge fan of the smell, that’s why I gave 4 stars however my dog does not like very scented shampoos. Great for the price, and does a great job cleaning. Do wish there was a pump with it. Highly recommend.

Amazing product, I'm not sure what my dog had. Fleas or mange, my friend thinks he got it somehow, and I had really strong flea spary so I assumed it wasn't that. I bought this and applied it to my dog, left it on h for 15 minutes, of course I had to scrub it until it got foamy. The first pic is of him when I decided to buy it. The second pic is after the first use. The third picture is of the second use. I applied it every 3 days and it came off. I really recommend anyone to buy this product it's amazing of course remember to discontinue use after your dog gets better as it says on the bottle, and do not put it in their eyes either. I recommend getting the gallon, get more for your money and it's worth it. If your dog has mange or fleas and bites a lot use it, the shampoo is so strong the smell of it stays on for days, and it's smells good too. 10/10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I bought this for my Jack Russell Terrier that had a bacterial skin infection and caused some hair loss. The fist bath I slathered it on, it's a good thick shampoo, and lathered it up really good, I let it sit for about 5 minutes then rinsed and reapplied it thickly again leaving it lathered up on him for about 10 minutes. Rinsed and was done. Right away I saw how much better he felt, not scratching at all, running around and he slept soundly. 2 days later I washed him again the same way. I gave him 2 baths a week for 2 weeks and this shampoo has worked wonders, he gets one bath a week now with it and you can see a great change in his hair and skin, he's happier and more playful. Great Product

The smell is horrendous, but I did notice flakes and dirt falls off my dog's coat.
