I have tried several different mileage trackers, but t his is by far the best one. The phone apps don't always work, especially if you forget to turn them on, and sometimes my car is driven by my wife or my mother and so all the miles don't get recorded. I've used the Mileage Ace for over a year now and love it! The report it produces at the end of the year is perfect and it is sooooo easy to maintain your records. The fact that it automatically uploads my trips makes it very simple. I just log on every few days and write in the reasons for my mileage. The button that switches between personal and business miles is also a fantastic feature, and if I make a mistake and forget to switch it, editing when I am logged in is a snap. I highly recommend the Mileage Ace. I was able to claim $11,000 in deductions last year, so the monthly fee is well, well worth it. I have a Prius and I mounted it on the lower part of the console so that I can see it and hit the button to switch between business and personal miles, but it is out of the way and right next to the power jack. Stop writing on paper or fooling around with phone apps and get the Mileage Ace, you will feel very smart that you did.

I looked at the low-star reviews, and was on the fence about if this would be a good product.I must say though, I'm pretty impressed so far! It tracks my route accurately, it connects to the wifi from the street, and I can categorize trips and run reports from the website.I haven't poked at the hardware itself too much. I have a little cubby that I store it in while driving. This cubby will glow all sorts of colors, which I could see as being distracting/blinding if the hardware was out in the open. I have not tested the different brightness modes yet.All in-all, worth the investment, I say. If the Est. Deduction on the website is accurate, its paid for itself x3 over so far, and we're not even out of the Free Trial period.

I have tried a dozen mileage trackers and each of them had their pros and cons. I have been using Mileage Ace for a week now and am VERY UPSET that I didn't FIND THIS PRODUCT EARLIER!!! IT IS AMAZING!!! You can merge trips, which is priceless. With other apps, there are times where I stop to get gas or pick up something real quick and now I have 2, 3 or 4 trips sometimes with the same business purpose. Especially the apps that are tied to my Bluetooth in my car. If I lose Bluetooth connection then it doesn't realize I am in my car or if I lose Bluetooth connection for a minute, then it shows 2 separate trips. Now, I can merge all of the stops into a single trip (Just be sure to refresh the page after you merge!!!!)Mileage Ace doesn't have ANY of these issues, it is HYPER accurate and you can program in default locations and clients, which REALLY helps since I am a Realtor and can just set the seller's house as a saved destination with the default client and default purpose. This way, every time I go to their house, Mileage Ace AUTOMATICALLY logs it as business and attaches them as the client.......AMAZING!!!!

I purchased this product around September 2016. It has been a big help in allowing me to keep track of my business and personal mileage. Although my home Wifi is strong, there is still some minor difficulty in getting the data to upload. I have also noticed that if one has a weak battery, and don't use the car for a few days, leaving the Mileage Ace plugged in may drain the battery to the point where the car won't start. I have encountered this problem a couple of times. But, report generation is relatively simple and straightforward. I have looked into several different products like this one (there are not many) and it appeared to me, back then, that it was the most cost-effective.

It's been working all the time I drive and always uploads when I get home without issue. I run it just in case a customer disputes the mileage charge or accounting can't believe the mileage that I report. It WILL drain a battery if left in a "always-on" outlet and you leave the car alone for a couple of weeks, such as an extended business trip. Keep that in mind. In addition, set up the user interface and reports online early and it'll make life a lot easier.

This product is great, a great buy!For a while I was having trouble getting this device to work. I contacted customer service and they went above and beyond to help me get my issue resolved (my "issue" turned out to be a user error).I would highly recommend this device (and i have!) to anyone looking for a simple, easy way to simplify keeping track of their mileage

I use this item extensively to track work-related vehicle mileage. It is very accurate and operates without interfering with my daily routine. There is no way to record purpose of trip during the day, only at the end of the day when you get back to your computer so if it's a complicated day you'll have to remember where you have been. I had a couple issues with the device I ordered from Amazon, but contacting the company this was quickly resolved and a new unit was shipped to me without charge.

I really like Mileage Ace. It is a great, friendly and easy to use little device. Further, I like their team. I had to switch out a router and enter a new address for the new router. As so often happens, there was a bit of a connection problem between Mileage Ace and the new router. I always look at how easily and politely a problem gets corrected. The Mileage Ace folks were on it and really helpful. I like this little dude riding shotgun against issues both reporting to my company and to the IRS.

I have tried I few mileage trackers so far, the last one was great but the company went through liquidation that is when I have ordered mileage ace. It does not record all the trips, after editing the trips adding purpose, choosing between personal or business use, I have saved it and than next time when I logged in it was all over the place again. It can not handle loading for a month of trips... I could not create report, so basically none of the functions they have charged me is actually working apart from taking the payment there is no issue there. So do not waste your money, it is impossible to get to customer service, even if they respond to an email they are not really helpful the service is still rubbish.

Just received two of these for our small buisness and turns out Amazon.ca still has some of the old decommissioned ones. I contacted mileage ace directly and they are sending a new one. I minor hiccup in my opinion. These little units are amazing, accurate and small footprint makes them ideal for a mileage making buisness user. Tax time will be a breeze

Simple to set up. Works seamlessly without having to think about it. Been using it for a few years now, and the reporting has always been accurate and easy to download. The customer service from the manufacturer is awesome. Very fast and helpful.

I bought two of them, it always stop working, keep failing on sending trips- sometimes it just doesnt recognize my wi-fi.- sometimes it just don't track youWouldn't recommend

I really love that it is a web service not just an app.
