Is this 17.00 for just one bottle of sauce???!!!!

This is a heavy bottle. To ship from coast to coast within the US is almost $10 using the cheapest USPS method. The sauce itself averages about $7. Shipping plus product = $17.

does it contain alcohol?

Yes, whiskey is one of the ingredients in the sauce. I would imagine the tiny amount of alcohol this sauce contains boils off when you apply it to meat on the grill.

is this the same sauce that tgif used to have?

No. I bought it because I was looking for something like the TGIF sauce, and this is not it but its very good.
