XL Real Grass Puppy Pee Pads, Dog Litter Box Alternative 24x48

We've been using DoggieLawn since the previous "real grass" company we bought from on Amazon went out of business. I'd say we have purchased around 8-10 sod pieces from DoggieLawn so far. Always had a great experience until the last purchase 2 weeks ago. Sod arrived dark, like grass was dead or dying and smelled horribly rotten. We just couldn't use it. Our pups would barely get on it, sniffing it nonstop....it wasn't...good. We contacted DoggieLawn and they were more than willing to work with us, shipping a free replacement with zero hassle. Very much appreciated. Very responsive with our messages. We, of course, will continue to be DoggieLawn customers and highly recommend them for your real grass sod pee pad needs. Thank you!

Been buying the same grass sections off Chewy. Chewy charges $22 more per piece and it’s the same thing . Always fresh and green. We use them in our catio. Our cats love them

ETA: Not one delivery has been on time. Otherwise I have loved the doggy lawn while I was resuming my puppy but I can’t wait to never need one again! Just ordered my last one and yes- it’s late! I got a puppy about a month ago and also live in a third floor apartment. After running myself ragged trying to run my last puppy (and some foster puppies) up and down three flights of stairs, I decided to give myself a break and try these potty grass pads. They are a life saver. They make transitioning to fully going outside much easier. I don’t like to use turf as my dogs are sport dogs and we sometimes trial on turf- I don’t want them thinking it’s a potty pad! I do have to replace this about every 2-3 weeks but I don’t mind since it’s temporary. I’m not sure if there’s a way to make it last longer, but I’m too lazy to figure it out. 🤭 It does start to smell a little once it’s becomes saturated, of course but replacing every 2-3 Weeks keeps it from getting bad. And of course picking up the poop every time! I have used both Fresh patch and doggylawn and don’t notice a big difference! Mine have been nice out of the box and great for what they are meant for!

Section 1: The Sniff Test Enter stage right: DoggieLawn, a grassy haven that turned my living room into a slice of doggie paradise. Now, picture my skeptical Beagle, Sherlock, whose detective nose knows no bounds. Sherlock approached this verdant patch with the intensity of a four-legged Sherlock Holmes. Yet, once he deemed it worthy, it was a case closed! The real grass texture had him fooled, or should I say, "pawsitively" convinced. Section 2: Setup - Easier Than Teaching Sit Let's talk setup – I popped open the box faster than my pup's reaction to the word "treat". Saying it was simple is like saying dogs love belly rubs – a massive understatement. No tools, no fuss, and voilà, Sherlock was auditioning for "America's Next Top Potty User". Section 3: The Nose Knows - Smell Ya Later! Now, onto the sniff-sensitive part - odors. Sherlock's previous pee pads were a fragrant reminder of his indoor escapades. But DoggieLawn? It's like the grass whispered sweet nothings to the wee molecules, magically neutralizing them. I tipped my hat to Mother Nature's odor-busting skills. Section 4: Eco-Warrior Canine Edition Feeling green? So is DoggieLawn, literally and figuratively. My plastic pad guilt has vanished, like a squirrel after a stern bark. This patch is as eco-friendly as it gets – no eternal landfill legacy here. We're talking about a biodegradable bonanza that makes both Mother Earth and my furry friend do a happy dance. Section 5: The Living Room Lawn Phenomenon Design-wise, DoggieLawn is like the grassy knoll of indoor dog potties. It's as if a piece of the great outdoors waltzed into my home, sans mud and bugs. Sherlock approves, and I'm not tripping over an eyesore that screams "indoor toilet." Section 6: Paw-Support Hotline Customer service? More like customer delight! The DoggieLawn crew deserves a belly rub of their own. They've been the supportive friend through every step of Sherlock's potty pilgrimage, with tips and encouragement that would make a dog wag. Final Verdict: If DoggieLawn were a movie, I'd give it two thumbs and four paws up. It's the Meryl Streep of pet grass – versatile, loved by all, and deserving of an award. For those on the journey of potty training, eco-conscious living, or just seeking an indoor green space for Fido to frolic, DoggieLawn is your ticket to a cleaner, greener paw-lifestyle. It's not just a product, it's a backyard revolution in a box. Grab one and join the pawsome parade!

Absolutely worst! Fly infested and smelled terrible. And the fact that they want me to mail it back to them!?! Gross! Will not use DoggieLawn ever again. Was a mess to clean up after hoping it would possibly work. Glad I kept my other Fresh Patch until I can order a replacement.

Have been ordering from DoggieLawn since Jan 2026 when I got a puppy. Pros: -arrives in my Kansas location about 3-4 business days after ordering, sooner than expected based on original shipping date cited by Amazon -recyclable cardboard box, wrapped in plastic with gloves for changing -puppy took to it right away and now by April is pretty nearly potty trained indoors with it -lasts about 2 weeks before ammonia smell from urine is unbearable for both the puppy and I -grass itself is thick and the root system seems to absorb the actual urine liquid quite well so it's nearly dry when I roll it up at replacement time -swapping the grass out couldn't be easier Cons: -FLIES AND A GRUB IN LAST TWO SHIPMENTS!!! Up until the last two shipments, the grass was always pest free and beautiful. In the last two shipments the grass appears to be of a different variety and the blades are thicker and not quite as beautifully densely packed as the original grass, almost like cole slaw rather than a rich bed of grass, where 30% of the grass blades were actually thick and white. And there was a literal GRUB AND MULTIPLE SMALL FLIES COMING FROM THE GRASS. The most recent grass also had flies, though less. -the plastic wrap it comes in often is open, not adequately covering the entire roll effectively and often the box is broken and I imagine this allows a lot of pests in en route as well as the grass itself to dry out. I think this is a combo of poor packing and shipment jostling, but come on, this is DoggieLawn's whole business, there is a deficit here Aside from this, I recommend the real grass approach to everyone as it has been a lifesaver raising this puppy, especially in the winter. June 2026 update: still happy with the lawn overall but shipment couldn’t be worse. Images are of recent delivery, bug infested. You gotta be joking. Hope doggie lawn can make it right.

Dogs love it Saves time and energy for me

I have been using Doggie Lawn for almost a year. I moved into a condo with 2 patios so I made one an outdoor potty area for 2 Huskies. I was pretty concerned as they had a yard previously, but they had no issues. Shipping is fast and the grass is always fresh and smells like grass. I appreciate the disposable gloves to roll up the old lawn too. I read other reviews and I do not agree with the grass not lasting. It’s pretty simple, the more your dog uses it, the sooner you’ll need to replace it. No brainer.
