Great quality product, could be better designed.
I purchased this because of the high percentage of 5star reviews and when I got it I was impressed at the quality, though I've only had it 3 days I feel certain it'll work for years. The impressive things: 1 The sound quality is noticeably more clear with more dynamics and more volume than a 6 foot Belkin male to RCA stereo cable. 2 It is a shielded heavy duty cable and has a brushed thick metal sleeve over the base of the male 3.5 plug and the two RCA plugs, with flexible plastic sleeves under and protruding beyond the the metal sleeves, as not to let the metal cut in to the cable. The not so impressive things: 1 It should've had a side tension relief piece before the male plug and RCA plugs - like seen on most 3.5mm plugs. 2 The 3.5mm male plug base should've been shorter in length so it doesn't protrude more than a half inch out from 3.5mm audio jack. There've been quite a few reviewers who had trouble with the small inside diameter of the male RCA plugs' collets, but I was able to increase the diameter of the collet by opening a small pair of needle-nose pliers in the end of the plugs to gently bend the brass fins of the RCA collet and bending out all 6 in sets of 2. But the ID of the collets is good, given that you can bend them to accommodate varying sized female plugs, with a better 'custom contact'. Summary: The good far out weighs the bad and considering the build quality, sound quality and the price (I paid $10.99, free shipping) compared to name brands like Belkin from Wal-Mart for $10, it is an excellent buy. P.S. I didn't compare this to the Belkin PureAV RCA Audio Cable-12ft $8.89 Belkin PureAV RCA Audio Cable-12ft (equivalent), they are both double shielded but Belkin does advertise "Delivers better audio clarity and a more natural-sounding midrange with superior-grade, 99.99 percent pure copper conductors", but MediaBridge probably has the same or better cable and offers a 1 year warranty and a toll-free hotline.

Great Cable
I was looking for a cable that would connect our Android MP3 (Samsung Galaxy) or Apple iPad Mini to my Bose Acoustic Wave System. I wanted the cable to be long enough to stretch accross the room so I could have my device beside me, and not have to get up if I wanted to change something. I checked many local merchants, and found that they all carried 3 and 6 foot length cables. Since I wanted something longer, I ultimately decided on this 25 ft cable from Mediabridge. I purchased this cable on Amazon from Mediabridge Products, LLC, and have been very pleased. The cable came in a sealed box (not plastic bag) in perfect condition. The box and label were both clean and pristine. The label provided a product description, SKU, Part #, QTY, website, and UPC Symbol. Clearly the box has nothing to do with the quality of the product inside, but the presentation gave me a positive feeling that I had purchased something really good. When I opened the box I was equally pleased with the product. The RCA jacks are very heavy, the cable is nice quality, and the 3.5 mm end has a plastic cap to keep it clean when not in use. I wanted a good quality cable that would last and not need to be replaced soon because the wires break, or the ends fail, etc. This cable has a good feel, and is easy to wind up when not in use. The quality is nice, and I don't ever expect to replace it. The only thing I struggled with was when I installed it, the RCA jacks were tight going on. Since I don't plan on taking them off, it is a non-issue for me, and I like knowing that they are secure in place. The sound quality has been superb, and I am very pleased with this product! The only negative I can say is that the box says Made in China. Originally when I made this purchase, I was undecided between this cable and another brands 50 ft cable with a lifetime warranty, but I must say I have absolutely no regrets with my decision. Additionally, there was a small pamphlet inside the box which tells a little about Mediabridge. Their cabling and connectivity products have been used since 1998 under various brand names sold directly to commercial broadband providers. In 2008, they began offering their products directly to consumers. They have made some promises to the consumers which include: 1. Not selling products through retailers that add huge markups 2. When you call during business hours, an American based representative will take your phone call 3. They will never outsource customer service or technical support to any foreign country 4. To treat customers, employees, and business partners with respect and dignity Mediabridge is located in Cherry Hill, NJ and can be found at [...]

I have a number of cables from them and each works beautifully. The connections are solid
I'm sold on Mediabridge products. I have a number of cables from them and each works beautifully. The connections are solid. The cable is sturdy and durable without being stiff. The 3.5mm plugs are stepped to that they will fit in nearly any 3.5mm socket. The RCA plugs fit tightly but can be inserted with a little extra effort and the use of anti-oxidation grease (usually used for connections of aluminum wire and available wherever electrical hardware is sold. WARNING Do NOT use regular lubricating grease.). The anti-oxidation grease allows high conductivity while lubricating the connection. (The grease won't harm the gold plating on the connectors, it merely lubricates the fitting while allowing the signal to flow freely through the grease coating) The cables are solidly attached to connectors. And finally, the cable prices are reasonable for such good quality cables. It's possible to spend much more on cables for a "possible" improvement in quality and durability but to me the prices represent a good 'bang for the buck'.

Your system is only as good as it's weakest link (in this case - cable)!
I discovered Mediabridge products earlier this year (2012) when I needed more cables and some longer cables to completely finish setting up my Home Theater System in the new AV cabinet I purchased. The StudioTech U-22T-BS A/V cabinet is 72" long, with 3 bays for storing/installing all your audio gear. But due to room restrictions, all the components that I already had perfectly working Monster cables for, had to be installed in the right bay, which wouldn't you know it, was on the opposite side of all the inputs and output connections on my flat panel TV. I wanted all my cables to be concealed inside the cabinet, but in some cases, the ones I already owned were either too short or too short to be completely concealed. Hence, the reason I needed new cables. So, like any other compulsive audiophile, I did my research to find new high quality cables in the lengths I needed, without having to put up a second mortgage on my home in order to afford them on my current budget restrictions. That's how I discovered Mediabridge products on Amazon.com. Every cable I found for my needs had great specifications as well as great customer reviews. So I took a chance and ordered a few cables to personally test them and to verify for myself if they lived up to their reported performance specs as well as my expectations. My first purchases were for 2 new Toslink Fiber Optic Audio Cables. At first glance, I could see the quality as well as I could feel the quality of these cables. Very well constructed, no "weak" areas and very flexible. Then I installed them to test them out. I could not tell the difference between my big $$ Monster cables. I did the switch-a-rooney test (A/B test) and still found no difference in sound or in quality. Toslink cables have that unique styled connector which fits very snug into the input connectors on your audio components. Sometimes you have to give them a real tug before they come out. The Mediabridge were snug put held together with no issues or concerns. So I figured the next set of cables I needed, I would try to find made by Mediabridge. To this day, I believe the quality and performance is outstanding. Then when you factor in the cost, that's when I put Mediabridge above the competition. I do not have instruments to measure the signals but I believe if I can't see or hear a difference, then I don't need any further evidence or proof that Mediabridge products are high quality products and give you the best bang-for-your-buck. I will continue to purchase Mediabridge products in the future if they have the cable I'm looking for. I highly recommend Mediabridge products for anyone that wants high-end performance with sacrificing any quality.

Plug too long for iPhone 4
The whole thing is really nice quality, and the price is great. I've used this cable to hook up my computer and a 6th generation iPod classic to my receiver and had no qualms with the sound quality. However, when I use this cable with my iPhone 4, I can't even think about touching the iPhone without the plug slipping out of the headphone jack, which stops playback, and is probably the most annoying electronics experience I've had in a while. The plug does not go all the way into the jack. It's too long by maybe 1/4 of a millimeter, I really don't know how tiny a measurement you'd need, but it doesn't go all the way in, and it seems this totally compromises the plug-jack bond so that I cannot budge the iPhone without risking loss of contact between the tip of the plug and the bottom of the jack. It doesn't slip out completely, in fact the plug *seems* to remain secure in the jack. What happens is pretty much any movement of the device, any slight tug on the cable will pull out the plug by about the same fraction of a millimeter as the length of the plug that sticks out of the jack. It slips out a maddeningly small length, and this stops playback and is really really annoying, especially when I'm using headphones. Talk about killing a buzz, I had the drama and excitement sucked out of so many songs and inspirational videos and whatever, all joy sucked out completely by this abrupt stoppage, wondering what the hell was wrong with my iPhone, until I realized it was just this damn plug being too long and not fitting all the way inside the jack. I can't speak for any other iPhones or devices, but definitely watch out for this. Otherwise a good product.

Well Made Cable
A friend of mine got this cable for me and I must say I am very impressed with the quality. I have these hooked to my comp with output from my IPOD NANO 6th Gen and they work great. I do not easily impress, I own several monster cable products some are well made and work great and some do not. These on the other hand, I rate as good or better then the well known monster cable brand. The cost of these is very reasonable for the quality. What you get is a well made cable that works great, is pretty thick, I would say around 4 or 5 mm, but is also very flexible this is important I had other cheaper cables that were fairly thick but very stiff, not so with these ... also the RCA Connectors are also of high quality the gold plating finish also appears to be quite good and fit nice and tight just like monster connectors. Another nice touch that is mostly only seen in better higher priced cables is they come in a small box nicely coiled in a circle so the cables don't come all crimped up with a wire tie as do all cheaper cables. For me this is really a plus I hate trying to straighten out and recoil or get all the kinks out of cables shipped in that inferior fashion. Overall these seem to be great cables. I am very happy with these and would buy other MediaBridge products in the future if they maintain this level of quality and pricing.

Very, VERY, impressed!
Over the past couple of months, I find myself becoming more and more of an audiophile. Not in the pretentious sense, though. I'm becoming more attuned to the differences in quality products versus your Radioshack finds. My wife's sound system for her gaming PC, a cheap on from Newegg, was torn up by one of her puppies. We needed to stay on a budget, so buying a nice new, quality sound system is currently, out of the question. So, I rigged her speakers to a 3.5mm jack. It worked but, sounded horrible. We bought the Lepai T-Amp($24 w/ shipping). Excellent decision. Wired up to the existing speakers, it out performs the original amp by leaps and bounds. We then picked up a pair of 6.5" Bookshelf speakers from Monoprice ($40 w/ shipping) to replace the little speakers from the the first setup. It's a no brainer but, wow, big difference there. So, now you know the setup. The Lepai is tied to the sound card via a 3.5" jack. I bought the Mediabridge 3.5 to RCA in hopes of cheaply increasing audio quality. Which, I will get to in a minute. Build Quality: This cable is thick and heavy. The connections feel solid, they even come with protective caps for shipping. The RCA seems to be gold plated. Connections are nice and tight, so no slipping off its connection terminal. Packaging: Basic, brown, cardboard box. No padding, just tape to keep the box shut. This isn't a complaint; it's just a cable. Sound Quality: In comparison to the 3.5mm jack I was using ($7 Radioshack), this thing is phenomenal. The music produced from the speakers is clearer and more defined. Low-end increased slightly, while highs are brighter. Mids are definitely there. Now I know all this is from the signal going to the RCA connection. Though, currently, I don't know what. Anyway; this cable is a nice piece to tie together my wife's budget PC sound system. We came out to $80 w/ shipping, total.

This is a good cable the worked well for my application, I would buy it again!
I recently installed a digital media projector and I needed to run the stereo output port from the projector to my stereo system. I needed a cable that was 25 feet long and it had to have a 3.5 mm stereo plug on one end and have two male RCA plugs for the left and right audio on the other end. This Mediabridge cable fit those needs and the connectors on both ends of the cable were gold plated. I tested the cable before I ran it in the ceiling and it worked fine. I did find that the RCA plugs were very tight on my stereoโs RCA ports. I opened up the part of the RCA plug that pushes onto the stereo female audio input ports. I just used a pair of long nose pliers. This was a good cable that sold at a fair price and the quality was good and it worked for my needs. I would buy it again and I rated it 5 stars. I installed the cable and it has worked for almost 2 years without a problem.

RCA connectors are too tight
Like other reviews have said, the RCA connectors don't fit because they are too tight, this must be a manufacturer oversight or poor quality control. Two other cables I have do fit, so it's definitely a problem with this mediabridge branded cable. You could maybe force it but risk breaking the RCA port on the device.

Go For It. It's A Damn Good Cable.
Received the cable today. I ordered this to eliminate the interference which usually noticeable when your speaker volume is high and you are using a regular quality audio input cable. The length is around 1.8 meter. Connectors / jacks are superb, rigid, tight and made of metal outer shield to eliminates even the slightest noise. Go ahead if you are audiophile and you hate interference or humming sound from the speaker which caused by poor audio input cable and it's super poor shielding.

Nice, sturdy cable
Nice, sturdy cable. Connectors are a little tight fit. But hey, it's just a connector, yank it out harder if it doesn't come out smoothly. Don't know what the negative reviews are about. I'm pretty happy with it. Cheers
