Inspire Cream 4 Slice Toaster, Textured High Gloss Finish

Really very nice. Love that my bagels fit in easily.

Don’t like this much had it a long time now but thought I’d write a review. Toast is not all that in it. However it was good value for money and looks good.

Good robust toaster that performs well. It’s fairly wide so will fit thick toasty bread easily and hot cross buns etc. You have to use the left hand side first and the right won’t depress without the first two slots (left) being used. I guess over time this might lead to the elements in the left deteriorating before the right and then not being able to use the right it will be useless , for that reason I have dropped a star. All the rest is great warming/defrosting functions work perfectly and the temp control is also accurate.

So far, so pleased with this duo toaster and kettle. Yes a bit tinny and not so robust as those of years gone by but then it is from China. Isn't everything!!! However the toaster toasts evenly which is a bonus and I like the idea of lifting the toast to see how its browning. The trays to empty crumbs pull out easily and easy to clean. The kettle is great, easy to fill and boils very quickly. Its a lovely looking set, modern and fresh looking so very pleased. Would definitely recommend. Only time will tell if I have to eat my words!!!

Excellent Buy

Very efficient toaster

This Russell Hobbs toaster managed to last a grand total of seven months before escalating from “slightly useless” to “genuine fire hazard”. Mid-use, it produced a series of loud pops followed by massive sparks shooting out of the side, enough to make me jump back and question whether I’d accidentally bought a small indoor fireworks display instead of a kitchen appliance. The smell of burning plastic sealed the deal. Breakfast was cancelled in favour of checking the fuse box and making sure the kitchen wasn’t about to go up in flames. This wasn’t misuse. Normal bread, normal settings, normal kitchen. No jam explosions, no foil, no abuse. Just a toaster that apparently decided its end goal was self-destruction. For a product sold under the Russell Hobbs name, that is seriously concerning. A toaster failing is annoying. A toaster failing by throwing sparks across the worktop is unsafe. This could easily have caused a fire and should not be happening after just seven months of light domestic use. The toaster is now unplugged permanently and waiting to be disposed of before it tries again. I would strongly advise anyone considering this model to think twice unless you enjoy electrical roulette with your morning toast. One star. Mostly for surviving long enough to write this review.

Nice looking toaster, but you can only use both sides if you want the same levels of "toastiness" if you want one side well done and the other a lighter toasting you'll have to do them separately as there is only one control that controls both sides. No good if one wants a tea cake and the other wants toast (unless uou want your teacake black) and if you press cancel it will cancel both. If you only want to do one set of toast you can only use the left side. The right side only works when using both.

So far so good.
