- Alpine Swiss Rolling 17" Laptop Briefcase on Wheels Attache Lawyers Case Legal Size

I rarely take the time to submit a review, but after receiving and using this wheeled briefcase for about two weeks; I have to say it exceeds my expectations! Very sturdy and appears to be well made. Front and sides (outside) have large storage pockets. The inside top closure flap has storage for pens and glasses. Inside of the briefcase has more room than I expected. Will easily hold 10-12 legal size files approximately 1/2 -3/4 thickness. Includes an inside strap with Velcro closure to secure files in an upright position if you are transporting less than full load. Prior to this purchase I used a hard sided, wheeled, lockable, “banker box” to transport files from my office to home or court, but my box had no pockets for a laptop, pens, etc. I would give this wheeled briefcase six stars if I could!

I am extremely pleased with this product; holds my 17-inch laptop, numerous legal pads, folders, pens/pencils/highlighters etc. with plenty of room to spare. One side pocket enables me to coil and store the power cord and power supply with ease freeing up the other outer storage pockets for personal necessities. The wheels work fine over the asphalt parking lot, concrete sidewalks and carpeted floors with ease, no issues with the handle and overall the case feels sturdy and well put together. No regrets with this purchase.

Excellent product

This is my 4th or 5th one of these. They typically last for 2-3 years of heavy use while in the road. Gate checked, thrown around, carried by the extended handle, in and out of cars, etc. Other bags I've used last nowhere near as long. For this one, the wheels eventually buckle in before the extending handle breaks (which has never happened to me). Or the top flap starts ripping because I don't always latch it when carrying it. Latching before carrying would probably prevent that. Large size is perfect for 17+ inch laptop (or two!), with tools, sometimes even clothes as well for short trips. I got the cloth one instead of the leather one this time. It seems like it is a little bit more sturdy.

Was happy to get this item, but on the first use the lock failed. I did not change the combination as I did not need to lock it. However when I took the case out of my car, when I got to my destination, the lock was no longer on 000 and would not open. I was able to get it open trying several combos, but it failed again. I looked for reset info, there is no reset info online for alpine Swiss, no reset button on the lock, no customer support... nothing. I tried doing the sequential lock combos - all 999 of the, but it will not open. I also looked at each wheel to see if there was a an indicator where the lock was set. I would have liked to see if there is a "secret" to getting this open but there is absolutely no help anywhere. As I need a case, I guess I will return this and try another brand.

El maletín es muy amplio, los organizadores internos son adecuados para documentos, libros, tablets, etc. Algo a descartar es que no cabe de manera adecuada en la puerta de entrada de la cabina (A320) pero sin duda es una buena compra.

Although not ribust, the case looked ok though slightly overpriced due its quality. Only started to use it reagularly about 2 months and one of hinges has stopped working. It won't click in place. Very disappointed to see it can't be returned/replaced after 30 days of purchase. Currently searching amazon.co.uk pages to learn about possible repairs. The is not the hassle and inconvenience I expected from a £100 product.

Para la gente de aviación que esté interesado en adquirir este producto deben tener en cuenta el tamaño con el que cuentan sus cabinas, ya que es un poco amplio, en mi caso (cabina de EJET) el tamaño para colocarlo está justo a la medida. Tiene una gran capacidad de almacenamiento (headsets, lámpara, bitácora, etcétera), eso si, es un poco pesado pero nada de que preocuparse.
