These work exactly as expected and are really versatile. They do run a little small in my opinion, but not enough to cause any major issues. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it still is to grab and handle things while wearing them. They provide great protection when I'm working around my knives, without feeling so bulky that I can't get anything done. They're also easy to clean and dry pretty quickly, which is always a plus. You get two of them in the package as well, so the value is pretty good for the price. Overall, they're comfortable, protective, and easy to work in. I'd definitely recommend them.

To begin with the manufacturer states quite clearly in the literature and in a pre-delivery welcoming e-mail that these are NOT CUT PROOF only CUT RESISTANT. If you try hard enough you can cut yourself even when wearing them. They are also not puncture resistant at all, so you can stick a sharp needle or a skewer or the tip of a knife into your hand if you are not careful. They also tell you not to do anything stupid like attempting to test them on your own hands to see how much they can take... ...But of course I needed to know if I could trust them, so I tested them using a ridiculously sharp chef's knife from my kitchen... but not on my hand. I slipped a very ripe lemon into the glove and keeping my hands out of the way, but stretching the fabric taught across the lemon, sliced across the palm of the glove to see if the fabric cut or the lemon suffered. At first I was quite gentle; then I upped the pressure a little; then I bore down pretty firmly. A pressure that would be near the upper limits of what I would use in the kitchen during normal use... ( If I had to bear down any harder than that while cooking or prepping normally I'd transition to a non-hand-held setup of some sort.) This testing resulted in NO slices on the glove and NO damage to the lemon within. A quick check of the knife blade showed no immediate damage or dulling as a result, which is good. It would stink to destroy a good blade because it happened to touch the glove briefly while slicing. I doubt you could constantly bring the edge of your blade into contact with the glove and expect no blade wear at all, but a momentary contact once in a while isn't going to destroy your fine edge. About the fit: These are very stretchy gloves. They fit snug to your hands. I got extra large and when I unpacked them I thought they looked to be too small, but they actually fit nicely. A good snug stretchy fit makes it so that you are not fumbling when handling things. I call that a plus. They are porous, so if you are handling juicy meats or veggies directly they will probably soak through. You wash them in soap and water and air dry them. So far that has been pretty easy for me to do. Because they are a type of fabric if you are handling raw foods and meats you really have to wash them each time. If you used these regularly in a kitchen you might find getting several pairs worthwhile so that you always have a clean pair available while another is in the wash. So far I am very impressed. First Review: "No complaints or praises yet"... The gloves arrived very quickly and they fit me well enough to be content with them. Since they are teflon, I didn't expect fantastic comfort or a soft feel, but they are not uncomfortable. I'm not sure what rating to give these gloves because I have only used them once without any accidents that would make the gloves useful. Until I actually have an accident or try to cut myself, there is no way to know how effective the gloves are or are not. I have never had another pair of gloves that make this claim, so I have nothing to compare them to either. I give them 3 stars because 4 seems too high for not having any thing praiseworthy to say yet and two is obviously too negative for no complaints. While I am not normally one to say much about this, it sometimes becomes annoying to get emails from vendors begging for a review or making the "help me because I'm a small business" plea. This is one of those businesses that you will get these emails from. If they don't bother you, so be it. If they do, then you are informed in advance and now can just expect it. Here is what you'll see: "Like most small businesses, we're very fragile and need your support to thrive. I don't know this person from Adam, so why would he ask me to do him a personal favor? Just sayin'! UPDATE: So, a good time for testing these gloves came along when Thanksgiving Day arrived. It was time to carve the turkey and that is usually a slick and dangerous event for me. This year I put the gloves on and was able to hold onto the turkey and slice the bird with my electric knife. I was apprehensive at first, but then quickly realized that I was able to handle the bird without slipping and have the protection from cuts at the same time! It was fantastic and made the job easier and safer than it had ever been. Also, as for cleaning the gloves, I'm not afraid to get the gloves messy with food and then throw them into the washing machine to clean them for the next time. Seems to be working fine. Still only 4 stars because I haven't really tried to cut myself and still cannot attest to the true "no cut" effectiveness. I'll save that for the next review when the unfortunate occasion happens.

Good and sturdy gloves. These gloves do in fact work as advertised in protecting the fingers with sharp tools like the mandolin slicer, however they are not cut proof, but they are cut resistant, so caution must still be applied as if you were not wearing gloves. The material was cut, but the gloves did protect my thumb from being cut and for that I give these gloves a big thumbs up for doing their job. 👍 I'm back bragging about these gloves again, there has been a few more times my fingers would have been severely cut but the gloves took the cut and my fingers are still safe. I highly recommend these gloves to protect your fingers from that Julian slicer.

After receiving two emails from the company, I felt compelled to write a review. One of the main reasons is because I read a lot of reviews when purchasing items and since 50% of my shopping is done on Amazon I want to give my honest and non-bias opinion on my experience; as I rely on others for the same. To be straight, I have been beginning to see a pattern in which some products (good & bad) always seem to be on the first page of searches and sometimes even hold the title as being Amazon's #1 Best Seller; such as these NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves. Lately, my gutt has been warning me that some of these products representing Amazon's best are truly nothing more than a gimmick. Perhaps, it’s because they pay an additional amount of their sales to allow Amazon to warehouse the items making it that much faster to get to our door step. Not exactly sure, but I feel that after years of purchasing, I have been noticing this trend occur much more over the past couple of years. Unfortunately in this case, I, like you followed the crowd and selected what product received the most accolades. Regarding NoCry Gloves; which are made from thin light material; which at first can be a bit intimidating since some reviews have mentioned cutting into the gloves with a knife. Quite frankly I was a bit concerned when using my mandoline to slice some veggies and for good reason. My first and last experience I had wasn't the best; as the tip of the fingers made contact with the mandoline blade; which wouldn't have happened if I didn't have the gloves on. What happened exactly was, when the gloves were close enough the amount of room between my fingers and the gloves (spacing) was enough to snag and caught the fabric tearing the fabric of the glove. It didn't rip the glove or harm my finger, but it was enough to know that I would never have complete confidence that these gloves would protect my fingers. Moreover, because the fabric allows room to be caught on items; such as a mandoline, one most tread with caution when wearing them and not "assume" these gloves are going to protect you. I know what you are thinking, the gloves must have been two small, right? They actually fit extremely snug around the hands and it was only at the fingers were there is some wiggle room. Maybe they should have more than just two sizes; as we can’t expect everyone to have the same size hands, fingers, nails, etc. From past experience, I do know there are gloves out there that can full protect your hands and they are not as light and a bit more expensive, but definitely my next option for using my mandolin on certain foods that the prongs holding device the mandoline had included. Bottom-line and based on the seller’s emails, I am sure they will refund you the money and yeah that's nice.. But if you are like me, it's not about the refund; as much as it is having made the right purchase for a good product with actual good reviews to purchase and not have to waste any further time processing a return and trying on another pair of gloves. QUICK UPDATE: Received an email from a very humble and polite Manager for the company. Customer service for this company is on par, as that was never the issue. The main issue; which they already know about is the stitching for the finger-tips. "Fingertips are a weak spot for our gloves as you also experienced. I do hope we manage to improve it in near future." It's kind of a big deal in my opinion since this issue can cause your finger to get snagged on slicing machines or in my case a mandoline.

If you are like me and prone to cutting yourself when preparing food in the kitchen, then you too will find these gloves a heaven send. They fit firmly around the palm and fingers and honestly take away the feeling of anxiety when dealing with sharp knives or objects in the kitchen. They are so easy to wash after being in contact with raw meat and are made to last. I only wish I had discovered these sooner.
