I didn't even know this was a thing until I was watching a video and saw someone using it. What a great idea - hate throwing away expensive coloring pencils. These work great. They fit my Prismacolor pencils. Some mentioned the grip - it took me a few tries to realize that you have to tighten it with intention. Keep turning until it does not turn anymore. None of my pencils have gotten loose. Great product and love that it came with so many of them!

I use these to use my colored pencils till the very end. Although these extenders might not fit all pencils, for those they do they are great: lightweight, with a good grip, and at a very convenient price.

There are contradictory sizes posted on the seller’s page, and some measurements listed that seem just plain wrong. First, the set of six holders are all the same size, fitting approximately 7mm pencils. They fit Faber-Castell Polychromos perfectly. The hexagonal Faber-Castell Albrecht Durers are too big for them, as are the 8mm Caran D’Ache Luminance, Museum Aquarelles, and Derwent Lightfast. The two double-ended larger holders have two different sizes. The narrower seems to be the exact same size as the single-ended holders, and the collars used to tighten the grip on the pencils (shown end to end in the photo) are interchangeable. The larger end seems to be closer to 9mm. It is definitely larger than the 8mm Derwent pencil Extender (the larger, silver one), and correspondingly holds 8mm pencils, but on the loose side (you might want to put a layer of tape on the pencils to snug them up). 7mm holders tested with: Faber-Castell Polychromos: fit well. Caran D’Ache Supracolor Soft (hexagonal barrel): reasonably well Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer (hexagonal barrel): You can kinda stuff in the tail end of the pencil to just past the silver band, but can’t really adjust the length. Not recommended. Caran D’Ache Luminance, Museum Aquarelle, Derwent Lightfast: same as the Durers, but even more marginal. I wouldn’t recommend these for any pencil listed as 8mm or more. . 9mm Faber Castell Albrecht Durer: Fits a little loose. Can use in a pinch, but the 8mm Derwent holder works better. Derwent Museum Aquarelle: About the same. Caran D’Ache Luminance: looser than the previous two - tape to snug them up or pass. Derwent Lightfast: same as the Luminance. Conclusion: great for 7mm round pencils such as the Polychromos. All eight holders worked well with them, and represent a bargain. For 8mm pencils, it’s neither fish nor fowl - just a bit too loose with the wider holder on the double-ended example, and too tight with the narrower holder. If you happen to have 9mm wide pencils, the wider end might be just the thing, but the brands I have aren’t a good match. The double ended extenders are noticeable heavier. You will probably have to take the pencils out to sharpen them.

I've made numerous purchases of the 3 pack versions of this item over the past 5 years. As an artist my materials can get expensive and I prefer to use each pencil as fully as possible down to the last inch if I can. I prefer this design to the old fashioned wood and tin style extender as it holds more securely. And allows the pencil to be even shorter while still being held in place. No, they are not for holding the pencil while in an electric or school style pencil sharpener. To my knowledge no extender does that. Remove the pencil, sharpen however you like (my preference for the short stubbies is a manual handheld Staedtler or Prismacolor sharpener) then back into the extender. While this is my first purchase from this particular seller I will restate the same ratings from prior purchases of this item. It fits everything I've put to it from Mirado classic yellow #2 school type pencils; Prismacolor (Premier, Col-Erase, Scholar, and watercolor pencils); Derwent (Studio, Watercolor, and graphite); Woodless graphite pencils; and Sandford Turquoise drafting and drawing pencils. In multiple random purchases I have yet to receive one that does not work as expected.

Too big for use with any of my 4 sets of colored pencils. I ended up sending them back.

Just got these pencil extenders today so cannot say how they will be in the long run but I did want to say that they seem very sturdy and nice. They fit my prismacolor Priemer pencils just fine and they fit my Brutfuner Square pencils also. Which is really nice because I have read other reviews that said they couldn't find an extender to fit the square Burtfuner's. As you can see in the picture the Brutfuner's fit nicely in the double ended externder's I tried 2 different single ended extender and they didn't fit. I also tried them with my Faber-Castell Goldfaber Aqua, Derwent Watercolor pencils and my older Walnut Hallow Farm oil pencils. They fit everything I have! I am very happy with my purchase, I would recommend this set and I would purchase them again.

I use these extenders for my colored pencils. They are used almost everyday, and they hold up. I have only had one extender stop working, it would not hold the pencil tight but i am perfectly okay with that. I have purchased several sets of these and out of all of them, I only had issues with 1, that is a great track record in my eyes. They are made of some type of metal product so they are really durable. I like having the different colors too. I will be purchasing more of them, they are definitely my "go to " extender. I highly recommend this item.

La neta esta barato para lo que ofrece, con el tiempo la pintura se cae, pero su función queda intacta, es resistente y no como otros de se barren, muy buena compra, yo digo que compres unos 2 paquetes porque te aseguro que se van a acabar.

Solides, joli, agréable à utiliser et prend plusieurs types de crayon. La bague de serrage pratique et fonctionne parfaitement elle tient très bien les crayons . Je recommande ce produit .

8 estensori, 6 con per una sola matita, 2 con possibilità di inserirne due alle estremità, i colori sono stupendi, color pastello metallizzato opaco, sono ben fatti e di buon materiale non di plastica. Ho inserito alcuni mozziconi di matita e colori e non tutte entrano, ho quelle triangolari Giorgione, troppo grosse, altre troppo piccole di diametro, leggendo altre recensioni ho aggiunto spessore arrotolando intorno del nastro adesivo di carta e funziona. Per quelle più grandi invece, livellerò rendendo il diametro più piccolo. Il prodotto è valido, adesione non perfetta per tutte le matite o colori ma risolvibile con piccoli trucchetti, lo stile a me piace moltissimo sono molto maneggevoli e il fissatore in argento non infastidisce l'impugnatura che ovviamente come molti Artisti sanno è più in alto del centro e non vicino alla punta come qualcuno usa fare. Ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo, io ne consiglio l'acquisto. Sono felice di poter riusare i mozziconi di colori a matita di marca e che mi è sempre stato difficile buttare e non poterle usare fino alla fine. Per l'imballaggio invece ho qualcosa da ridire, la postina praticamente lo ha lanciato il pacco e meno male che essendo di buon materiale non le ho trovate piegate o rovinate, ma consiglio di avvolgerle in plastica con quei cosini che mi diverte schiacciare non mi viene in mente il nome corretto 😂😂 . A very good product

Tem um boa qualidade. Porém os de pontas duplas é um pouco difícil de adaptação. Um veio até frágil que logo a rosca quebrou. No mais, é um bom produto.
