Very high quality!
Still works to this day and is built very well. The build quality is excellent. The connectors are strong and the cable is high quality.

New computer so new Power Strip - powers all my computer devices
Like the number of outlets it has. Replaced 2 power strips with just this one power strip. Has a very long very heavy duty 3 plug cord so strip can easily handle 4 or more AC/DC adapters and still have room for all your 110 plugs. Helped clean up the look of all the wires under my desk.

Worth EVERY single penny I paid for it!
Did exactly what it was supposed to. I've had this surge protector for five years. Never had an issue with it. Today, one of my cats knocked over a 30 ounce glass of tea, right onto the surge protector. Not only did the surge protector shut everything down, not one single piece of my electronics was damaged. The surge protector is now dead and I've ordered another Belkin which should arrive tomorrow. Definitely worth every penny I pad for it.

Invest in a good surge protector like this - little cost for very good protection for the money
MARCH 2017: I usually only do reviews for 5 star and 1 star items. In this case, give this surge protector 5 stars. Over 30 years, I lived in multiple states in the Southern USA - Florida,Georgia, and Texas, and the lightning storms are the worse in that part fo the country. I mean brutal! House rattling. Extreme. And sometimes with hail besides. And we also had brown-outs. Around 2007, one of our homes was hit by lightning; it blew out the outside floodlights, burned a hole in the roof, and we lost some electrical devices, BUT WE LOST NO DEVICE that was plugged into a surge protector. It did burn out all the surge protectors we had -- I think 5 of them. And depending upon your home or apartment insurance company, you may get reimbursed for them if you ever get hit. I bought 3 of these over a few months. I selected the model with ETHERNET protection, not the USB port version. If you need extra USB ports to charge your devices, buy one of the multi-port boxes (sold on AMAZON) that are about 3 inches by 3 inches in size and have AC on one end and 4 or more USB ports. Plug this into your surge protector. The features of this BELKING POWER STRIP include: - power on/off switchwith green led power on light - surge protection for your DVR, or cable or satelite receiver (if they get their signal from a coax cable) - includes EMI / RFI filtering to remove these "noise" signals which can give you "buszzes" or "hums" in the audio of your TV or surround sound system. - surge protection for your cable modem or router, if it gets its signal from an ethernet cable - 12 outlets and surge protection for each; 6 of these are on the outer edge so it should accomodate the power transformers (the black boxes with an AC plug) for some devices like printers, a TV sound bar, cable modem, etc - heavy duty power cable to run to the AC outlet Buy from AMAZON a quad-shielded (that is the amount of signal insulation around the inside cable) RG6 coax cable. Pick a length like 4 feet or so. Your coax from the wall goes into the surge protector "COAX IN". Then run this new RG6 cable from the surge protector "COAX OUT" to your DVR /cable / satelite receiver. Buy (from AMAZON) an ethernet patch cable. Similar to the coax cable, run the existing cable from the wall into the surge protector "IN". Then use your patch cable to run from the surge protector "OUT" to your cable modem or router. NOTE: I've never made a claim to any surge protector company; most include damage "insurance" with the purchase of the surge protector for devices you plug into the surge protector. Keep your receipts for all purchases. Personally, I'd rather buy a good surge protector than rely on a claim for a burnt out 60" TV or expensive audio equipment, and expect to get paid without a lot of hassle. Do they depreciate the device - e.g. a $2,000 TV from 2 years ago that sells for $600 today ? How much would you get? Do they only pay you what your home insurance does not pay for? Who knows.

Good power strip for various uses
I have one of the older model, and have been pleased with it, so I decided when I needed another one to give the new model a try. I like the outlet layout, and am glad they removed the slide covers from the older model. I feel like they could have added a bit more space between the center outlets and the side outlets to accommodate those large plugs. So keep that in mind, you may end up with blocked outlets one way or another. The cord is plenty long, but a bit stiff so if you don't have to use the full length you'll want a strong cable tie or velcro fastener to tidy up the extra length. The flat plug is also a plus, though I wish they had put in the rotating plug that they have on other models of strips. My main gripe, which echoes a lot of other reviews on here, is that gosh-darned power button! It's really loose so it doesn't take much pressure to toggle, it's huge, and being right on the top it is far too easy to accidentally press. Otherwise, it's still the best 12-outlet strip with extra-wide slots available. I do hope Belkin addresses the power button issue, as well as the spacing when they release a new model.

Protected electronics from a lightning strike surge!
This surge protector worked really well, with the plugs spaced out to easily accommodate chargers of varying sizes. Where I'm really glad I bought this was when it protected several hundred dollars of electronics when our power line was struck by lightning. The surge protector took the brunt of the force, protecting my equipment when other things throughout the house were fried. I'll definitely be purchasing more from this brand in the future.

Perfect for all those Flat, Small Brick, Large Brick, Sideways Plugs, and Regular plugs you need!
Perfect for my needs! Monitor plugged in, fan heat sync, plugged in, electric standing desk plugged in, Mac plugged in, extra drives plugged in. Works great! Will be purchasing a second one soon. Price may seem high, but if you have as many electronics as I do, you won't mind paying a little more for something that will handle ALL of your electronics.

Belkin quality
Pros - 12 ports! - Ethernet, coaxial and phone line protection - Low profile head - On/Off switch Cons - Price? I bought this product soon after a power surge fried my three year old laptop's DC jack and motherboard. Though pricey, the protection it offers is invaluable. That being said, I got mine for only 20 dollars from a seller that handled their own shipping. Of further note, the on/off switch is extremely handy when trying to limit phantom power draw from your connected devices, though I still make it a practice to unplug the surge protector whenever its not in use. I'm sure you'll agree that unplugging one plug from its socket is better than twelve... The Ethernet, coaxial and phone line sockets allow this unit to provide total isolation for your system. Do remember though that the product has a maximum wattage rating of 1875W (this information is missing from the 8 feet product page), so take care to not overload it.

This power bar with surge protection has a warranty that protects electronics plugged into it from damage for up to $100,000 in damage. With this kind of guarantee, I don't think you could get a better power bar! I am impressed with the number of outlets, the long cord, solid build and quality. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this power bar because the 6-outlet power bars aren't cutting it anymore, especially while working from home. The spacing between the outlets and the design of this power bar is ideal. It's a bit larger than I expected but I realize this is necessary. I'm not clear on the warranty associated with this product (how to register, etc.) but I will look into it some more. The long cord is very useful although not necessary for my needs since I was able to place my desk fairly close to an outlet in my office, but it would be helpful in other spaces.
